Hardest boss

who did you think was the hardest boss in final fantasy 8?
mine was probably diablos because i was weak whean i fought him
took me a few cures and a good few pheonix downs to beat him
 
the last time i got diablos, he actually helped me to obtain him...both zell and selphie were out of the fight and squall was down to the yellow, and diablos kept healing him, it was crazy and he kept it up long enough for me to take him down with limits and demi's...

I had a pretty tough time with the deep sea research center, and i found the weapon(omega or ultimate)pretty tough
 
This is kind of embarrassing, but when I first fought Rajin and Fujin the final time, I was able to beat Rajin, but Fujin kept killing all my characters. She was a complete badass.
 
Ultimacea. I must've faced her 10+ times. When I finally beat her, a critical HP Zell was hitting her for 13 HP each time and finally managed to knock her final thousan HP off. I hate that battle...
 
I will also have to say Ultimecia. The first (and only) time i beat her my characters were only level 60-ish and i didn't have any of the ultimate weapons or the best GFs. I kept using heroes (sacrificing one of my cards for 100 of them) and the GFs i did have. She kept attacking my GFs midway through their summoning just as the heroes wore off so once they were all dead i used magic like meteor and ultima to attack. Took about an hour to knock her down completely
 
I'd say Omega Weapon since he is the only one I haven't beat in the whole entire game yet. Jumbo Cactuar wasn't too hard for me, but he took forever to beat and I constantly just kept summoning Liviathan to defeat him.
 
[font color=green]I would have to say Ultimacea she was very hard. I used to get to the second part and died. I restarted the game like... 5-6 times to find and get all the summons to help me. Plus everyones limit things. Diablo was a piece off piss... Bahamut was hard to get as was, Doom train and Cactuar. Gf's are a pain to get. Pandora was quite difficult to battle. But Ultimacea... I hate her T_T
 
Omega weapon was WAAYY harder than ultimecea. Since I was about level 100, His health was about 1,400,000 if i remember right. That took FOREVER to kill him, and that damn Terra Break of his decimated my party. I hate this guy with a vengeance.....:mad:
 
yeah it has to be omega cause of his super powerful attacks
1 of them does 9999 to all your party no matter what your defence is unless you have heero thing
 
Ultimecia is easy if you have 100 Megalixirs :).
I have to say Omega Weapon since it is the only boss I havn't defeated in FF8.
 
To be honest i think that Diablos was a LOT harder than the last boss
Ultemicia/Grevier.... stat wise. i mean at the end your basically all built up to face her/him at the end, and you really dont need to DRAW anything from them cause you already have it. it was to easy for me along with the Ultima/Omega Weapons.
Diablos...you really need his magic DEMI to defeat him. Aside from the end bosses, your HP wasnt built up enough, so he could use Gravija and hit you physically and thatd be it.
Diablos got my hardest Boss Vote!
 
lolz am i the only one who found adel really hard, i had to start the game over again because i just could not take her down. so i would say that was the hardest one for me as i had to start the game again.
ultimaweapon was really hard for me as well because for somereason on my game i could not bring down my A team had to use irvine, who i never used before so was hard for me

All you have to is get her at 9000-9500 HP and use someone whoi has Kamikazi(must have high strength and luck attributes)
another way of defeating her is just causing pain and meltdown damage to her. and use a GF to finish her off( if there is one hit left for Adel, Rinoa WILL survive the Summon)

That is why i always train up every one of my party so they are all relativly the same level, because you never know when you will need to use one of them, like on disk 2 when you enter the missle base i got really stcku because seplhie and quistis were really weak, there was only zell who was good enough buh that did no favours.

I say Omega Weapon. Cuz it killed my party easily when I didn't level my party to maxed lvl. X.x Finally, my party was maxed lvl and tried to beat it, but still lose. Few days, I found out to beat it:
Put auto-haste on Zell.
Zell casts Aura on Rinoa & Squall.
Rinoa orders her dog to use Invincible Moon on my party.
Then... SPAM LIONHEART AND WISHING STAR!!! >:3 (alot of "9999" dmgs)
Now it got owned finally. :P 1 win and 7 loses. v.v
 
at first, diablos was a pain in the but until i figured out that i can stock his demi spell and send it right back at him and as well as the fact that he healed me every time i used demi.

for me, the omega weapon was the toughest boss in the game
 
Diablos was probably the hardest one. Practically all of the FFVIII bosses were really piss easy. There was one time where The Brothers (Minotaur and Sacred) were harder because I trained Squall up to level 100 at the beginning of the game and because they grew with his level they were able to smackdown my other lower level party members.
