How do you play that card game for some reason i just keep on losing is there any tips or tactics so i can win i got all the cards that i originally got upto the point where you will travel on train as thats where i am now.
 
It gets easier, honest..once you win the first couple of games you should be fine, if you keep losing, go fight monsters and get more cards. If you take someone on that you know you wont beat early on, don't rechallenge them, move on to someone else

I tend to go collect afew at first, although once you have the Ifrit card you should be pretty much set. If you can help it, try not to leave lower numbers exposed as you place them on the grid

There should be a tutorial in the menu, Im crap at explaining the card game, even though I know how to play it, Im only chucking in my peanut because Im gunna move thos to the help booth for you :wacky:

A few beginners tips: Try to start with a card that has two high numbers next to each other in a corner. Eg:

The two in the bottom right are high, so place it in the top right corner of the board.

Depending on the other player, try to get a variety of card combinations. You don't want cards that have only 1 high number.

Look at the tutorial for the rules and shit. As you play more, you'll learn more advanced techniques to win your games.
 
The game is pretty easy if you don't play with Plus, Random or Same. Even with those last two is just about math and if you can see the opponent hand.

If you think the game is too hard, go on with the story as you defeat/Acquire more GF's you get new and powerful cards, with Character/Summon cards everything gets more easy ;)
 
Oh also, maybe abit far in, but it's worth remembering, that if you end up with rules that you don't like, theres a guy in Balamb that you can play (sat at the harbour) if you beat him, then the rules will be reset to just 'trade rule one' or 'open'.......

Also if you have a nasty rule you can also avoid it carrying over. If someone says youknow rules from another region lets play with theirs and ours, if you keep saying no/yes - then quit afew times there is a chance that the rules wont get carried over into the new region. That's pretty handy if you are running around with the random rule and don't wanna spread it across the land

Although that teqhnique isn't 100% guaranteed, it's pretty darn handy at times :monster:
 
hey guys thanks for the tips sory i haven't been on for a few days busy looking for a job lol .I know how to play the game jus my stadegy is lame lol .Anyways i think i carry on the game get more gfs then play .Would all the people that you originally going to face still be there throughout the game .
