GAME SCREENSHOT COMPETITION
GUIDELINES & DISCUSSION​

This contest is open for all members to enter. Please read the following guidelines carefully before participating. If you have any questions, please post them in this thread or message the section moderators.


GUIDELINES

• Participants may only submit one entry per contest.​

• Entries must be relevant to the theme.​

• Participants may not use screenshots taken by another person.​

• Screenshots are not to be edited by image editing software or through any other means. Participants can however resize their screenshot and/or add a caption (heading). Any picture edited beyond these parameters with be removed from the competition.​

• Screenshots from any gaming platform may be entered into the contest.​

• Participants cannot vote for their own entry in the voting threads.​

• Biased voting is strictly prohibited.​

INFORMATION

• The Game Screenshot Competition is a fortnightly event (2 weeks) with two themes being posted in advance for the month. Each theme and contest will have it's own two week deadline.​

• Every month a new thread will be open for participants to submit their entries for both themes (submissions do not have to be anonymous).​

• All entries will be posted to the forums' Imgur account in the relevant folder.​

• At the end of the fortnight a poll will be created where members can vote for their favourite screenshot. The poll will be open for one week.​

PRIZES

STANDARD COMPETITION

1st Place: 20 Gil + 3 CT + Entry featured in Favourites Category on FFF Imgur Account​

2nd Place: 15 Gil + 2 CT​

Participation: 10 Gil + 1 CT*​

Voting & Feedback: 5 Gil** + 1 CT​

BONUS COMPETITION

1st Place: 25 Gil + 5 CT + Entry featured in Favourites Category on FFF Imgur Account​

2nd Place: 20 Gil + 3 CT​

Participation: 15 Gil + 2 CT*​

Voting & Feedback: 5 Gil** + 1 CT​

* Participation awards included in 1st & 2nd place prizes
** Poll Voters Gil prize is awarded automatically upon vote submission to the GSC polls.


Members are free to use this thread for any discussion regarding the competition. Theme ideas or suggestions can also be posted below.

UPDATE

JANUARY 2016

• Starting this year, a special GSC Leaderboard will be in effect. For every five wins, participants will receive a beautiful GSC post-bit award! Click here to view!​

• Our 2nd Place winners will not be featured on the new Leaderboard but will receive sporadic bonus awards for participation and supporting the event.​

• This year's GSC will open on the 9thJanuary 2016, so stay tuned for the new themes! As always suggestions for future theme ideas is always welcome, so don't hesitate to post any you may have below!​

• Going forward, bonus GSC weeks will be awarded based on the number of entries submitted rather than run automatically on every other GSC event.​
