Basically, this is where I'm gonna shove all the information for the RP so that you can all come here to check out information if the discussion thread is getting too cluttered. One post will be for bios. One will be for soundtrack, and another will have a summary of the plot at regular intervals.

Anyway, if you have character themes, battle themes, themes you want to play at some point, just post em in the discussion thread at some point and I'll edit em into the soundtrack post so that you can all enjoy it. I'll make a post for all the bios tonight or tomorrow. Aaaaand that's it. Have fun.

This mystic weapon was synthesized in the Fires of a volcano, giving a slight bost to Stephen's magic, it is predominantly a physical weapon the blade is a foot long, and the handle starts at a single foot long, or can be extended to 4 feet, depending on it's requirement. it's a simple blade and hilt that looks like This

Personality: Stephen is cold and cut off, he allows his physical properties and his intimidating appearance speak for him as he is a man of few words. Stephen has few friends and doesn't rely on anyone else, he is more one to us his own strength to help people.

Bio: Born in Palumporum, Stephen was raised by his father, as his mother died during child birth, His father only knew of oe way to raise his father, the way he was raised, through tough love and tougher training, from the age of 10 Stephen was trained in both Sword combat and Spear Combat, his father being skilled with both because of his weapon, the bladed lance.

Both Stephen and his father were out training one day, when something went wrong and Stephen's father was struck by an attack from a powerful monster, Stephen serged with emotion, catching the monster off guard he managed to strike it down.

Instantly dropping everything and charging to his fathers side, only just making it to his side for his final breaths, "be great son" his father muttered as he used the last of his strength to pass stephen the Bladed lance, before he died.

Stephen has spent the past 7 years training indipendantly so he could be a higly efficient mercenary.

Personality: Brynhildr's personality matches her fiery element, she is highly defensive of her summoner, Stephen, but is always ready for a fight, she is both prideful and powerful, and is highly capable of fending off foes in large amounts. She trusts her summoner, and knows that he can handle himself in a fight, (she will learn this when she battles him)

Sailud De Rasche

Name: Sailud De Rasche (Rasche)

Age: 15-16 326-7 if you count crystal years.

Race: L'cie
Appearance:
Hair: Golden (Light)
Skin: Light Brown
Eyes: Green

He is roughly 5 foot 7 and has a fit build. He wears a solemn expression when in deep thought and loves to smile whenever possible. He has hair barely touching his shoulders and possesses a black tribal tattoo on his left arm. His clothing is odd compared to the garb worn on cocoon. He wears a black t-shirt with the sleeves ripped off. He has black boots of leather hide of animals he wears on his feet, reaching only to his mid foreleg. He wears what looks like an elegant blue silken blanket wrapped around his legs to create pants. While they look like pants of sorts, the layering of the soft robelike cloth reveal that is is only of a material tied and fastened to his legs with belt buckles and knots. The pants fit him almost tightly and he wears a matching blue blanket tied from the pants that wraps around his torso from the back to the front(Think Fang's blue thingy XD). His brand is on his chest in the middle and unseen.

Personality: Rasche is an innocent youth with his actual youth taken away from him. He acts very childish and is constantly in wonder of the things around him. He is nice to everyone and happy to help others while he can. He often likes to stick close to people and happily relies on them whenever he can. You could say that he always needs help for whatever he wants to accomplish. He favors his male role model and older brother Orouba and when in a serious situation he tries to act like him. Rasche is very bold in conversation and actions. He never thinks before he acts and he easily brushes off negativity. Despite his immature nature Rasche is loyal to his friends and is always willing to lend them a helping hand.

Weapons:

Rompalo- A weapon origionally created in his home village it consists of a blade 1 foot long attached to a retractable string which is attached to a handle. (Think a simpler version of Vanille's weapon wih less hooks.) It works as a fishing rod in certain occasions and a more advanced version has another string and blade attached to the other end. To use it, Rasche has to throw and flick his wrist and sometimes his body to move the blades therough the air. As he yanks back on the handle the blades come back towards him. He can use it in battle as a staff with a sharp blade on the end and often uses a combination of kicks and throws of his weapon to pull off a chain of effective attacks.

Elemental Strengths: He's strong against Physical damage and Earth.

Brief History: Sailude De Rasche comes from the village of Sailude. The village resides on the world of Pulse and is known for it's skills in hunting and surviving. When he was just nine years old, Rasche became a L'cie by an unknown Falcie he and his brother encountered on a hunting trip. His focus at the time was to eliminate various villages on his home world of Pulse. With his brother at the time sharing his same focus the two completed the task, wiping out the villages of Saiah, Raleche, and Faouthos at the command of their Fal Cie. As he reached the age of 13 Rasche had been crystalized at least 5 times after every destroyed village and re-awoken. It was at this time that his brother had come to the conclusion that their Fal Cie was an enemy of Pulse and of Cocoon. Between the ages of 13 and 15 Rasche and his brother obeyed their Fal Cie and destroyed many more Pulse villages including Oerba, Adelais, and Rounfur. It was at this point that The Fal Cie had ordered both of the boys to destroy their own village. When this happened the two defied their fal Cie and turned against it, only to get turned to Crystal. Centuries later Rasche reawoke from his crystallised state along with his brother in a Vestige on Cocoon. The two had acquired a new focus which required them to destroy a powerful FalCie which had protected their world.

The two set out on Cocoon to find a way off of the planet but as they did this Rashe's older brother had decided to go back to the Vestige in which they woke on pulse to ask it for help for completing their focus to destroy the powerful Fal Cie they were up against. Rasche spent the next few days alone and with his 16th birthday supposedly coming up he felt a sadness that he would have to spend it alone. Rasche had been left alone, but in doing so he was left in a village which had become caught up in a purge. In a panic, Rasche had become worried as he had never handled a situation like this on his own before, but was caught up on a train with the rest of the purgees...

Name: Hecaton

Summoning Animation: See above

Personality: Hecaton is very strong and courageous. He's very much an opposite to Rasche in personality and constantly cheers him on. He can be very bold and encourages Rasche to try new things in battle. When fighting he often find\s himself watching over Rasche as if the boy was a son. The two have have an unbreakable bond of friendship.
Attacks including magic.

1 - Hecaton usually shoots beams at his enemies which contain non elemental damage. He shoots them while supporting in battle like a machine gun.

2 - Hecaton casts healing magic to cure Rasche when he's down.

3 - Hecaton Picks Rasche up and throws him at the enemy where Rasche will perform a strong physical strike with his weapon.

4 - Hecaton will occasionally block enemy hits coming towards Rasche if the boy is in danger.

Gestalt Mode and attacks during Gestalt Mode.

Attacks- Hecaton uses the same basic attacks as in the game.

Gestalt Mode Attack - The ultimate attack consists of Hecaton, while having Rasche on his back (like Vanille does), jump high into he air and above the clouds where Rasche focuses it's two cannons on the enemy. The two then fall towards the earth and many bullets of unelemental energy is fired as they rocket down and eventually Hecaton crashes on top of the enemy. At the end of this attack Rasche dismounts Hecaton and the summon disappears.

Cloudess

Name: Cloudess
Age: 21
Gender: Female
Race: Human.

Appearance: Cloudess is a 6"1, 150 pound female who has pink hair and wields a very large sword. She wears a lot of make-up and bears a red cape. Her hair is very spiky and she wears a baggy blue shirt, a brown miniskirt and brown boots along with her cape. Usually her facial expression is that of anger or determination. She also wears a very small belt.

Personality: Cloudess is generally quiet. Somehow, people like to look to her as their leader. Cloudess also likes to pretend that she's things that she's not. Unfortunately she is prone to occassionally lie about herself or image things as well. However, she is still looked at as a strong warrior because she is generally consistent.

Weapons: Cloudess bears the Ultima Weapon. The Ultima was created in the War of the Magi. The Ultima is also tied closely to Cloudess' own health, so it is strong when she's strong and weak when she's wounded. The size of the sword is only a little smaller than Cloudess, but she can wield it very well and with speed despite its size and weight. The blade has also been known to change colors depending on Cloudess' health.

Primary Role: Commander.
Secondary Roles: Ravager, Medic.
Eidolon: Shiva.
Elemental Strengths: Ice, Water.

