Help FFXIII: how do i make lots of gill on ff13

At Eden the sacrifices at the end along with the sacrifices in orphans cradle drop perfume which can sell for 12500 each. Just make sure you have a collectors catalog when you beat them up. They might drop scarlelites also which are worth 7000. Or you can defeat adamantoises. Depends how strong you are and if you get a 5 star rating they will drop platinum ingot worth 150000.

I'll shift this over to the FFXIII Help Booth, please remember there is a help section for each FF Game ^^

As for me, I found the best place to farm a lot of gil quickly was to defeat Adamantoises and farm Platinum Ingots, just use the Death trick if you're not powerful enough to kill them normally. Great CP too.

i found with the death trick it takes so long and its not a defo that u will get anything from it, i do farm for perfumes in eden, that is where i get my gill from at the mo, the worst thing about this game is no gill from battles!

Treasure hunting with a chocobo on the archylte steepe can get a plush chocobo worth 35000, a moogle puppet worth 18000, a gold nugget worth 60000, gold dust worth 15000, but you can also get millerite, rhodochrosite, cobaltite, chocobo plume, chocobo tail feather, dawnlight dew, and dusklight dew and they all have a very low resale value. It's pure luck what you find but can be handy income without fighting

It's unfortunate and tedious but it is pretty much the only way to obtain any significant amount of GIL "quickly". All you have to do is just save at the point near the adamantoise beat it, if you get something - save, if not - reload. You'll be at it for hours mind t_t

When fighting the adamantoise equip vanille with the malboro wand and summon hecatoncheir at the start of the fight too disable the legs have, any accessories like auto-haste there a real help and casting vigilance on vanille can improve your odds of getting a successful death. Have a collector catalog on one of your party members it increases the odds of getting a platinum ingot. Put a connoisseur catalog on one of your party members and get a few trapezohedron's while your at it.

Sanctum Inquisitrix drop Perfume more often than Sacrefices.
and thats wierd because its their rare drop and Sacrefices normal drop.

ok guys who is up 4 sum experiments to find out where is best to make gill, some ppl do the adamantoise death trick while others do the edenhall run (from sacrifices in orphans cradle to the worp zone to eden hall) fight all sacrifices and sanctum Inquisitrix up 2 the juggernaut (beat it) go through the doors abit (2 respawn them all) then turn bk and repeat, give a 1 hour time limit and post on here what u get,

I think your best bet is this guide here which has pretty decent gil farming methods in it.
You'd be suprised how much you can make with chocobo digging, and you get a trophy / achievement for digging so many so there's no point not to at least try it anyway.

you need to keep killing sacrifices until you are powerful enough to take on the adamantoise in eden. then just keep recycling the soldiers and farm for platinum ingots. make sure you have a collectors catalog equiped to one of your characters. if you have connoiseur that will only increase the scarlitite and trapazehedron drop rate for sacrifices and adamantoises respectively :D

I farmed the white cei'th in Eden and Orphans Cradle personally.

In saying that I did my share of Adamantoise death farming in Eden and got lucky with a new ingots, but that money was quickly spunked on Ultima Weapon for Lightning.

When you get crappy weapons/accessories, you sell them, and repeat it for a few more times, and trust me you'll get like 1,000,000 gil in no time. I did this for like three days strait, and I had like 500k gill in my greedy pockets. But if you have some sort of problem with selling equipment for whichever reason, then I recommend doing it differently. :lew:

I always liked fighting of sanctum soldiers, and psicom soldiers for incentive chips, and credit chips. I just played through a chapter last night and collected over 30 incentive chips and credit chips in just over 15 minutes or so. The credit chips sell for like 500 a chip and the Incentive chip is like 2500 I believe per chip.

Sell accessories which you have more than once, especially the HP + accessories you'll recieve multiple times and gives you a lot of money.
If you plan to go for the treasure hunter trophy then don't sell the crappy weapons unless you upgraded it to tier 2.

What I've done mostly was just running arounf Eden to fight the soldiers and got lucky with perfumes ad chips, then I fought the adamontoise many times and to fill up the summon gauge again I fought soldiers again to get chips.

You can do mission 54 many times (adamantortoise) if you don't get the platinum ingot you at least get a gold nugget which sells from 60.000 , but it does take long to do this method.

What you also can do is go to the Taejin tower and repeat mission 24 many times, if you are strong enough you can kill them in one minute and you'll get a moonblossom seed everytime you kill it and that sells for 6000.

You can get gold nuggets from riding the chocobos and having them search on the plains. Although it seems random what the rewards are for doing this.If you are lucky you will get a couple of nuggets or gold dust each time you search. The searches reset when it seems whenever you teleport.
To me that's a lot easier than trying to kill adamantortoises.
