World’s leading video game retailer, GameStop, has said that it would host launch events for Final Fantasy XIII on Monday across the nation.

Most of the participating more than 3,200 stores will open at 10 pm local time.

Final Fantasy series of games has become almost renowned. The menus of Final Fantasy XIII are intuitive and quick enough to allow you a number of options and mechanics of setting up your squad and engaging in successful battles.

The music in the game is sometimes repetitive but it is wonderfully delicate and skillfully harmonized with the proceedings.

Overall, the plot of the game is well-conceived and its quick battle system offers great excitement.

Again, this appears to be a United States thing only :hmmm:

Not that I mind. I doubt my mother would let me go out so late at night just to pick up a game, especially since I'd need to take a bus to the nearest EB Games store (that's not in a mall). She just don't get mai pashion! :gasp:

...And I'll probably be sleeping >_>
 
Yeah its because GameStop isn't that huge here in the UK :/

I know that alot of GameStation stores are doing a midnight release and having an event about it.

Just be sure to go in and ask yourself :)
 
Hrm. I was thinking about going to this near me, but I just don't think it's worth it. My GameStop doesn't seem to have any perks other than getting the game at midnight.

I'll be just as happy to pick mine up right after classes. :ryan:

I really wish I could get this game on the opening night :( My brothers got Modern Warfare 2 on its opening night *kicks feet*

Maybe I'll get it later on...*cries*
 
I preordered it :\

I'll go to sleep EARLY on March 8th, 2010, go to school the next day and hope it comes to my house in the afternoon :D
 
My guess in the UK we may see some midnight madness from our retailers again, chances are they will do something similar to MW2's release in the Uk, nothing glitzy and fancy, but a great opportunity for those that want to get there hands on the game right away.

I love gamestop but, I dun think i'll end up going.

reaaaally want the game but, i'm sure by that time of the day I just don't want to go anywhere tbh.