Brief History: Cloudess often got in fights with her sister until she decided to become a soldier. Cloudess wants to be strong because she wants to be like an unnamed villain which she looks up to. Whether she wants to defeat or join this villain is unknown, as is much about her. However Cloudess is also a bit lost in what she wants to do. But she does know she wants to be strong, determined, and wants an excuse to get away from her sister.

Your Eidolons also require a bio.

Name: Shive
Gender: Female

Summoning Animation: At the start of being summoned, Shiva appears in a block of ice and breaks out from it, shattering it. She then dances around gently.

Appearance: Shiva has ice-blue skin and wears a visor over her eyes. Her lips are frosty-blue. Despite all the head-gear she wears, she wears little clothing - simply a thin brown one-piece. Her hair is a deep blue color and a little beyond shoulder-length. Her fingernails are very long, and her boots are leather and intricate-looking.

Personality: (Optional. A personality is not required)

Attacks including magic:
Shiva can blow a kiss to cause damage.
She can also cast Blizzard, Blizarra, and should she have a lot of power/MP and really need to... Blizzaga.
She can also heal herself and Cloudess should she need to, but this can affect her awareness so she doesn't do it too often.

Gestalt Mode and attacks during Gestalt Mode.
Gestalt Mode: Ice-Bird.
Shiva turns into a bird of the mountains called Ice-Bird and casts Blizzaga relentlessly for a half a minute. Afterward, Ice-Bird needs time to recover and is vulnerable to any magic attacks attacks that aren't of the Ice element, should its foes still be alive. Ice-Bird can also cast counter-attack on itself, but this takes several seconds. Once counter-attack is enabled, Ice-Bird can attack back quickly at its foe whenever attacked without losing any awareness or its track in the battle, although the attack is less powerful than the one the foe had done.

Name: Renton Skyzar


Age: 16


Gender: Male


Race: Human, who becomes a L'cie


Appearance:Standing at 5'4'', with strawberry blond hair and green eyes, Renton is what you'd describe as a "punk". He wears t-shirts with various band logos popular on Cocoon, which change has he grows out of the current "band phase", as he calls it, he is in. Currently, he is addicted to "Ragnarok Cometh", a heavy metal band from Palumpolum, and as such is wearing their shirt when his adventure begins. His pants of choice are baggy shorts, usually with too many pockets, and an off-center belt that hangs uncaring from the right side of his belt loops. The belt, mind you, is studded. What completes his clothes of choice is anklets (ankle socks) and black shoes that are similar to Converse.

He has what people describe as a "baby face" in insult; he looks younger than what his actual age is. The youngest he has been told he looks is around 12-13, which severely pisses him off. His hair is either spiked up with tons of gel, or is worn at medium-length in layers, and is let down. When the adventure begins, his hair of choice is the medium-length cut.



Personality: Renton is absolutely, 100%, impulsive, rude, and a right...well...punk. He rarely listens to authority, and constantly acts out against his Mom and Dad. He runs off at all hours of the day, skips school constantly, and harasses anyone that he may come across simply because he can. As a result, he has gotten into one too many fights. Despite his small size, however, he can hold his own, even if he can't totally obliterate his classmates. He has a very large courage streak, as he will run head-on into any danger despite the consequences simply because he finds it fun, or does it to spite anyone that may tell him otherwise. He doesn't like people pointing out that he is small, or a boy, or when he is wrong. He will rage.


Weapon: Enigma Nodes. These two orbs attach to the wrist of the user and channel the user's magical energy into shots of magical bursts. As a result, the user's MAG attack is extremely high; a drawback to the Enigma Nodes is that the user STR plummets to a whopping zilch, they become very susceptible to physical attacks, and become utterly useless if they are any way prevented from using their ranged bursts or magic.

Secondary Roles: Synergist and Saboteur


Eidolon:Bahamut


Elemental Strengths: Non-elemental. A jack of all elements, but a master of none. He is only able to use up to the -ra versions of the elemental spells, but is able to reach -aga of "Aero". Is also able to use the Ruin and Ruinga spells that are tailored for the Commando class as a Ravager. Possibly able to cast Flare and Ultima.


Brief History:Renton was born in the seaside town of Bodhum, a resort town that is host to a very tropical and resort-like atmosphere. Having what one would describe as a beach house, he is almost constantly seen hanging around the seaside bar and docks.

His parents are pretty high up on the income scale. His Mom works at the local high school in Bodhum, while his Dad works as an Efficiency Researcher for the Euride Gorge Plant (although, he is usually works from home and only makes inspection trips to the Plant). They are both usually busy, and tend to let Renton keep to himself - something that makes him strive for attention, and hate his parents, in a sense.

He usually spends his time with his one friend, Loan Turnst, who tends to even out and calm Renton's rebellious and illogical side. That still doesn't prevent him from taking part in many of Renton's outrageously destructive ideas.



Name:Bahamut


Gender: Male


Summoning Animation: Renton leaps into the air and tosses the crystal containing his Eidolon onto the ground, which immediately breaks and expands into his signature crystal design (a rather large blooming sunflower, surrounded by four large glyphs with arcane writing on them) as he plummets back down towards the earth. A flash of light escapes from the sunflower as Bahamut bursts through, grabbing Renton before he hits the ground, planting him firmly on his back. Bahamut does a arc in the air, returning to the ground and letting Renton gently off. Renton and Bahamut then stare intensely at the enemies...before they start to rape them with attacks.


Appearance: Bahamut doesn't stand on his hind legs like an anthropomorphic creature. Instead, he is a full-on dragon, much like the ones from Eragon. Or any dragon movie. You get my drift. Bahamut's body is covered in hard-as-rock scales that are of a grayish-blue variety; as the scales reach the top of the tail, the end of his arms and legs, and his neck, they jut out like earthen spires - sharp, like knives. Small hieroglyphic-like writing lay scattered across his body, ending in a image/world spiral that wraps around the fleshy grayish-blue tail. Bahamut's wings jut out from under the rock hard scales, expanding into a cacophony of random colors. His wings are a collage of colors, which change depending on how the light shines on them. At the tip of his tail, a feather, with three glowing orbs hanging off of it.



Attacks, including magic:
-Can cast all versions of the elemental magic and non-elemental magic, making up for his L'cie's inability to. However, after using an "-aga" spell, Bahamut must recharge; this leaves him open to attack.

-Bahamut can regenerate the scales on his body. If he is hit with a large enough attack, his scales can be "blown off", leaving him more vulnerable to physical and magical attacks. In this state, his attacks can be canceled. This works somewhat like the "Regenerating Carapace". He is more likely to enter this vulnerable state while in recharge mode (see ability above).

-Bahamut's Combo Attack: Deep Dive + Ruined Layer + Hurricane Wing + Deep Dive. Deep Dive, Bahamut flies into the air and then plummets down and does a sweep attack on all enemies on the field. Ruined Layer, Bahamut incinerates all enemies with a blue flame, which knocks them away from him and the L'cie. Hurricane Wing, Bahamut flaps his wings and sends a shockwave across the ground, knocking anyone in the vicinity in the air. Each of these can be used separately, as well.

-Dragonic Shield: Acts as cover support. Bahamut can shield Renton from damage, while taking increased damage on himself. In retrospect, this can cause Bahamut to become vulnerable via scale destruction, so cannot be used for a long period of time.


-Bahamut can cure Renton with Curaga if he is in dire need. Otherwise, he moreso focuses on assaulting the enemy, or keeping Renton safe.



Gestalt Mode: Hoverboard
Bahamut transforms himself into a hoverboard. At the front of the hoverboard Bahamut's head remains, with his tail as the end, which creates a nice aerodynamic aspect. Renton's feet are secured through straps that appear out of the board's design. Also at the back of the board, not interferring with the tail, are two "boosters" which expel a rainbow-colored flame, a homage to Bahamut's wings.



Gestalt Attacks:

-Spinning Sweep: Renton plummets down towards enemies and spins around like a tornado to deal damage before flying back into the air.

-Booster Burn: Renton turns his back to the enemies and sends the boosters into overdrive, scathing enemies with rainbow flames.

-Flare Burst: Bahamut's head sends three concentrated orbs of blue fire onto his enemies, which invoke mini-explosions on the ground.

