Help FFXIII: Taejin Tower

I'm stuck in the Taejin Tower in FFXIII, trying to beat the Ambling Bellows. It doesn't matter what I do, I can not beat this. Any help would be appreciated.

Also, I've heard that if you can't win a battle and try numerous times, apparently you can just skip that battle. Does anyone know if this is true? And if so, how many times do you have to retry the battle before you can skip?

you can't skip boss battles........

if you have any use fotisol and aegisol.............

then during the fight use the relentless assault paradigm...........and use descretion to heal and keep the string of attacks up.

then use a scaboutar and deprotect and deshell(before he gets staggered).............

from there on it should be easy......use relentless assault though..........thats how I completed this one. it would be nice to have a synergist as well so constantly switch paradigms to a character with a synergist role as well.

And descretion to heal while attacking with one commando as well.

the ideal party would be Lightning,Fang and Hope...........

Keep in mind that if you kill the smaller ones more smalelr ones will apear.

I have been stuck on him all day, he had my number on my 1st play through as well. Here is how i did it, fang, vanille and sazh. fang as a SAB vanille MED and Sazh SYN. Inflict pain on the ambling belows this makes him unable to attack with Fang. Then relentless assault his arse. Summon Bahumut when he is halfway staggerd just to speed things up a bit or you could COM COM RAV him when he staggerd making sure you have sazh enthunder himself and fang. Good luck although you shouldn't need it
