Hey there folks, welcome to a brand new series: Parappa The Rapper 2! A music/rhythm game based on quirky characters and stuff. It's the remastered PS4 version of the original game for PS2 :). I should probably mention that this game was all brought to us by Sony Computer Entertainment Europe and NanaOn-Sha (I've actually never heard of the latter :s).

I can't say a whole lot more about it since I'm going in blind, but I normally love these sorts of music games and hope to the lords above that I'm actually half-decent at it lmao :D.

I'm thinking this series will last around a week so it's nice and short and commentary-free. I need a break and this seems like a relaxing change of pace for me :). Expect one or two songs per day!

This game is bloody nuts lmao! Ok, so the story is that we need to save the burger takeaway place from having only noodles when there should be burgers there. I get that. What the hell do we have the ghost of the ex-owner teaching us how to make burgers for though lmao!

That boombox is amazing too! It's a bit of a long-winded tutorial but hell, it's necessary for a rhythm game.

I also thought we could check out the options menu...er...building too. Dare I say that seeing words written on the back of that guy's head made me lol a wee bit too much :s.

Ok, when I saw the name of this stage, I didn't expect this! While the onion man is obviously a bit sexually tense, we can safely say that we should never harm him. He'll make us cry :sad2:.

I was so confused at the start of that bonus game! I didn't even know there would be any so I thought it would be cinematic, but nope! Bonus points, sirs and madams! :lew:

Anyways, say hello to our favourite pothead! We don't see him in the act, but he's obviously some authority figure so maybe he knows how to hide his potheaded-ness well. Though considering he couldn't press the right button for himself and caused all that trouble, maybe not :/.

Why hello again! I'd just like to point out that Moosesha is my favourite character so far. She actually seems to be able to rap, unlike most of the others lmao.

Look at those people lifting weights and everything when they're made of paper ha! I love that. I also like that Parappa is a dog but he wants to be a man. We shall name him...Pinocchio! ;)

As for the title of this stage, the ellipses really makes me think they're not referring to just making him army-worthy! The innuendos in this game. Blimey :/.

lmao is that a hairdressing conveyor belt? No...it's like when you go to a sushi buffet place and the plates come around on a belt. Wow lol. I love the way that the octopus hairdresser can just cut so many people's hair at once! I think this might be my favourite stage so far, with this theme and those lyrics lmao :s.

So it's like a remix huh? The old songs have been put together but to a videogame theme, which is a pretty interesting way to do it ha! I quite like this stage, even if there's not a whole lot to say about it. It's a bit tricky to change rhythms throughout though! :eek:

Ok, those tutorials are getting really tedious now lmao. Still at least we're finally tackling the noodle chief head on!

So...the mother turns into a burger huh? lmao! I lol'd so much I could barely get ready to play the stage in time. It's just how all they do is widen her a bit and they call that being a burger haaa!

Woah now. Woah. Now. That's the end of the game already? That's pretty shocking :/. Anyways, this stage actually got tough towards the end :eek:. It's the first stage where we actually lose and that's just...gutting that it's right at the end.

Thanks for watching folks! While this game hasn't been amazing (I'll probably never touch it again), it had its moments. I quite liked the characters and the art style is great. The music and lyrics were so basic though and only 8 stages? One of those was a remix of some older ones too.

Either way, thanks again for hanging around during my break. There's one more episode of Parappa left and then we'll move onto the let's replay! That's something I've been looking forward to so much so I just can't wait to get started ha!
