Here's a couple of rules/guidelines that the members should follow in the Killika forum. They aren't hard to follow:

* Don't post just a rating (10/10). This is way too brief of a post, please explain why you like the piece of work, comments to improve are also acceptable.
* Please, try to keep all your works in one thread, if you feel a new thread is needed, inform a moderator so they can close your old one.
* For huge works, like wallpapers, please post them in the form of a link.
* Use warnings in your post if your work has content some may not like. Blood, violence, yaoi and yuri are examples here.
* Don't post anything containing nudity. Those will be deleted, and the poster may be permanently banned from the forums.
* Critiques should be done in a constructive way. Saying something like "It sucks" will be considered spam. Instead, point the problems you see, and, if you're willing to, give suggestions to fix the problems. Bad ones may be considered spam and will be warned accordingly. Critiques should also try to be positive, don't just put the poster down, and point out something you like, as well as something you disliked if you must critique.
* Only post your own work, unless you have permission from the original creator to post it. If you are found out to be posting someone else’s works without permission, and claiming them as your own, you will be infracted.

Good Criticism Guidelines

Noticing on how criticism is being done here, I've decided to add some tips on how to make some good criticism. Here's an idea on how to do it:

* First of all, look for what is bad, or what you didn't like. Then, put them in the post, but just don't say something "sucks". Say what is wrong, like the colours in a background, how bright things are, etc, and if possible, how to correct those problems.
* A good criticism usually comments on all the main parts of a sig: background, typography (the text), stock (pictures used in the sig), borders and any other additional things (animations, cutting, etc).
* For criticism values, rating a sig is no good. Criticism is made to help people to get better, so putting a rating won't help at all. Putting just a rating is spam.
* To finish, comment on what you really liked, so the person know what it's right, and so there is some positive spin on the critique.

See? It's not that hard to make a good criticism. Remember that just ratings and comments is spam, so refrain from putting just "I like your sig!” or "It sucks". You must explain why. Even if it's a simple "I really liked how you used the colours!"

Plagiarism

Plagiarism is unacceptable, and will not be tolerated in the Graphics Reverie section. If you suspect that someone is plagiarising, or you see that someone has stolen your work, follow these steps -

* First, you should PM a Moderator (preferably a GFX one) with a link to your plagiarised work. While many of you may feel the need to start a thread on it, in most cases, it's generally NOT a good idea if you get half the forum involved.
* Provide proof that the work is yours. A PSD file would be the best thing you can provide. This is solid proof that the signature is indeed yours. This will make things much easier in the long run, because it won't turn into a your word against theirs type of thing. IF you no longer have the PSD file, you're probably going to have to provide another form of proof.
* If you must say something to the poster, do it by PM, keeping it off the forums helps prevent drama and flaming.

We know that you would probably be insulted if you see that someone has stolen your work, but act in a calm manner, and everything will be resolved. We do NOT want to see people calling people out in threads.

Piracy Policy

Software piracy is strictly prohibited on FFF. This would mean that you're not allowed to request any copyrighted material (software’s included), let alone distribute them.

Any threads requesting this kind of material will be closed and slummed without notice, and any links for downloading those will be removed. The members involved, including the thread creator, will be warned accordingly.
We have dial-up users to think about. <!-- google_ad_section_start -->