-Dragon Chomp: Renton flies head-on into enemies, allowing Bahamut's head to bite and snarl his prey into submission.

-Neon Flare: The final attack; Renton stops in mid-air and shows the bottom of the board to his enemies; three square holes open on the bottom, each producing a small cannon. After a snap from Renton, the cannons begin to charge, and then eventually emits three searing multi-colored beams which, before reaching the ground, converge into one large attack. When it hits the ground, it expands into a giant explosive field of energy (much like an EM Field, or a Pulse Grenade from Fallout 3), which damages all enemies inside.

Race: Human, becomes a L'Cie during course of RP

Appearance: Wears a full whitish grey military uniform and brown leather boots, there are two small belts tightening his trousers to his legs and a two tailed jacket over his shirt, which is buttoned over it. His weapon is held by the belt around his waist. His hair is cut short and is light brown in colour with dark brown leather gloves covering his hands, on his right upper arm is the Sanctum military crest which when he becomes a L'Cie will be burned off as his Brand replaces it's location, taking on the form of skeletal wings. He stands at exactly 6ft and has a somewhat slim build, any body muscle is hidden behind his uniform, he has a lightly pale skin tone with light green eyes, if ever his back was shown he has a V shaped scar on his right shoulderblade.


Personality: Almost blindly loyal to the Sanctum, his main goals are to keep the public safe from the monsters of Pulse and carry out his duties to the best of his abilities. Outside of his work life he devotes himself to training, not allowing himself to become too weak to protect people though this does not make him a people person, his attitude can be somewhat stressed around civilians and can quickly become enraged if his orders aren't obeyed. He is more tolerable when civilians obey his commands under dangerous conditions as he prefers a mission to go smoothly whenever possible. He does not believe civilians should ever engage in combat, if any ever do he condemns them to defend themselves, believing those who take up the sword should expect a quick death in battle, himself included, believing a civilian with such delusions of grandeur a casualty of their own idiocy.


Weapons: He weilds a mid-weight saber with a thick back, for added weight. The blade itself makes up half of the size of the sword while the rest consists of the reinforced back and the handle. The blade has no colourings on it, retaining it's original metal colour while the back has a red honeycomb engraved design and the handle is metal with a black leather grip over it. The sword itself measures roughly 5ft in length, the back is 4 inches thick and the handle is long enough to manage a 2 handed grip.

Brief History: As a youth, David played the role of 'man of the house' and as a big brother for his mother, father and brother. Growing up he had to take responsibilities for everyone before he even had responsibility for himself, his mother was old and crippled to a wheelchair before he became a teenager and his sister had a weak constitution while his father was an alcoholic who rarely came home unless he wanted money. Through school and day to day life he had to stay indoors watching his family, his time for study being limited to when everyone was asleep, as a result he grew strict, intolerant and firm in his desire for knowledge.


When it neared graduation from school for him and his sister they were attacked by Pulse Monsters that broke through the surface, when the Sanctum forces started to repel what monsters they could the civilians, himself included were pushed into escape crafts though when a Behemoth broke through the ranks and charged them, his sister pushed him onto the craft and with the door sealing instantly he was forced to watch helplessly as his sister was ripped apart by the monsters. He later heard his mother didn't make it either, leaving him at home with his Father who started coming home drunk more often, often taking out his anger on him.


After a year of this he decided that his family were dead and enrolled in the Sanctum military academy, his prime motivation to make sure nobody had to witness what he did, that he would protect everyone till his strength left him. After a few years he passed with flying colours, even gaining respect enough to command his own unit right from the start despite his inexperience.


Starting out he was almost flawless, due to his added knowledge he had from his academy training which while he had little experience in performing he did have the theory worked out, minimising casualties in incidents and producing as effective results as he could. He was soon stationed in the Guardian Corps, an area he felt most suited to his ambitions and motivations, this was quickly shown with his far greater results from completing missions, helping him rise through the ranks at an increased pace.

Though while the Guardian Corps was a suitable area for him, he soon heard a rumour that the higher ups of the Sanctum had created a new program to protect the citizens of Cocoon, 'the Purge' a method of transporting civilians believed to have contracted the 'taint' of Pulse and to remove them from Cocoon to protect the rest of Cocoon. Apparently two other Purges had already taken place, out of curiosity to see how the 'Purge' was performed as well as to see if such a sacrifice was truly worthwhile he requested a transfer from his Commanding Officer to patrol the next Purge train.

Name: Leviathan
Gender: Female

Summoning Animation: A small pool of water appears on the ground as Leviathan charges from it, opening up her wings and hovers above the ground, wrapping the majority of it's tail around itself.

Appearance: Takes on the appearance of a giant serpent with sea-blue scales and wings. Her head looks more dragon-like with blades on the sides of her face, the rest of her body is unremarkable save for the double bladed, crescent moon battleaxe-shaped blade on her tail.


Personality: Like the sea, her personality can shift from one of a calm sea to a raging storm, depending on the circumstances. She can be a voice of reason as well as a destroyer in regard to enemies as well as being a guiding hand and a bully to her master depending on her mood. She does not tolerate the weak and loathes the defeatist man while taking pride in strong warriors who never stop fighting for what they believe in with death being far from a concern.

Whirlpool: Causes constant water damage in the form of a partial choking effect (non lethal, but it will impede breathing/energy output and eventually incapacitate the target) as well as impeding movement to some extent and not allowing high jumping.
Water Torrent: Fires a jet of water from her mouth, packing enough punch to knock even the heaviest objects aside.


Gestalt Mode: Leviathan curls her body around David, wrapping him into a sphere with her body while the head remains above, keeping David shielded while she can barrage opponents with attacks.


Gestalt Attacks:
Waterga Blast: A stronger version of Waterga with almost double the range.

Rocket Blast: Fires numerous rockets into the air as they track and lock on to individual targets, dealing earth damage. The number of enemies determines the rocket quantity, homing is strong but can be avoided with an obstacle or ranged attack
Tail Swipe: Uncoils her body and spins her entire body in a 360 arc, greater range than Shunning Blast but less knockback.

Tsunami: Summons a giant wave of water, overwhelming anything in it's path. Can incapacitate enemies and send them far from the area.

Standing at 5'2" tall. Jeanne has long and straight brown hair that is tied into a ponytail. She has cold, icy blue rounded eyes. She is petit in size, and while her weight is not disclosed, it is roughly close to around 110-120 lbs.

Jeanne wears a lavender and white bomber jacket with white fur lining the collar. Underneath this is a black tanktop shirt that is not fully zipped up all the way. Jeanne wears pink "short-shorts" with a pink belt, as well as long black leggings and white sneakers with black and light blue designs on them. When she becomes an l'Cie her brand would be located on her hand, the mark is shaped in the form of an apple.

Personality:
Jeanne acts as a motherly figure to her group, a resistance movement against the Sanctum Military. While she's not the groups leader, she always makes sure to protect them with all her strength. She always serves as a mediator, trying to prevent infighting between her comrades and can be bossy at times. But overall she's gentle, and kind.

Jeanne also one to have her quirks, she tends to be forgetful at times and tends to put herself in needless danger. Despite these quirks, Jeanne's team admires her as a pillar of support.

Weapon:
Jeanne's weapon of choice is a pair of weapons known as Gun-Daggers. Utilizing the same technology as Gunblades, these weapons are capable of switching between a Gun-mode (essentially a Sub-Machine Gun) and a Blade-mode. What is notable about these Gun-Daggers is that they are Bifurcated, they are essentialy two halves of one weapon, which can be combined into a swallow blade in it's Blade-mode, or a double-barreled semi-automatic rifle in its Gun-mode. The blades are 45 cm each (18 inches)

Brief History:
Jeanne was born in the Pulse city of Bodhum. Ever since she was young, she always looked up into the sky always wishing in the midst of the beautiful fireworks. When she was 17, Jeanne joined a group known as NORA. NORA was, in the public eye, a sporting club (Jeanne was good with the Hoverbike and a an accomplished pilot) though they were also the neighborhood watch, protecting their home from any encroaching monsters in the city. As a result of this and the fact they never openly acted out against Sanctum, they never had any trouble with them.

