I was recently a member of Advent Children Forums, but recent events have left me displeased..

It seems to me, that most of the staff there have one too many sticks shoved up their... well.. you get the idea.. But, I'm almost positive that they were out to get me, with no reasoning other than they don't like what I have to say. For instance, in one thread, I gave an input that no one else had agreed to, and they said that it was "blatant spam" and gave me a verbal reprimand.. Then I was having problems logging into my account, and so I make a new one, and reply in the same thread. They said that I was "duplicating accounts to avoid a warning" and permanently ban my new profile from the site, and ban my old one for 8 days... it was ridiculous.

So now, I have found myself a new environment, hopefully I can get along with staff better, as well as my fellow members.. I hope that I can enjoy my stay here, and that this can be my new place to hang out, and gather information about one of the best series of game this world has seen.

To all of you, I thank you for allowing me to join.
 
Lol as much as you might not like to hear it, multiple accounts and spam are against the rules here too. =]
Although...I'd like to think that FFFs moderators aren't tightwads. ^_^

Ah yes, I know quite well that it was against the rules.. however, I was on topic, and contributed useful information, they just didn't want to hear it..

As for the duplicate account, I told them who I was when I created it, and mentioned the fact that I could not log in to my old one.. they just didn't feel like believing me.

And well, let's see.. the moderator went off topic to tell me that I was off topic when I wasn't, and if I kept it up I'd be banned..

I stayed on topic by replying to an earlier thread, and followed up by saying that he can't ban me, because I was on topic.

And so he said "No, but I can ban you for a duplicate account."

And that's when both of my accounts were banned.

Also how long were you on ACF for?
 
Lol ACF. That site is full of drama, spammers, idiots and is falling a part so I don't think it's a good idea to stay over there. Most of their staff members are unfair and too harsh, they don't even know how to deal with the forum as it is their own duty.

Welcome to FFF anyway. Hope you'll have a great time with us.
 
Conversion, eh? Regardless of the circumstances, welcome to FFF.

The staff, now, are far more reasonable than that, suffice to say. XD

There's plenty of places to post 'n' stuffs, so be post happy! Or, you know... not.
 
Welcome to FFF. Yes, take Adamant seriously. The RPG Directors are into making crazy mazes that drive players nuts. Some of the monsters are totally evil thanks to me. ;)
 
Like you would know Darkblade. All forums have their fair share of drama, spammers, useless mods. ACF is constantly working with other members to improve things. It seems rather unfair to label most people as idiots, as you don't know everybody. And this isn't me trying to cause drama, I'm saying things as they should be.

Random.Virus, I'm a current staffer over there, and I know what I'm doing. Shame things never worked out at ACF for you. Not all of ACF is bad as certain people make it out to be, but it isn't exactly perfect either.

I'd like to invite you to come and join my Judges of Archadia club, if you are interested in FFXII at all.

If not..I'll just see you around :)

That's bullshit. That just sounds like random ACF bashing. You got warned for ONE little post (and it was actually a verbal warning which DIDN'T EVEN GET YOU ANY WARNING POINTS) and then you got banned for one week because you made a duplicate account which is CLEARLY against the rules (in pretty much every forum) and that's it. Don't make a drama out of it as if every mod there was out to get you.

Your site is full of idiots, spammers and drama too (show me ANY site that manages to keep them out), and you deal with issues worse than they do since your only solution is to resort to flaming, so I would keep quiet when it comes to that issue.

The fact of the matter is that I wasn't the only one warned. Other people in the same exact thread were getting handed warnings left and right, for spamming, when everyone was on topic. The mods were going crazy, and people were flaming like hell. I personally don't want to be in that kind of an environment, but if you are so defensive about it, why not go over to ACF and sign up?

Haha, see, that's what I'm talking about. You're making much more drama out of the issue than there actually has been. Only TWO people got warned, you and someone else, for posts that actually WERE spam. TWO warnings in one thread, please tell me where those warnings have been handed out left and right, or where you have been warned for having a different opinion. You got one verbal warning, and your normal account got banned for one week for making a duplicate account which is standard procedure. You don't make duplicate accounts when you can't log in, you e-mail someone about the issue.

Though, now that I think about it... there is one thing I would like to say to you, Nexumal.. why are you making such a big deal out of something you know nothing about? You weren't there in the thread. You don't know how many people were getting warned, so why go into a big argument on it? It really shouldn't concern you what happened to me in ACF, the fact of the matter is that I'm here now, so let's just drop the subject before either of us are warned for flaming or spamming.

ACF is shite, dude. I could make a thread that says "fuck you" in the spam section, and I'd probably get banned. I think you'll get along fine here. Just don't talk to the admin the "stick" shoved up his ass.

Why do you think I know nothing about it?:PAnd yes, I know how many people got warned. And we can't get warned for flaming...without the flaming...:P
