[FFXIII-2] Who would you choose?

So there have been questions since the revealing of the new Character Noel in the upcoming game, one of the main ones being - Will he be a rival for Serah's affection?

Now here is my question - If you were Serah, who would YOU choose?

We have Snow - Mr Hero of the world, although a bit too big for his boots, known to be a little reckless, however his love for Serah is pretty admirable, as is his determination to prove to Lightning his love for her sister.

And now Noel - I've seen quite a few female FF fans swoon over this new guy, I mean yeah, his pants are a bit big for him, but his attitude and bravery is badass, and he also seems to show a bit of concern towards Serah when she's in trouble.

Anyway, the decision is yours now.
 
Goodness me, if I were Serah, I'll probably be in a bit of a dilemma:

- If I were to pick Snow, I'll at least do the decent thing because he did propose to me and I did say yes, so that means we're engaged. However, I despise nearly everything about him. He's practically double my size and with my tiny stature, improbable age of 18 (or older in the sequel) and general jailbait looks, I could probably get the big guy into trouble. Good, many of you say. We would look absolutely stupid together anyway, considering he will have to virtually crouch to kiss me and I'm sure my sister Lightning, who certainly is not dead, is still unsure of this man. I mean, he keeps yelling "I'M THE HERO!!" or some shit, and I somehow know that he kept yelling my name at the top of his voice every 3 seconds in the last game, despite the fact that I was a crystal and couldn't possibly have heard him. I do appreciate the fact though that he never gave up on me, even though it meant putting his own life at stake, but as I'm actually loyal to all the gamers out there, I'm afraid to say that his life doesn't mean much to me at all.

- Noel, hrm. To begin with, I don't even know the guy that well at all, he sorta came out of nowhere. But hey, he did save me from those weird metallic bug-like things and I suppose I have to be grateful to him for that. At least with him, he probably won't recklessly drag himself - with me in tow most likely - to some dangerous adventure and declare himself to be the hero every 5 seconds, right? The best thing is - he actually looks somewhere close to my age and similar in stature! And I find his name charming too. "Noel" - reminds me of Christmas for some reason, even though the concept of Christmas doesn't exist in this universe. Snow on the other hand, sounds like a name given to a baby of an ambiguous gender by very cruel parents.
 
If I was Serah? Lets see. Snow just whines all the time on how he wants to save me and how he wants to be the hero and all that shit. Why can he not be quiet when saving me? Plus my sister always knocks him down to the ground for being a complete whiner. I do not know if I would either pick Snow or Noel to be my one true love. I am a very cute girl but these two do not catch my eye. Snow is just some wannabe "hero." Noel is some guy I saw in my dreams who saved me from some weird monsters. To tell the truth I would rather not have any of them. :olivia: Noel might be a nice Christmas gift... owait. Snow... falls on the day of Noel... :hmmm: As a cute girl, I would not want any of these guys. My sister would just tell me to become a lesbian :monster: I know she will, because I believe she is not dead etc.
 
Judging by character and decency it would have to be Noel easily. Snow is an irritating hero-wannabe peadophile, I can't believe SE would put a shy girl like Serah paired with someone like Snow. For Serah's sake, I really do hope Snow is dead in XIII-2 or Noel knocks him out and takes her girl. Either way I can't see anyone being intresting in Serah's part of the story, just like in XIII,she looks like the focus of this story and I couldn't give a damn about her then so I definately won't during XIII-2.
 
Honestly don't know. Even though Snow annoys me with the whole Hero speech all the time, he can be super sweet. i mean, a ride through the fireworks? He is relentless too, which can be nice. There is also the fact that we don't know much about Noël that well yet. He can turn out to be a total douche.

Plus, if she does end up choosing him, I bet she will get a lot of hate. Serah, that is.
 