It wasn't until 5 years later that Sanctum declared the people of the town to be "contaminated" by Pulse and attempted to Purge them. Though Jeanne and several of their members managed to escape captivity, their comrades and the entire population who was there in the incident were not so fortunate. The NORA leader decided to fight back, first and foremost to stop the Purge trains. It is here that her story begins.

Name: Quezacoatl

Summon Animation:
Jeanne forms a crystal that contains her Eidolon in her hand and tosses it into the sky like a grenade, the Eidolon shoots up into the sky as dark clouds form around. An electrical field forms in the clouds in the shape of Jeanne's crystal, an apple. The field contracts and shoots down a great bolt of Lightning behind her. From the Lightning bolt, Quezacoatl appears, with Jeanne doing a backflip onto her summon's open hand, and is placed onto Quezacoatl's shoulder.

Appearance:
Quezacoatl takes on a more humanoid appearance than his previous incarnations. She appears as an angelic being, her body is covered in green-brown reptilian scales all over with the exception being her head which is the head of a bald eagle. She wears an Aztec-type armor that covers all of her body except her limbs and head. The Armor is green in color, almost matching the color of her scales. She also has bird wings that are brown in color.

As is in her normal form, she is weak to Water-elemental attacks.

Appearance: Elicia is roughly 5’4” in height, and is ghostly pale. The years have not been kind to her complexion, although her skin unblemished – she appears to be no older than twenty-three, and is often mistaken to be younger than that, although her face is almost entirely constructed of sharp angles, due to her ethnic origin and actual age. She appears quite exotic by today’s standards. She has grey eyes and bloodless lips, giving the impression that is severely anaemic. She has short-cut white hair which falls down just past her ears but not quite to her shoulders, and a petite figure.

When mixing with others, Elicia wears a white cotton trench coat that falls down to around her knees, cinched at the waist by a matching belt, which also acts as a holster for her pistol. Slightly below this, across her hips, is a second belt, this one of leather, which she keeps her rapier’s scabbard attached to. She will often have the buttons of her coat undone. Underneath this she wears a simple white blouse which covers her upper torso, leaving her midriff (and, if she is not wearing her coat, her arms as well) exposed. Her right arm is wrapped almost entirely in bandages, as her l’Cie brand starts at the shoulder and ends at the wrist, and on her left arm she has tied a simple red ribbon, which was a gift from her fiancé when they first met. She wears black jeans that are relatively snug and black, military-style boots which reach up to around mid-calf. She wears white fingerless gloves, a plain gold ring on her right hand’s index finger – her engagement ring – and a crystal the size of a bullet around her neck, which she uses to summon her Eidolon.

Publicly, Elicia conceals her appearance entirely. She wears a full-length white robe, keeping the hood up at all times. She covers her face with a matching white mask, marked with a single red slash over the left eye. Underneath this robe she wears her civilian clothing, minus the cotton coat.

Personality: Elicia possesses an almost supernatural calm and self-confidence. Externally, she appears to be emotionless, often monstrous. She keeps herself apart from others, because she is now both more and less than they are. She is coldly pragmatic about everything, and sees no point in complicating matters with ideas such as morality or possibilities: she has the power and influence to see her will enforced, and it shall be so. She knows what is best for humanity, and she will sacrifice anything and everything to see her vision of the world as it should be come to pass. Her way is the way forward. People can fall in line, or they can be destroyed.

Elicia has something of a messiah complex – whilst her Fal’Cie has given her the Focus of hunting down and eliminating all other Fal’Cie for its own personal gain, she largely ignores this, and does it for her own reasons: she sees the Fal’Cie as a plague and their l’Cie pawns as humans who are already dead. She sees herself as humanity’s saviour, despite her own state of being as a l’Cie, and her strength of will and convictions are so strong that she has actually resisted being turned into a Cieth and a crystal by her Fal’Cie, although she cannot win free of her benefactor completely…yet.

Elicia is a firm believer in the ends justifying the means: in the war against the Fal’Cie – her war, and nobody else’s – everyone and everything is expedient. Nothing matters, other than that they all die. Not her, not what she does, and not how many lives are lost in the process. Human sacrifices are to be expected. It is better to die a human than to live as a l’Cie. This is her justification for the Purges that she orders, and she has had to execute several of her officers to see it through, displaying a ruthlessness made all the more intense and terrifying for her complete detachment – it is just something that has to be done to her.

She is not above plotting and manipulation, having kept l’Cie alive in the past when she has believed that their Focus may serve her own and being capable enough to become the leader of Cocoon, but prefers a more direct method when dealing with what she sees as monsters that are unfit to walk the planet. Her direct manner has earned her a particular edge in politics: with Elicia, what you see is what you get, and she reveals very little. She is an enigma and, whilst she isn’t particularly well-liked, she is undeniably efficient in her duties, and demands a grudging respect.
Despite her claims that she is acting in humanity’s best interests, Elicia is something of a control freak: she does not approve of independent thought. Her orders are to be obeyed, because she knows what is best for humanity. If humanity were able to take care of itself, there would be no reason for her to exist. As things stand, she expects her orders to be followed instantly and to the letter, and any who defy her are killed – something that she sees as merciful, for at least she is not giving them a gross mockery of life by turning them into l’Cie. What she does, she does for humanity: people do not need to understand it or even like it, they only need to obey. There will be time for independence after the war is over. She is both selfless and entirely self-absorbed: she cares nothing for what humanity thinks of her, yet she acts entirely for them.

Elicia’s control of herself is very tightly wound, and there are occasions – particularly in the heat of battle – where that control slips. When it does, she becomes exactly what she believes she is trying to destroy: a mindless monster, indiscriminately destructive. Bottling up rage, frustration and an overwhelming sense of helplessness is not healthy, and Elicia has five centuries of this waging a constant war with her sanity. She hovers on the edge of madness, and whilst she has but only peeked over that abyss a few times in her life, all it would take is one small push to send her spiralling over the edge completely – something her Fal’Cie has been trying to achieve for the better part of three centuries.

Weapons: Elicia’s primary weapon is an antique rapier, which she has named, ironically, “Peacekeeper” . It was a gift to her from the Fal’Cie, and has been invested so that it can penetrate any and all Fal’Cie defences, allowing her to deliver killing blows…once she has subdued them, at least. She carries this in a scabbard of equally antique design, strapped to her left side. She also carries a standard-issue PSICOM machine pistol, which resides in a holster situated on her left buttock, and a serrated combat knife, strapped to her right boot.

Elemental Strengths: None. Elicia is an all-rounder, and has no glaring elemental strengths or weaknesses. She has not, however, mastered third-tier magic…yet.

Brief History: Elicia was born forty-seven years before the War of Transgression on Cocoon, in one of the more modest settlements. She had a happy, healthy childhood – although she didn’t see as much of her parents as she would have liked – and never faced any particular difficulties with her education or employment. She met her fiancé, Jorus, when she was twenty-one, and she was eventually promoted to the position of Mining Director of the Mah’habara Subterra through her own abilities, despite her family’s connections.

However, during an examination of some new tunnels, she discovered some extremely powerful magical wards. It took her several hours, but she eventually succeeded in destroying the wards, believing them to be guarding some sort of ancient technology, or even a burial ground. Unfortunately for her, they were designed to keep a Fal’Cie captive. Once freed, it immediately made her a l’Cie, with the Focus of hunting down the others who had imprisoned it there and killing them. A worker at the base of the tunnel heard the entire exchange, and reported it immediately. For the next eight years, Elicia was a hunted woman. Her life had been destroyed immediately by a Fal’Cie she had rescued from its eternal prison: she had lost her job, her fiancé, her family, and even her humanity. She was quickly consumed by hatred and, rather than attempt to fulfil her Focus, she spent much of the time hunting for the Fal’Cie that had betrayed her, although her trail inevitably led her to other Fal’Cie, which she promptly killed out of anger, and l’Cie, whom she killed out of mercy.

It took her almost twenty years, but Elicia finally succeeded in hunting down the Fal’Cie who turned her into a l’Cie, and was promptly overwhelmed by it. Refusing to fulfil her Focus, the Fal’Cie decided to turn her into a Cieth…and failed. Although she could not damage it – she still did not have her Eidolon, and it had wisely given her powers that it was immune to – worried that she would eventually become stronger and discover her Eidolon in her frustration, it fled, promising a release when she fulfilled her Focus. However, that was no longer good enough for Elicia. Worn out and broken, she gave up on revenge: she would instead hunt down and kill every Fal’Cie and l’Cie not for herself, but because they were a blight upon the planet, and needed to be hunted down and exterminated. Fal’Cie relied upon humans, and l’Cie were already dead, having been turned into their pawns.

