Final Fantasy, A game for boys or girls

I used to think that mostly boys played ff but recently i made a thread called Do people around you hate ff and lots of people said oters hated it cos it was a girls game, so wots do you think, i mean ffx-2 is totally girly but crisis core is much more for boys so what do you think?

you see i have the theory that Final fantasy is a game for both Genders. Although the characters sets do tend to vary depending on the gender of the player. for instance I normally used Cloud, Vincent and Red XIII as my three main FFVII characters whereas one of my female friends just informed me over MSN that her regular FFVII characters are Cloud Tifa and Aeris (until death upon which she is replaced by Yuffie)
