I have only just heard of this on other Forum and plan to bring here on organizing a possible GFX Worm with FFF members. :)


For those wondering, what the heck is a GFX Worm. Here it goes.
A GFX Worm is a collection of images that are placed together to make one, extremely long, image. Each of the pieces submitted must follow on perfectly from the previous piece. This transition should be pretty much unnoticable, so as to further the idea that it is one, long image.

Rules:
-Image Size:600x450
-Image Format-Jpeg.Only!
-does not matter which program you use just the format matters!
-worm will run left-right
-you can only start when the one before you is finished!

Signing up:
Just post here mentioning you want to join and which place you want

1- Final Keyblade - Done!
2- Mitsuki - Done!
3- Tifa Rokkuhato - Next
4- Coco
5- Ness
6-
7-

Etc..

Tifa Rokkuhato will host the website were the Worm will be saved and Update as soon as possible. :)

When the first person finish their GFX the second person must make one image that links with the first one and gives continuation for a third one.

When you wish to make an entry, post it here as well. I will then take it, add it to the worm and upload the new image for display.

Very neat. Sure I'll give this one a try. It's something new. I'll take...2nd place. Now, is there any sort of theme that we must follow? Or can we choose any image? Does it have to be strictly a new signature or can it be an old one we did from the past?
 
You can use any image youd like :)

Hmm.. This is interesting.. So how big must the image we make be? And is there a theme we'll follow?

All the Image Sizes must be: 600x450 and JPG!

No there is no theme, you can create just about anything either old artwork or new. That way everyone can use which image they like and we can have various themes in a single GFX instead of one.

Ok Coco 4th place is yours.

We still need someone to take the first place and start the worm. :P
 
I would be all for this but every since I got into graphics design I have had one rule. NEVER USE JPEG. If it weren't for the jpeg I would be all for it but I have my own rule to never use jpeg as it diminishes images.

Its a good idea and everything but if it was a different image type I would be all for it.
 
I don't see a problem in it, and yes i know jpeg lowers the image quality, but the example shows pretty well that they aren't bad. The Jpeg might be because the all images need to blend together.

The two other forums did it without a problem, so why can't we/you make it?

As soon as someone takes the First place the GFX Worm can start :)
 
I heard that you have been waiting for me. I am the one and only First Place:P

I guess I post the first work, well here is something I found lying around my comp. I had to change the file type to JPEG for this to work. Yeah I know it looks sucky, but I haven't tried anything this big in a while.

You have to pick Final Keyblade Image and blend with yours, like it was a continuation of his image, do you understand?

Like: The Final Fantasy letters are imcomplete on the #1 Image, So in yours it should complete the rest and blend it so the signatures match. :)

The image is fine, but you need to use the first image and blend it with yours so that they match... and the worm goes from Left to Right.

there is 6 Images from 6 different persons here and they are all blended together.

Im sorry if i didn't explain very well, its my fault. =/

Oh ok, I thought we can just do whatever. =/ When I first looked at the link, I didn't exactly look hard enough. I see now that the first two images used are in harmony, but the rest seemed pretty...random. =/

I get the whole "continuation" of the image and all that. So I have to get his image and place a bit on my left side, yes? Ok I got that part, but my only hindrance now is Final Keyblade's text completion...I don't know the exact placement and how exactly I can complete the text. =/ Sure I can kinda guess where it should be located, but I highly doubt it would fit in exactly with FK's text. That and I don't even know the text font. >.> What should I do with that...? If the text wasn't there, it'd be much easier for me to work with the piece.

Hmm, this is harder than I thought...


I wonder...am I allowed to um, switch places? xDD As you can see, my darker theme won't work with FK's color theme as it won't match at all. Someone else will have to do it since I already did a mess up. >.> That and I just won't be able to match the text perfectly, angle-wise and all.