During the War of Transgression, Elicia vanished entirely. However, multiple Fal’Cie from both sides were found killed, with no apparent culprit in sight, and no clue about how they reached them or even accomplished the feat. Some combatants reported seeing a flying castle, firing threads of fire indiscriminately, although none dared get close enough to verify what they had seen. Wherever it went, however, it brought death to nearby Fal’Cie and, although search parties were sent out to find it, none found even a trace of it. Elicia had found her Eidolon, and was killing every Fal’Cie and l’Cie she could find. Unfortunately for her, her Fal’Cie did not take part in the war, and she did not encounter it again. However, as time went by, she did not age, and began to hear it’s voice in her mind, as her powers began to develop – to a point. Whilst it could not turn her into a Cieth or a crystal, the Fal’Cie could evidently limit her magical ability at will, making it just enough to kill other Fal’Cie, but not enough to threaten itself. She has been working on a way to counteract this for some time now.

Elicia has been turned to crystal three times over the centuries: whilst she successfully fended it off after killing her first Fal’Cie, she was exhausted from the effort, and collapsed. She woke up nearly a decade later, naked and in the middle of a blizzard. She was crystallized a second time shortly afterwards, as she decided to let a Fal’Cie she had tracked live out of spite. She was kept in crystal for nearly two centuries after that, then revived for a third time to kill off the Fal’Cie that were beginning to take a more active involvement in human society.

Since then, she has since become a very light sleeper, preferring to meditate at night instead of sleep. She has been threatened with crystallization twice since then, although she suspects it is more of a reminder than an actual threat. More recently, Elicia decided to take a different tactic to flushing out the Fal’Cie and their l’Cie pawns. It took her eleven years, but she finally became the leader of Cocoon, protector the human race. Five centuries with nothing but a single goal and the voice of a Fal’Cie for company had robbed her of what little humanity she clung to, although it had served only to strengthen her resolve, and she began instigating Purges in an effort to flush out Fal’Cie. She would plant herself in the middle a Purge, using her instincts to locate the Fal’Cie, and then kill it, along with its new l’Cie pawns. The first time, she allowed the l’Cie to fulfil their Focus (much to the fury of her Fal’Cie) and took their crystallized forms as trophies, and for safekeeping. The second time, she killed the new l’Cie immediately, once she found out that their Focus was to eliminate her. Now, she believes the time is ripe for a third Purge…

Summoning Animation: Elicia raises her crystal pendant to her lips, then gently removes it and throws it into the air. Sunlight bursts through the darkened sky, refracting off the crystal in a multitude of colours before it shatters, emitting a blinding burst of light, through which Ultima appears.

-Prismatic Missiles: Ultima calls down a blinding array of crystallised light energy. Individual hits do weak damage, but hits all opponents multiple times.

Gestalt Mode and attacks during Gestalt Mode: Gestalt Mode is a flying castle. Ultima’s torso withtracts into the body, giving rise instead to several towers. The wings lengthen and become more broad, and several cannons appear from the inside. Elicia leaps into the air, and is drawn to the highest room of the tallest tower, where she can overlook the battle.

Attacks:
- Redemption – Ultima unleashes a barrage of blinding lasers which streak across the battlefield, striking all enemies for medium fire-based damage.
- Light of Judgement – Ultima illuminates the battlefield with a piercing light, inflicting a random status ailment on all opponents.
-Heaven’s Wrath – Blasts an opponent with front-mounted cannons, inflicting non-elemental damage.
- Holy Bastion – Casts Brave, Faith, Protect and Shell on an ally.
- Eschaton (finisher) – Ultima rises into the atmosphere, far above enemy reach. The bottom of the castle opens, revealing her torso wrapped around a giant cannon. This cannon steadily charges, before eventually releasing a devastating beam of pure light energy. This energy strikes the battlefield below, creating a devastating chain of explosions.

Race: Human to become a L'cie

Appearance: Alexander is exactly 6’ in height. As he has been a soldier for several years, PSICOM's training schedules have built his body up to be a fairly decent size, and made him fairly physically strong. A number of injuries have left their marks, including a scar on his left cheek.

He would normally wear a standard PSICOM uniform, but on his days off he wears a plain black shirt, as well as a pair of fairly baggy black jeans, and black plimsoll type shoes. On his left hand he wears a platinum ring with a black stone set into the centre of the band.

He also wears an old leather belt with a scabbard and holster at all times, whether working or not. In the holster is a standard issue PSICOM machine pistol and in the scabbard, a sword, of simple design, with a plain hilt and hand guard.

Personality: Trained in medical skills, he can be considered fairly compassionate, for a soldier. When needed he is able to push all emotion aside and concentrate entirely on the fight in hand.

However recently he has become less and less sure about the reasons that he fights for. As far as he is concerned the purge seems a little extreme, but he plays along, as after all, he has spent time getting to know these people, fighting alongside them and even in some cases healing or strengthening them against enemies, and has become a comrade to many of them at heart.


Weapons: A standard issue PSICOM pistol, in a holster on his left hip. On the other side, in an old scabbard sits a sword of plain design, nothing fancy about it. Though secretly it is charged with a holy power and can be used more effectively than the most intricately or specially designed sword in combat.

Eidolon: Alexander

Elemental Strengths: Holy.

Brief History: Alexander was born and raised on Cocoon. He and his family moved from place to place, living for a little time in several areas. (Forgive me FFXIII knowledge is a little sketchy with regards to inside Cocoon)

As he grew older he found an aptitude for a variety of different skills. He was able to fight, not only bare-handed, but he discovred skills with a blade and pistol. Also, he took part in several medical courses in order to learn more than basic first aid abilities.

Since then he has joined the army, and is a part of PSICOM. He knows much of the history of both PSICOM and Cocoon, and does not agree with all of it, but he forces these feelings down, and makes himself ignore them, in order to continue fighting alongside people he now feels to be friends and comrades, despite what they may have done in the past. His time as part of PSICOM has provided him with a manadrive. This allows him to make extreme leaps or even survive great falls, as they literally manipulate matter as he moves towards or away from it, depending on what the situation requires.

Eidolon:

Name: Alexander


Gender: Male


Summoning Animation: Alexander (or whichever L'cie summons the Eidolon) raises his hand to the sky, a single beam of light focusing directly down to his outstretched fingers. The light begins to glow bright as the clouds above begin to part. From the sky above, an enourmous golden and silver metal construct descends from the sky. Alexander lands to the side of his L'cie standing almost to attention, before prepring for battle.

Appearance: As per FFXIII.

Attacks including magic:

-Whilst fighting in his normal form, Alexander uses a mixture of his enourmous size and considerable weight to literally beat enemies to death. As well as this is is able to challenge enemies by blocking access to his L'cie summoner, which enrages them, and forces them to attack the Eidolon itself.

-Soaring Uppercut: Taking a massive swing upwards Alexander strikes the enmy from down low. This can cause all but the most powerful of enemies to be sent flying into the air.

Blast Punch: Being a robotic man, witihn his wrists are located several rechargable rocket boosters, which force his entire fist away from his arm and high speeds, before slamming into an enemy. These are then drawn back by some combination of magic and force of will.

Gestalt Mode and attacks during Gestalt Mode:

When entering Gestalt mode, Alexander glows an extremely bright white before apparently exploding into thousands of glowing white feathers. Each of these feathers then floats through the air before reforming around his L'cie summoner as a large pair of shimmering white wings (as per FF9 Alexandria castle). These allow him to both float marginally above the ground as well as protect those around him from incoming attacks, whilst increasing his weakness to wind based attacks.

Attacks:
-Purification: The wings surrounding the L'cie glow even brighter than before, and a number of bursts of holy light fly towards multiple enemies.

- Brutal Sanction: From the centre of each wing a searing beam of bright light is projected towards a single enemy inflicting Holy damage
.
-Retributive Blast: The wings clap together with an almighty sound, causing a shockwave to form dircetly in front of Alexander. This hits anything in it's direct path.

