So I am playing through VII again and decided I am really gonna use Aerith alot. Well I am getting ready to go to the Temple of the Ancients, so I was leveling up quite a bit. And it finally happened, I got Aerith's Great Gospel Limit Break. How many others have done this, I know there are quite alot of people out there that dont even use her because
they know she is gonna die
. Well because I knew that I decided that I was gonna use her until I couldnt anymore. I feel like I acheived something pretty great, because in the 3-4 times I have played this game I have never even came close to getting the Great Gospel.

I've got Great Gospel quite a few times actually, Aerith (Aeris), is one of my favourite characters and I used her a lot. It's a very good limit break too, using it on in the fight with Demon wall is very helpful.
So yeah, I got it a few times, it's great:gasp:

Nope im pretty sure ive never got it, had aerith not been killed she would have been a character that i would use, however seeing as her time in FFVII is cut short i refrained from using her. I think i got as far as her level 3s and that was it..:(

I tend to -over level- and get everyone to lvl 99 (there's an island on the far south east that I like to frequent with a high enough challenge)

I don't remember getting EVERYONE's ultimate limits, but I know I got Aerith's, Cloud's, and Tifa's ultimate before going

its the hardest thing to do on disk one

Yeah I got a save file right before I have to go to the gold saucer to get the key stone. Saving after that means your stuck with Aerith. I'm on level 72 -76 and have all materia you can get at that point in the game mastered and everyones level 4 limit that yu can get. So When I play final fantasy VII now I get to the part I'm at (keystone) and play on my leveled up file. It does however make the game very easy. So yeah after a lot of level grinding I learned her great gospel limit break.

Personaly, I tend to hack her back into the game with an action replay. I find her limits to be the most powerfull of anyones even if they are defensive in nature. Plus it's fun beefing her up and watching her smack sephiroth around with the parasole. :P

No game play is complete without the Great Gospel for me, hehee ^^
At first it was kinda tricky to understand how to really get it but then after maybe the third play I got it right xD

I never got Aeris's Great Gospel. In fact, I barely ever used her unless there was no one else to use. It's not that I don't love her as a character, I do. It's just that I find her battle ineffective, as military people might say. I just don't use her in battle so there's never been an opportunity to unlock all her limit breaks, even though she will never be able to use them late in the game.

I think because of what happens, it makes you want to use her more? Maybe. That's what I did, and her great gospel does help with the demon wall and he can be tricky!

I think I was fairly balanced with regards to leveling/limit breaking. If one of the characters had got their limits, i just swapped them out for one who was lower down! except cait sith!

She's still effective if you think that way. If you put her in the back row and load her with magic materia you got the closest think to a caster the game has. She's great with spells and a few of her limits grant the peerless status which nothing else does. Get that status and NOTHING can touch you till it wears off.

I always get Great Gospel now, without fail, it's an incredible limit, but part of me also wants Aerith to use her ultimate move before she's lost to my party forever. D: It's beautiful to watch too, one of my favourites. I couldn't figure out how to attain it on my very first try of the game, and I was annoyed as I wanted to explore everything about the game.

I don't think I even got her level 2 limit. I only ever used her for healing and buffing so those 80 kills I needed never came

Closet I ever got was getting her first level 2 limit. Taht was as long as my patience would allow. I pick the stupid Great Gospel item up, but I can just never be botehred to actaully put in the time to train when I know it's fruitless. Only think I can see it being any good for as previosuly mentioned is Demon Wall...... other than that, seems like FAR too much effort on my part. I MIGHT do it one day....but that's a really big might, and chance are I wont >_>

Oh, it's be good for Rapps or w/e it's called aswel xD

ive done it a few times, and the last time i played through FFVII i got everyones limit break to the highest possible point, meaning level 3 before i really moved on, and when i got Cid an Vincent later on, i stopped and leveled them up, but to be honest Great Gospel really isnt worth the time in my opinion.

so i have done it, and ive done it quiet a few times.

It's a nice limit break, buy by the time you've fought all those monsters and leveled up enough to get it you'd already be too strong to even need it against anybody.

Ya I was just thinking about it, and why did they give a final limit break anyway. I mean I really do feel like I accomplished something by getting it, its just that by the time you get the ability to get her final limit break its only about two hours of gameplay and she
gets stabbed by Sephiroth
. I mean you can get her limit right after your first visit at the Gold Saucer. And its not long after that you go to the Temple of the Ancients.

But I agree it was a kick ass Limit Break and the few times that I did use it, it saved my ass.

I've never done it, I'm afraid I don't have the patience...Well, my friend trained Cloud, Aerith, and RED XIII To level 60, All Materia Mastered, and then she finally got Great Gospel and through the rest everything was easy for her party XD She was so bored!

I didn't bother using Aeris because I knew she was gonna die although when the cutscene actually happened I felt really sad =(. Anyways throughout the game I just used Cloud, Tifa, and Red XIII and threw Cure Materia on each of them

It's funny cuz the first time i played through FFVII, I used aeris as part of my core team. back then i wasn't a huge FF fan (cuz it was my first one) and i didn't know that she was gonna die (needless to say i felt totally robbed when she did) but yeah, i didn't get far enough to get her final limit.

the second time i played, i knew she was gonna die so i avoided using her.

but now, i feel like it would be really cool to see it. i mean see it for real and not on youtube or something like that. so i'm definitely going to do it next time i play VII this summer (after the semester ends).
