Following the release of Final Fantasy VII on the PlayStation Network in Japan, Square Enix has decided to follow that up with Final Fantasy Tactics.

Tactics is considered a classic amongst many Final Fantasy fans, and there have been a few spin-offs from the original PlayStation One version, which are a testament to its success.

The game is now available on the Japanese PlayStation store, and can be played on the PlayStation 3, or PlayStation Portable. It's available for ¥1,000 (approx $10).

Ooh. I'd be interested if they ever released this over in the UK too. It would be nice to play the non-WOTL version ^^

Well, there's something. I already own the two versions of FFT, the original PS1 and the PSP version, so it's a little over-kill to play the same game a third time even if I did own a the ability to play it via PSN, but I'm sure this will make several fans happy ^^