-Divine Judgement: The wings glow impossibly bright, before focusing all of their energy directly through the L'cie. All of Alexander's holy power is forced into a single beam of holy judgement causing massive damage to anything that it hits. This beam travels in a direct path from the pointing finger of the L'cie. This then banishes the Eidolon.

Lani is an average teenager, coming to 5'10" in height, with straight black hair reaching her mid back and pale skinned. She has light brown eyes, but following the popular cosmetic trend, wears coloured eye contacts, opting for a light pink that manages to compliment her well enough. Thin black eyebrows hover over her eyes. Finally, a small nose and mouth grace her visage.

She wears black leggings under a mid-thigh black skirt and a simple white v-neck t-shirt, but wears a thin, faux fur collared red button coat she usually leaves open. Adorning her feet are simple brown sneakers with thick soles (she walks often). Finally, large, white head phones can often be seen around her neck when not in use.

Personality
Lani is self absorbed with her own life, interests, and issues. Not selfish per se, but thinks in the moment, and how it would affect her first. As a Cocoon citizen, she has the "l'cie are evil" mentality to an extent. Doesn't fear them, but fears the consequences of being near them. But on the contrary, she has an inkling desire to be "part of the group". She has casual acquaintances at school and life, but it would be a stretch to call them friends.

(My idea for character development was to eventually have her care for others more which would hopefully in turn have others care for her-cliches ftw xD)

Brief History
Lani is a high school student on Cocoon. While the prevalent fear and prejudice exists for those who may be tainted by Pulse fal'cie or l'cie and sent to be purged, Lani pays little attention to such matters and merely focuses on the moment. She only aims for average grades at school, more preoccupied with matters of family on the home front.

She has a mother, father and an older brother-and also the source of issues at home currently. While she cares for her parents and know her parents love her, Lani feels most close to her brother (onii-san complex? ) so the issues at home are troubling her.

When she's not at school, she tries to occupy her time away from home, visiting the mall, frequenting her favourite shops (what the hell; she likes manga and music and, uh, candy <_< >_>), or merely walking around until her curfew. When all else fails, she goes online or plays video games.

While Lani can be friendly and polite with others, she rarely makes any connections, so whatever social activities go on, she's rarely invited. Not as a snub to her, but truly because people wouldn't think to ask her.

As mentioned, she goes online, and has a more active online life though. Frequenting forums, Lani posts her thoughts an ideas via her user name "tonare" which she doesn't bother to change for other forums.

Odin won't say much, but he'll do his best to protect his l'cie host(?). His protective feelings are better conveyed in battle, but the few words he speaks just has all the more impact. If he's harsh or disappointed, he'll merely disappear from his host's mind for a time, disconnecting what would be a comfortable connection between him and his host. If he's pleased or proud, he can convey the feelings.

In accordance with the Wide Area Response Brigade’s uniform, Brigadier General Wisel possesses the similar light lapis blue of her Cavalry members. She dons similar battle armour to Cavalry infantrymen, though with the addition of golden streams of photon emanating from the core on her back that serves to enhance her physical capabilities. Her gauntlets and boots are a combination of lapis blue and silver while the core on her back resembles a small-unit jetpack while her breastplate is adorned with the emblem of Pisces in gold. Wisel does not sport a helmet like her comrades and instead has a metallic headband-like device that fits round her head with a microphone protruding from it and a button that when pressed instantly forms a translucent black visor in front of her eyes.

Wisel is rarely seen without her armour, and is often seen with the visor activated when conducting a mission or is outside of the Archadia airship. She is approximately 5’6” in height and slim in figure even with the semi-bulky battle armour. Her hair is radiantly blonde and neck-length with no fringe, while her eyes are unmistakably deep ocean blue in colour. It is often rumoured by the Cavalry infantrymen that Wisel’s strange incessant refusal to remove her right gauntlet was an indication that she bears a horrific injury to her right hand (which she incidentally rarely uses much, being a left-hander), though in reality the gauntlet conceals her L’Cie branding – a branding she considers a monstrous tattoo that she refuses to even lay her eyes on, labelling it a “Cursed Mark”.

Personality: What is conspicuous about Wisel’s character is her sheer dedication. Publicly she never objects, interjects or openly criticise her superiors. She would toe the line and get her jobs done. It was perhaps no surprise then that she climbed the ranks of the military quickly, becoming a Guardian Corps commander before shifting over to the Wide Area Response regiment. Nevertheless, she isn’t an aloof figure and does enjoy the company of others particularly among her peers. While often quiet and focused on the battlefield, when she is inside the Archadia, she is shown to be a person eager to converse with others, to find out more about others and rather oddly, discover more about the world that lay beyond Cocoon. At least – that was her character until her fateful encounter with one of the Sanctum Fal’Cie.

What she has never been open about is her Focus. After being branded by a mysterious Fal’Cie during a moment of haziness that she could hardly recall, she has become far more detached, choosing to be alone rather than socialising with her Cavalry peers. The experience has left her particularly bitter about her fate, her fate as a human, and how fragile humans are in comparison to their Fal’Cie masters. She refuses to even glance at her brand. To her it is a constant reminder of the Fal’Cie, the beings who have taken her humanity. She sees it with incessant scorn and conceals it beneath her gauntlet, choosing to defy whatever her Focus may be and look to a new future for mankind; a future where mankind would not need to be governed and sustained by the Fal’Cie. She wanted mankind to grow independent, to stand on its own two feet and accomplish things that the Fal’Cie would never dream of. Her embitterment has led her to come to the conclusion that for the better of man, the Fal’Cie must be deposed and Cocoon handed back to the people. In the battlefield she heavily considers the wellbeing of her comrades, opting to retreat rather than needlessly sacrifice lives, a tactic that has often led to her in brief clashes with other Cavalrymen. She is a strong follower of the Categorical Imperative principal. Innocents and comrades are never a means to her ends. A woman so dedicated to both her mission and the wellbeing of others, she is not about to stay idle and allow the Fal’Cie to turn humans into their puppets.

As well as her desire to protect people and to see them as ends rather than means to an ends, Wisel harbours deep admiration for her mother who willingly died in order for her to be born. Wisel has never known her mother, but looks on her like a martyr, an example of the benevolent nature of humanity.

Weapons: Equipped with photon streams, Wisel’s physical capabilities are heavily enhanced, providing her with superhuman strength and the ability to execute for up to 10 seconds maximum a rapid array of melee attacks at the blink of an eye on an opponent (known as Photon Drive). Overuse of photons however, causes the armour to overheat, where a cool-down period lasts up to a minute and can leave her vulnerable if unprepared. In addition to her photon-enhanced melee capabilities, she carries a short gunblade with a Manadrive core attached allowing her to use an artificial form of magic that is sanctioned by the military. Due to the fact that any use of L’Cie magic on the battlefield would immediately expose her as a L’Cie, she publicly relies on her Manadrive Blade for magical capabilities. Like her photon streams, if too much of the Manadrive core is used at once, it requires a minute or two to recharge.

Brief History: Wisel was born in Eden city. Her mother, suffering a rare condition that meant childbirth would instantly kill her, quickly died just after she was born. Brought up by foster parents in Palumpolum, they informed Wisel of her mother’s bravery in going ahead with the childbirth. She was willing sacrifice her life so that her unborn daughter could come out into the world and live. For the whole of her life, she has bore an incessant admiration for her mother, quietly promising to her that she would be as brave as her and protect people so that they need not have their lives torn away from them as well. From the age of nine, she aspired to join the military to pursue her dream and initially looked up to the Sanctum Fal’Cie. At the time, she saw them with deep reverence, for they were Gods created to watch over the people of Cocoon and to protect them from the hostile world beyond theirs.

