Has anyone of heard of this anime? It's about a popluar online game called "The World" and theres a boy character called Tsukasa who could log out of the game and wonders while inside the game. Other players are concern about him as well.

This anime is so awsome and it still continues this very day just with different anime and videogame of coarse.
 
I'm a huge .hack fan, I've seen SIGN and that's what got me hooked on it. There's not much action in the series but that's alright with me. The music is great, the show focuses mostly on character development rather than just focusing on just the main story.
 
Own it all, very clean animation and awesome soundtrack although for an anime based on an action-RPG it was quite slow in places. That didn't ruin it though since it was more to fill in the plot before the game series itself.
 
It's a great anime that was very intriguing.

I still want to play the game. The anime left me hanging especially at the end.
 
I own every game of .Hack so far released, I have beaten all of said games, and have also seen every episode of sign and chaos...
 
.hack//sign the manga was extremly short but it was pretty good. the second part of the manga for it though sucks becuase they turned it into an actual book! the anime was great a little long but great. the games on the ps2 were fun, hard, and great!
 
I've seen a couple episodes, this anime is very unique and I enjoyed watching those two episodes. Maybe i'll go out an buy it one day... :D

The .Hack// series is effing awesome!
And .Hack//sign is the one which started it all, with it's complicated storyline, the originality of it, and best of all, the awesomeness of The Game. :cool:
 
You really should start on the series then.
You'll know how it all started and went wrong, and you'll know more about Skeith as well.

They made a smart move by increasing the magnitude by tenfold for each passing series(don't count Legend of the Twillight).
Tsukasa(powerful with her defender) --> Kite(THE Legend) --> Haseo(Adept Rogue PKK)
 
I think I watched a couple of episodes, but I never was drawn in by this show. It just looked a little bit different from what I prefer, and so after those couple of episodes, I never really bothered watching it again.
 
I think they did release 4 animes first there was //SIGN, then there was //Legend of the Twilight, after the there was //ROOTS. The last series was short so short that it only had 4 episodes they released that one with the 4 .hack games.

bingo! got it right! and there is a 4th, that is not lables .hack but is with .hack//gu, it's called online jack, used as a news show in gu so it can feel more interactive.

I have the 4 .Hack// games for PS2, not the GU series yet. I only saw .Hack//SIGN as anime and I didn't really like it. It was all talk talk talk and nothing really happened. :/
