Storyline/Plot

Do you ever wonder what the story of Final Fantasy VII would have been like if you could change it? Or maybe have the different paths you can take? Or a completely NEW adventure? Well here it is, all in one.

Re walk the steps of your ancestors.
Re live the scenes of your past.
Redo History.
History will be repeated to whom did not see it once before.

It is 73 years since the events of FFVII.. The grandchildren of the Heroes who defeat Sephiroth.
Are destined to retrace their ancestors steps.

When Sephiroth was defeated he left behind a materia. A single Materia that would change history. If found by the wrong hands, Sephiroth could regenerate into a new body.
And if that did happen his target would be Cloud's grandchild Brett Strife.
And it did.

Mass killings have been happening in Midgar and the Grandchildren of the heroes of VII (Who are friends anyway) decide to escape to the outskirts were its rumoured to be safe.
They form a group called Strife(Named after the obvious).
Their group were going to defend everyone in Midgar from the mass killers.
Little did they know that forming one group ment going to so many places.

The Rp Will be divided into 3 parts each with its own thread.

Part 1-The beginning

The group has formed and they head out to the outskirts. This will be a long journey full of ups and downs. Not many people will go with them as they prefer the safety of their own home. Little do they know the Mass Murderer has sent people to Deal With STRIFE

The quiet but deadly one of the pack. He leads the way and rarely speaks.
He is a 2nd class materia hunter.
Appearance: Brett Strife has the same hair as cloud and wears a red vest with a white jacket. His trousers are red with rips in and his shoes are black converse.
Weapon: Buster Sword.
Materia: Cure

Greg has bright Red hair that defies Gravity. He was born with Red eyes. Weapon: Two wooden Rods. Personality: Greg is a stubborn boy who will get what he wants and when he wants it. He was raised in a rich lifestyle, this is why he is so stubborn. He can be really chaotic at times, find everything boring so tries to make it better, ussualy gets into trouble, doesn't have any friends, thinks of him self as a lone wolf on a one way road.

Abilities: 1. He can see where people have materia in there body, allowing him to use his rods to knock them out.
2. Is able to slow down time as his limit break

History: Childhood: As Greg grew up he lived in a rich house with rich parents. His Dad was a materia hunter and his Mum owned a chocobo ranch. Greg would wait for his dad to come home as he always told him stories of how he found new materia and what it does. When Greg grew up he wanted to be like his dad. A materia Hunter.

7th Birthday: On Gregs Seventh birthday her received only three gifts. From his dad he received two Rods. From his mum he got a strap which tied around your arm. Greg was so confused when he got these present so he asked his dad what they were. He said they were the basic stuff a materia hunter would need. Rods for defence. And Straps to hold materia in. Greg was so pleased.

My first Materia: When Greg was 11 he went Materia hunting with his dad. Dads voice echoed in Gregs ears. 'Its gonna be dangerous G' .Without warning Greg came with his dad to a church. The floor was covered in flowers. “ What materia are we looking for? “ Greg asked. His dad was silent. All of a sudden There was a loud gunshot. Greg's dad fell to the ground. Behind him was a tall man with a magnum pistol. “ Leave time alone. “ The man said as he walked away. Greg didn't understand what was going on. His dad laid there. Bleeding. What was Greg going to do? He couldn't. “ YOU BASTARD!” Greg screamed at the man as he walked away. Greg lunged at him with his rods. The man fell to the ground. Greg wacked the man with the rod in the chest and out came a ball of materia. Greg picked it up. And pushed it into his chest. Greg could see all the materia in the mans body. There was one left. In the mans right arm. Greg smashed it with his rod. Out it came. “ Don't mess with time. “

Name: Ivka Lockhart

Class: Fighter

Race: Human

Age: 24

Brief Description: Ivka's past relative; Tifa Lockhart was a fighter and now that Ivka has been brought up in the world, she is not looking to be a second Tifa, and hunts for a fight. Ivka is a solitary person, and is quite bossy. She likes to take the lead and is very personal. She does not have a sense of humour, and is a very serious and difficult person to get on with.