At the age of 14 she joined a youth contingency of the Guardian Corps, focusing wholeheartedly on climbing the ranks and to earn a position she believed could allow her to make a difference in helping others and a position she believed would make her late mother proud. Before her mother died, a gem with the Pisces symbol carved on it was passed down to Wisel as a final request. She has kept that gem ever since and had even had the emblem adorned on her photon armour breastplate as a tribute to her mother. By 18 she was officially in the Guardian Corps, tasked with the protection of Palumpolum before moving back to Eden city. Two years later she joined the Wide Area Response Brigade and her ideology of the world would begin to dramatically change. She grew suspicious of the Fal’Cie when she was studying the creatures during her time in the Cavalry, determined to discover the true nature of their relationship with humans. Nevertheless she remained dedicated to her mission, never objecting to an order, granting her a particularly favourable reputation among her peers and superiors. After several years, she attained the highest position in the Wide Area Response Brigade – Brigadier General – the first woman to do so and in turn making her a famed, influential figure.

Her rise to the rank of Brigadier General would in turn accentuate her suspicions towards the Sanctum Fal’Cie even further. While attending a meeting with the Primarch in Edenhall, she wandered off into one of the concealed chambers of the building, conquered by curiosity and a desire to learn more of the Sanctum government at the heart of Cocoon. Little did she know a hiding Fal’Cie was dwelling in the dungeons beneath Edenhall and Wisel had chanced a meeting with this mysterious entity. Immediately upon laying eyes on the Fal’Cie, her memory succumbed to haziness and all she could recall was a horrific vision of hundreds of corpses. The next thing she knew, she was outside of Edenhall with hazy recollections of events and much to her horror, a brand on the palm of her right hand. That had been the ultimate turning point in her relationship with the Fal’Cie. The brand on her hand was no more than a “Cursed Mark” to her. She was not about to follow this order, for one of the first times in her life. To her, the Fal’Cie would want nothing more than to totally assert their superiority over humans by annihilating them all from the face of Cocoon. Even if it would mean an eternity as a Cie’th, she was not going to completely abandon her principles, abandon her love for mankind and become or die a mere puppet of the Fal’Cie. If possible, the Fal’Cie were going to pay for this.



Name: Mateus

Gender: Male

Summoning Animation: Wisel’s right hand glows in radiant blue, forming a lapis crystal in her hand that she tosses into the air with her right hand. She then shoots the crystal with her Manadrive Blade, conjuring a seal in the air where Mateus would emerge from.

Appearance: Think FFXII’s Mateus the Corrupt…though without that woman on its torso. This incarnation of Mateus however, is a similar height to Wisel and has a very sea-serpent like humanoid appearance.

Gestalt Mode: Mateus flings his spear onto the ground and leaps into the air, emanating blue light while transforming into a mechanised spear with the Eidolon’s actual spear weapon itself attaching to it. Mateus, as an enormous mechanised spear is utilised by Wisel, enhancing her strength to use the Mateus Spear with the photon streams.

Frostwave – Wisel throws the Mateus Spear/Trident and it plunges through (often metaphorical?) water, spinning to create a blue aura of ice. The trident is launched straight through the surface of the water, in turn creating a giant pillar of water to rise due to the force of the trident. The trident impales an enemy while the pillar of water freezes and shatters, damaging other hostile targets with ice damage.

Age: 17

Gender: Male

Race: Human- to become a l'cie

Appearance: Shorter than your average guy at five foot six, Hale has a rather fragile form, and is physically weak, with a babyface that just doesn't want to go away. He doesn't grow a beard or a moustache, and because of his height, build and face, can be mistaken for as young as fifteen.

Preferring casual wear over typical Cocoon brand wear, Hale only wears inconspicuous white t-shirts, visible under a black leather jacket. On his legs he wears blue leather jeans. All three of these garments are a little too large for him, making him look even smaller than he already is. On his feet, he wears scuffed white trainers with black and red streaks running through the soles.

With slightly tousled, short brown hair and brown, slightly large eyes with a lightly tanned complexion, Hale seems both approachable and warm, leaving him looking basically like the perfect teenager. He will never take off his t-shirt when in company, for whatever reason there may be. He is adamant in this respect.

Personality: Wears a mask that nothing is wrong. That everything is fine. He never lets this slip under any circumstances if he can help it. He'd rather be beaten unconscious than to cry.

In place of real emotions, he shows either a neutral expression or a small smile at all times, and only frowns at rare occasions, when his other expressions would not be suitable for what's going on. Every move is carefully, precisely practised, every expression planned, almost every scenario thought for.

However, inside is a whirling pit of turmoil and emotion that he just barely keeps below the surface. He's kept every emotion down for so long that real emotion is like a sickness to be prevented at all costs, and so he is unable to show it.

Preferring to keep below the surface, his false emotion and casual wear is good at doing just that. He sneaks below the radar, staying unnoticed and unnoticing as he proceeds through his roaming grounds, disliking interruption while he "works."

Something of a materialist, he also believes that the physical is as far as things go, and there is no soul, no afterlife, and nobody that can be totally trusted. As such, this makes for a rather unbalanced youth who wants to keep his emotions under the radar, when he's really not much more than a scared kid wanting help.

Weapons: A single dagger he keeps in his belt at all times, enjoying the feeling at having something he can use to defend himself.

Brief History: Born to a lower class family in the slums of Bodhum, Hale never knew a father or a father figure. The closest was his older brother, Ivan. Hale always looked up to Ivan, who was everything Hale wasn't. Tall, tough looking, and masculine. At the time, Hale was quite the crybaby, who would burst into tears at the slightest thing gone wrong.

Hale's mother focussed all her time on raising her young son, who was ten years Ivan's junior, while Ivan earned money from a variety of temporary jobs, none of which lasted particularly long due to Ivan's impulsive, ever changing mind.

Eventually, at the age of twenty, when Hale was ten, Ivan decided to enlist in the Cavalry, and soon after was conscripted to supervise the first Purge, advertised as a "quarantine for the unfortunate contaminated." As a child, Hale was raised to fear Pulse contamination, and so supported his brother's job with cheers and smiles, unlike their mother, who remained rather worried over the whole ordeal.

There was no resistance in the location Ivan was stationed to, and as such he came home safe and sound, to his mother's delight. Unfortunately, he was also conscripted to the second Purge, and in the months between the first Purge and the second, a resistance force had reared its head, and Ivan was killed in an attempt to restrain Palumpolum civilians.

News didn't reach Hale and his mother until a few days after the Purge ended, leaving both overwhelmed with worry. His mother went through the normal grieving process, though she would never fully recover; never quite expecting to outlive her child. However, she did return to being a mother to the eleven year old Hale.

Unfortunately, Hale didn't quite receive the mental stability he needed during the turbulent time of grief. His mother sustained his physical needs, but never quite sustained his mental needs, leaving him unsure of the correct way to cope with the loss of a loved one. And being unable to know who to blame between PSICOM and the resistance force that had killed Ivan, became truly neutral, unable to side with anyone, and that was when the mask started to form.

Eventually, with the flow of money from Ivan's last cheque running out, Hale's mother was forced to pull him out of school, and Hale rejected the advances of concerned friends coolly, the mask being almost fully formed at this point. A thirteen year old Hale went to a government funded, sub-par school that left him lacking in emotional maturity, because most of the students there, as well as the teachers, were reserved, quiet, studious individuals.

Taking and holding down a job at the age of sixteen, Hale left school, and began to spend his nights pickpocketing local pedestrians in Bodhum, coming close to capture, but never quite getting snatched. This allowed Hale and his mother to live a life relatively similar to that of when Ivan had been alive.

When the time for the third Purge came, Hale was unsure of what to do next, and so stayed at home, hoping that it would be over quickly. However, when it turned out that the contamination originated in Bodhum, Hale's mother was removed from the family home. Fortunately, she hid the present day Hale in the basement. Unfortunately, she was taken by a particularly violent group of soldiers, and when she refused to give them certain favours, one soldier shot her dead in a semi drunken stupor, and laughed about it.

At this point, Hale grabbed the short knife he had used to cut open the pockets of his victims, and approached the man who had killed his mother silently, who had had the gall to stay on the sofa and watch TV while his mother lay still on the carpet. Raising the knife, he stabbed the man in the neck, and hit the jugular, causing the man to bleed out quickly as Hale ran. Unfortunately, he was caught before he could escape Bodhum and put on a Purge Train.

