Microsoft confirmed they will release a Final Fantasy XIII hardware bundle. The package contains an Xbox 360, two wireless controllers, exclusive avatar items, Final Fantasy XIII for Xbox 360, and a 250 GB hard drive with Final Fantasy XIII engraved on it.

The announcement emphasizes this will be the only Final Fantasy XIII hardware bundle outside of Japan (that should be all of Asia, Hong Kong and Korea got bundles) so you can forget about getting a pink Lightning PlayStation 3 in North America and Europe.

Square Enix character designer Tetsuya Nomura also made a special Xbox 360 faceplate which is said to be “very limited”. Select retailers across Europe, North America, Australia, and New Zealand will have it in fixed quantities, but the press release didn’t mention how fans can get it.

It's okay, I guess. Since I already have a 360, it's not something I'm going to go out and buy. You'll probably be able to buy a front cover like that. The Final Fantasy XIII on the top...I don't think too many people but yourself are going to notice that.
 
Oh yes a new faceplate! Im defo gonna change my Halo 3 one for this one because FF RULES etc etc. Plus XIII will be my fav probably. As for the new avatar items will they come as dlc one day? :sad2:

Most likely.

Microsoft also confirmed exclusive DLC would be coming with the bundle, although didn’t specify what that was. Square Enix, however, revealed it was just exclusive Avatar gear.

Seriously, that looks pretty cool. Unfortunately I am not going to buy it because I already own a Xbox: 360, That's a good bundle for someone who has never purchased or needs a new Xbox: 360.
 
Hmm, it looks alright I suppose. Then again I don't really intend to get an Xbox 360 anyway because my brother already has one. Plus I'm more of a Sony loyalist. :wacky:

The pink Lightning PS3 would have looked really nice in my house. It's just too bad the west will never get to see it though.

This. The Lightning one, and even the Sazh one (what ever happened to that btw? :wacky:) looked more original. The 360 looks pretty good but nothing really original, though I can see why people would buy it.
 
Oh very nice. It looks so shiney!

It'd be nice if I didn't already have an XBox. I'm glad they're doing more than just bundling an ordinary looking XBox a copy of the game though. I don't think it was confirmed last time if it would be or not.