History: Ivka passed her training to be a fighter, and won all her awards. She is known in Wutai as the "Electric Lady" and is considered a fighting legend. Her relative; Tifa wasn't very popular, only in Midgar and was known for stopping Sephiroth.

Ivka does not hunt for to kill, only battle. Her fights are over in seconds and she is skilled highly in battle, her techniques are astounding and she is known for packing a punch. After her family decided to disown her, Ivka moved away from Wutai and moved to the Mako city of Midgar, purely to fight. And to stop evil.

Materia: Lightning

Limit Break: Electric Pulse
- causes all enemies to become paralyzed
- causes all enemies significant Lightning damage
- cures Ivka and casts Protect and Shell.
- causes Lightning damage when Ivka hits.
- in Limit Break; her eyes turn black.

Weapon: Fists / Swords

- hits four times
- when using her sword, she hits twice.
- sword is supplied by Lightning

I have a character here, I will change things though just to let you know...But first I have a question, will I be allowed to start with a very special materia? If not, this character just can't work :wacky: It would be called The Silver Materia, because it's best related to his abilities...

Here he is, I made the changes...

Name – Arukab Tashira Valentine.

Alignment – Lawful nuetral

Race – Human

Gender – Male

Age – 54

Appearance – Long black hair down to his mid back, his bangs cover his forehead. his eyes are bllod red and he has relatively pale skin however he still maintains that normal peach color. he has no visable scars, however there are many hidden by his clothing attire. H wears a long sleeve full length trench coat made from genuine black leather. under his coat is a silk and coton made dark grey shirt. he wears loose black demin jeans that need a belt to hold them up. his belt is leather w/ silver rings in it and has a silver belt buckle resembling a tarantula. His footwear is boots that reach just below his knees and have silver plates over the toe and heel parts, effective when kicking opponents. all up those boots are straps that also have silver buckles. on his shoulders he wears veary thick, but due to his power not too heavy, spiky silver shoulder plates. he has a pair of white gloves that he always wears despite all his black and as i already specified, he does not carry his gunblade around unless in combat.


Personality – Only speaking when spoken too, Arukab does not attempt to start conversation most of the time, but when spoken to, he responds politely and continues the conversation kindly. He is a good aoul trapped in a dark shell, and very proud of who he is. He bows his steel to no man, nation, or legion. A decision arukab made years ago leads him to defend who he feels need defending, and punishing the ones he dubs as wrong. He does have a good sense of morality to go with that, sided with great mind for justice, punishing bad with bad (eye for an eye style). He would NEVER inrentionally hurt someone that he deemeb as innocent under any circumstances given.
He keeps his emotions generally stable, and he is a difficult one to anger, because he is a patient man with a high tollerance. His stable mindset makes him a great stratigist and a good thinker. He is a very smart one to befriend.
Arukab likes to relax every so often and have som alcohol, but he never drinks enough to get himself drunk.
Arukab has a big thing with children. He will protect a child before a man, and he will never give up to save said child from any harm.

First Impression – With Arukabs dark appearance, someone may startle when approaching him, but his eyes and face never give anyone reason to back away. He has a warming and innocent, slightly pained look in his eyes, and his smile is gentle. Asking his name will lead to the question of his own, "What would this mean to you?" and the odds are he will not tell his true name unless he knows you are trustable. Other than that, he is very kind to any whome approach him.
Also, he looks like someone who has seen many battlefeilds with sad endings.

Strength – So lets say Arukab was benchpressing, at moust he would be able to bench 10 reps of 160 pounds before needing to rest. Punching a solid brick at max power would crack the brick in half, but nothing too bad as to comparison of some warriors he has met.

Speed – At top speed after a good build up, Arukab can run at approx. 30 kph (about 18 mph). However his start off running speed is not great at all, he has to build up speed to go fast at all, and he is not much for running. He can run at this speed fo about ten minutes, but if joggind he could run for about 15 before needing a break.

Endurance – Arukab has a tough exterior, he can easily take a hit and keep walking. However he must avoid being cut, because he is sensative underneath his skin. Putting any pressure on any wound would make Arukab feel strong pain.