Name: Phoenix

Summoning Animation: Red light flows from the brand on Hale's chest, which fades out until eventually the entire brand is gone, and the light gathers in his hands in a single sphere, which he then expands into a circle by raising it into the air, similar to an offering one would make. Eyes closed, the circle expands into a seal, and Hale crushes the sphere still in the middle with either his mind or his hand, causing white and red light to engulf and ignite the seal with crimson flames and gems, which Phosnic explodes out of, doing two three hundred and sixty degree spins before unfurling her wings, sending strips of lava, flame and smoke everywhere close to her for a total of five seconds.

Sacrificial Pulse: If an ally is badly hurt or near death on the battlefield, at Hale's order, Phoenix will fly above the ally and spread her wings wide, raising her head to the sky and letting out a loud screech as her body ignites, disintegrating within a few moments. Feathers glowing red will descend upon the hurt ally, curing them or casting Regen. She will do this automatically if Hale goes down.

Sacrificial Detonation: Phoenix flies towards the enemy, her body glowing red as an explosion starts from her heart, and spreads outwards, dealing heavy non elemental damage as well as totally destroying Phoenix and removing her from battle until she can be summoned again.

Gestalt Mode and attacks during Gestalt Mode. Hale jumps onto Phoenix's back and grabs her neck. Molten hot whips extend from Phoenix's neck and wrap around Hale's wrists, ankles and neck, binding him to Phoenix. He closes his eyes and enters a comatose state, where he can only communicate telepathically with anyone nearby.

Maw of Fire: Phoenix releases a beam that ignites anything in her path for medium fire based damage.

Ceremonial Vanquish: A slender beam shoots from Hale's chest for high fire based damage.

Avian of Blades: Flies towards the enemy, her wings glowing brightly as she spins, white hot to deal medium-high fire damage to an enemy.

Infernal Pulse: A pulse of fire expands from Hale, striking all enemies in a meter radius. Hard to dodge, but deals only light damage with a knockback effect.

Phoenix Heart: Finishing move. A large ball of fire phases out of Hale's heart and he clutches it in both hands, before releasing it. It slowly descends into Phoenix's back and through it and she flies over the enemy, releasing the ball from her own heart. It explodes as it reaches the ground, causing huge fire damage. Phoenix drops Hale to the ground and flies off.

Mimicing the Desighn on his Pant leg.
He has Ocean blue eyes with dirty blonde hair. that reaches down to the bottom of his neck. He has a scar on his lower back. His hair will sometimes Cover part of his face if he shakes it.

Personality:

Connor is a kind,hard working person. He has trouble fighting (Psycially and Verbally) because he was raised to be Kind to everything and not respond with violence.

He is easily pushed aside and manitpulated because he will never stand up for him self. Connor is a very shy person. wth only a select group of friends. He is bullied all the time and as thought about Suicide. but can never try an attempt.

Connor is a Coward of many things (like spiders,the dark.) He is a very smart individual and can think his way out of most problems. A master Meteorligist. Connor is fascinated by the Weather. and Elements. He dearly wishes he like a Storm. Beautiful to see. but Dangerous all the same.

Past:

Connor grew up as a resident of Cocoon. Learning to fear the L'cie. He grew up in a small town close to Eden. His life was what any one could have hoped for. Loving Parents. Kinds Friends. Good education. But when he was 10. a expriment failed in one the Reasearch labs. His paraents were killed. And he was moved to Eden

From that point life got worse. Everyone at his school Hated him. He was constantly forced into things he didnt want to do. He was expected to be like everyone else in Eden Goverment. Perfect. But he was'nt. So for 5 years. He was hated. Shunned aside. Deemed insignificant.

At 15 he witnessed a man go insane shouting! "I HAVE A MISSION! I MUST FUFILL IT FOR THE L'CIE! THEY ARENT EVIL! YOUVE GOt TO UNDERSTAND!" Seeing that this man was like him. Shunned. Deemed insane. Pathetic. hated. He started wondering wether L'cie were truly evil. HE then decided to Run away. He vowed to find the truth about the L'cie. and silently...wished to become one. So he ran away on an adventure

Atomos's Lower half Dis connects Itself from the body. and attaches itself to the back. The tentacles then Shoot sideways and Aim toward Enemy as Cannons. The giant mouth then Acts as a Gigantic Lazer cannon.

Weaknesses: In gestalt mode Atomos is still weak to thunder. but in stead of ice he is weak to water. Also in this form. he is a Magical wall. but is heavily weak to physical attacks.

strengths: In Gestalt mode. Atomos anhillates anything magical. He also has excellent defense against any Pshyical Thunder and water elementals.

Race: Human- to become a l'cie

Appearance: Stands at about 5’9, Stevie has black hair that hangs a few inches below his shoulder, and is always slightly messy. He has dark hazel eyes, and weighs about 150-160 pounds. He has no facial hair, and his skin is rather pale.

Stevie wears a pair of black tights and white shorts that are cut off slightly above the knee. He wears a black long sleeved t-shirt, over which sits a white vest that goes half down to his hips. A silver necklace made to look like a small section of chain hangs around his neck. He also has a small black belt on which he holsters his two daggers.

Personality: A cheery person who isn’t afraid to share his feelings, Stevie is the life of the party. Determined to be happy at all times, he looks on the best of everything that happens. However, this can also lead him to annoy people and get him in dangerous situations because his carefree attitude often leads him not to take things that are going on too seriously.

Underneath that however is a more serious young man who doesn’t want to admit that the world is a cruel place. Because of the illness that he had as a child, he's also felt isolated from the world, and so he does what it takes to seem the most normal. He tries to make the people he meets happy no matter what, because he believes that this will make them his friends.

He also tries to be happy all the time for the memory of someone from his past.

Weapons: Silver daggers with white ivory handles. They are of medium length and have curved blades.

Brief History: Stevie grew in Bodhum with both of his parents. He was an only child, and sickly at birth. It was never know exactly what had caused this, some sort of birth defect the doctors said. As he grew older, the sickness started to disappear, fully leaving him at the age of 14. However up to this point he had to be cared for by his mother, while his father kept the family inn running.
Kept in seclusion, Stevie didn’t have any friends, and when the sickness finally left, he was still shunned by other his age. This lead him to have extreme problems and to have bouts of depression until one day he met a girl named Vanessa. Vanessa had had the same illness that he had, but hadn’t grown out of it. She was also two years younger than him.
Stevie befriended Vanessa, and soon started to fall in love with her, even as he knew that each day drew closer to being her last. The sickness was eating away at her body, the same way it would’ve his had he not been lucky enough to escape it. He had asked the doctors why he had been able to heal from it and she hadn’t to no avail. They didn’t know. Soon, the sickness intensified, and not longer after Vanessa passed away.
Stevie begin to study to be a Medic in order to help people with such sicknesses and also in order to do his own research into the sickness that had taken his precious Vanessa away from him. His parents died when he was 17, and he sold the family inn and bought his own place.
When the Purge started, Stevie was still in Burdom, and was hauled onto the Purge Train.

Summoning Animation: Stevie throws his crystal forward and it shatters into dust and from the dust comes Fenrir.

Appearance:


Attacks including magic.

Bite/Claw- Simple physical attack with claws or mouth

Growl – A wind type attack where a whirlwind of air is released from his mouth, blowing enemies away, as well as a loud sound that might make them flinch or falter.

Force Balls- Can shoot large balls of compressed air from his mouth that are as hard as stones. Takes a minute to charge, leaving Fenrir open to attack.

Curaga – heals Stevie

Gestalt Mode: Fenrir turns into a more dragon like creature than he normally is (eastern not Western dragon) that Stevie can ride on. This boosts his wind attacks, and allows him to do a few different ones.

Attacks during Gestalt Mode:

Mega Bite: Stronger version of bite with more force, thus doing more damage

Fire Breath: Has the ability to shoot fire from his mouth. Takes a moment to charge leaving Fenrir open for attack.

Healing Wind: Heals both Fenir and Stevie.

Scale attack: Has the ability to shoot some of the scales that cover this forms body off as an attack not unlike throwing knives. However, this temporarily weakens Fenrir's defense making him more venerable to attacks.

Final Attack:

Tornado-Takes his tail in his mouth and spins his body rapidly creating what is at first a small disturbance in the air that eventually grows into a full force tornado with winds strong enough to rip trees from the ground and also bits of earth. However this takes a few minutes and leaves Fenrir completely open to to attack.

Overall weaknesses: Weak to Thunder