Snow is so irritating...ANYONE has got to be better than him and his arrogant and cocky fratboyish ways. I don't know Noel but he's already my choice for Serah. :wacky: He's closer to her size, looks out for her (apparently from the trailer) and doesn't appear to be overconfident in his abilities...or lack thereof :dave:
 
I don't mind Noel's baggy pants ^_^ He reminds me of Shuyin. (Look-wise) But yup I'd pick Noel. He even jumped off a building to save her. He's def not afraid of heights.
 
Never was a huge fan of Snow, but he really did care for her in the original game. I'm hoping she picks Noel because he seems super sweet and sexy, but if she chooses Snow, I would be annoyed for picking such a annoying guy, but would understand also, because once upon a time these two were madly in love with each other. Hopefully Noel, but Snow seems like the most likely decision.

I just remembered who Snow is after I clicked on that polling option.

Comparing their appearances, I think Snow appears to be the more badass looking guy than Noel. Noel appears to be the more standard pretty-boy type of match up. Still not sure what sort of person they are, but whatever.

I think I would have picked Snow eitherway. But yeah.

Quick note, when you're posting in a post-count section like this one, try and make sure your post itself contributes a bit more to the thread, rather than quoting another poster just to say you agree with them. Perhaps expand on it a little more if that's okay. =]

I think she should stay with Snow. I don't care if Snow is annoying, or a hero wannabe, that doesn't really affect anything. Even if Noel is better looking, engaged is engaged.
Serah obviously saw something in Snow that we didn't see. You don't get engaged to someone you don't care a whole lot about, right?
For those of you saying he was being annoying with his hero speeches, and yelling for Serah all the time, did he do that when he was actually WITH her? No, he was just sweet and loving. He loves her a lot, so I'm going with Snow.
 
I think I'm gonna have to agree with klaww on this one. She made the choice to say yes to him, so now she has to honor that choice. Plus, as klaww said, she wasn't with him when he did all his hero cries, so she doesn't know about those.
 
I don't think Noel will be rivalizing Snow's feelings towards Serah. I mean... it's not that I like Snow as a character, but I know that his love for Serah wouldn't be compared with whatever kind of feelings shall Noel have for her.
Noel with Serah seem pretty much like "girl with gay friend" kind of relationship xD

Besides, it's very much likely that Serah is already married to Snow by that time (and maybe children, what means that Snow might be occupied being a father, who knows), so, even if there was the slightest chance of her developing romantic feelings towards Noel, she'd be carrying on with the relationship she already has with Snow...

So, NoelxSerah: NOT HAPPENING. No. Never.
 
I HATE NOEL AND I HATE SNOW. Yet i know snow more so i say i like him more.

Also snow doesn't look like a FF10 rip.
 
Well... Personally saying, I favors Noel to Snow... and i think Serah and Snow will end up divorced in FFXIII-2...
Everyone thinks Lighting is dead, i suppose Snow is one of them... and I think that is the reason for their end of relationship...
;) but she still have the necklace around her neck though... Pure imagination don't take things so seriously

I'd ditch them both and sleep with someone who isn't a complete fucking retard. Seriously, if I were Serah and was given a choice like that, I think I'd throw myself off a cliff.

Snow...Snow is easily the most irritating character in the game, after Hope. If a sentence doesn't have "hero" in it, it has "SERAH!" in it instead. That isn't love, it's blind obsession. Snow's entire character revolves around two things: his overwhelming desire to be the hero, and his overwhelming desire to save Serah so that he can prove he's a hero; it has nothing to do with her. Snow is more of an irritating big brother figure than a lover.

...not to mention she's too young for him anyway. There is no way in any reality that Serah is really eighteen, and Snow looks to be in his late twenties or early thirties. Square Enix can slap whatever age they want on the two of them, but it doesn't change the fact that they do not look right together.

Noel...Noel is like a female version of Fang. He hunts monsters on Gran Pulse, yet he knows nothing about the land itself. He either has a death wish, or he's just plain stupid. He's your standard-issue generic pretty boy with barely any brains whatsoever, and he's obviously just out to impress her, like an antelope in mating season or something. Noel is a storm of hormones.

So, in short, I'll take option three, whatever it may be. What's wrong with keeping your legs closed anyway?