Reflexes – When hearing a single step behind him, he will draw his blade and get ready for defense. He knows better than to try an attack because his reaction timing with attacks is delayed a little, so it could be fatal. Just because he prepairs for the attack does not mean he will defend it, He only will be prepared. He would have to have a .5 second notice to actually defend himself properly. That could sometimes be fatal, so he likes to fight with one he can trust to watch his back.

Weapons – Arukab uses a silver gunblade dubbed as the "soul shot". It's gun handle is that of a SIG-sauer P225 Pistol (linked) However it has silver plating on the sides of the handle. The trigger is silver, but the area around it is black.
The blade on the gunblade is made of solid silver, as stated above. The blade is approxamately 15 inches in length and 4 inches deceasing from the handle in width. There is an area near the middle of the blade that dips down about 5 inches from the top of it, but retreats back up and continues to narrow.

Abilities – Using the silver materia, Arukab can...
If Arukab is to lose the gunblade held in his hand, he will be the same age as he was when he held it, as it simply stops aging, not pauses it. The gunblade also prevents any poisons from gettin inside his cells, so if a poison is injested he will not be effected, but if the gunblade is lost while poison is in the blood, he will start to get affected. Same goes for venoms.
Silver Materia: This allows him to grow silver out of his bones, making silver attachments rip out of his skin. The silver grows into whatever shape he so desires. The silver is created from the spiritual energy that Arukab houses, so there are limits and defects. One defect is that when he makes silver, it uses a 1[silver] : 1.5[energy] ratio. His magic also runs on this energy, but does not use it up, so when he uses his silver, it takes away from the effectiveness of his magic, causing it to be less potent. Also, the most silver he can use before having used up all his energy is enough to cover his entire body in 2 inch diamater 5 inch length spikes, however he rarely uses that much silver. When the silver is created, that spiritual energy is used and cannot be made into more silver, it is set so that energy is used until the silver is to return to the body. When one piece of silver is to return to the body, it turns back into spiritual energy, and is able to be used again instantly, as long as he does not keep it out. When one piece grows out it is not set out permanantly and can retreat it while keeping other pieces of the silver out, and even possible to retreat one piece while growing another, as if the energy is being transferred to a new location. He can constantly make the silver until he has reached the limit. However, there is a side effect to using his energy to make the silver. His ability to control the weight will decrease with the more energy being used, so the more silver he has out, the heavier it gets in relation to mass.
╚LIMIT: Argentum Barage: his ratio to making silver is changed to 7[silver]: 1[energy] for less than one second. He uses this split second to make large silver spikes grow out from everywhere in his body, however it then instantly retreats, so its uses are only good when he is surrounded by several weak enemys. It is not very useful against smart or strong enemys.
╚LIMIT: Silver Phantom: This ability lasts for about 3 minutes before he reverts back to normal. He grows silver horns and silver wings that expand widely and long enough to cover his whole body. The wings cannot fly, as they are far to heavy, and he can hardly jump. His running is even slowed massively. The wings are feathered and he can shoot the silver feathers out of the wings, at the sacrafice of the porportional amoung of evergy taken to make that feather.

Metallic Manipulation: His magic involves anything combat related as long as it is made from metal. this is a rare magic that few can master in one lifetime. He can change the weight of any metal things in his possession, making armor lighter etc. etc.. W/ his abilities he can make his gunblade dissapear or vanish, however the weapon may not be in his hands at the time it is in fact in his possession. nothing too flashy.

History – Arukab was born of the descendant of Vincent valentine. Arukab first trained with a gun and sword, one in each hand, but eventually combine the two to create his gunblade. He grew up in the same place as his birth, the Shinra mansion. He was a hidden one from society, but in his secrecy, he also aided on making sure that anyone climbing Mt. Nibel would not become ambushed. He lived in secrecy there his entire life and still does to this day. He found a peculiar materia in the science lab room one day, the materia was seemingly a ball of metal, but it was definitely a materia. He was then able to gain several abilities from said materia, and hardly uses any other materia...
 
Instead of my posting another character, I'm going into deeper description on Ivka.
