Final Fantasy VII music on TV on TV

I recently went on a That 70's Show binge and found this...

Now I can not find any proof that what I am saying is true...but i am pretty confident that I am correct here.


fast forward to the 6min 50sec mark and the music in the background sounds very familiar to the music in Final Fantasy VII. It really hit me about 20secs later just before Laurie sits down on the couch..It really sounds like either the highwind theme or the music playing when wandering the world map. The only problem I have with this is that the show was taking place in the 70's, i.e. the name, and Final Fantasy VII was released in 1997, so it technically should not be there.

Just thought this was funny and was worth sharing...If anyone else knows of other shows that also has music from one of the games feel free to post it.

It is for me. But no, that is definitely not FFVII music. I get that you're thinking it's Under the Rotten Pizza... but it's not. It's similar... but it's not Final Fantasy VII.

Sexist? Just because everyone that lives in England is a fag, doesn't necessarily mean it's sexist.

But yea, it does sound very similar... but it's not FFVII music. It's just not any tune that was ever in FFVII. Same sound, same instruments, etc...but not FFVII.
