used internet lingo in the real world?

i must say i am sad enough to have done so on numerous occasions, i just cant help but to say stuff like lol and XD
 
You say "XD" offline? I find that lame. I do sometimes say "lol" or maybe even "omg" or "OH EM GEE". Not too often though. haha.
 
can't help myself one bit, i am just too used to using it in posts that it becomes a part of my vocabulary without me realising

it mainly fixates around lol, OMG, XD and GTFO
 
Actually, a month after I joined this forum, I muttered 'lol' all throughout the day. :rolleyes:

I guess I don't now, but hey, it's summer and no one to talk to. :P
 
My God, I hate when I do but I'm guilty of it on very rare occasion. lol only comes out when I'm actually laughing and it somehow rolls off my tongue. I like half chuckle out each letter... you can't really hear it unless you listen but the tone of my laugh changes as it would when you say the word "lol". Other than that when I was in 8th grade I was into a thing where I pretended like I had a huge anime sweatdrop on my head when I was nervous. It didn't last long...
 
i mostly have that urge to say "lol", "lmao", "rofl", "roflcopter"(magnificent word btw), "omg"(as in oh em gee), "wtf"(like wu te fu)

but so far i've been able to surpress that urge and just laugh or say "oh my god" or what the *beep*

Hmm...I don't recall me ever doing that in front of someone, to be honest. I might have, but I certainly can't remember. I imagine that if I really do say "lol", it would sound a lot less amused. I laugh or chuckle, I don't say "lol"...although the word "lol" does mean "fun" in my language.;)
 
Yes, -_- I always say internet slang with my friends. We usually say to each other: "Oh em gee! Lawl, LOL, Omgz!,Q_Q more, LOL NOOB, GG cry more, lolnerd!, o rly!? ra rly, no wai!"

My boyfriend and I share 4chan jokes with each other. We also share Warcraft jokes with each other as well. "LOL Epic item!, / (emote), 50 minus dkp!, ninja looted"
 
lol no i havent my dialect is hard enough for others to understand without me speaking in internet talk.
Ive never herd sum1 speak like that either
 
Hell no. I'd get jumped if i said internet slang offline. The only thing i have said is 'O RLY" which i said before i was even on the internet, and "Uber" by mistake once.
 
No, I've never used net lingo offline. It pisses me off to no end when people actually say "LOL" instead of laughing like a normal person.
 
Only lulz and roffle. Everyone looks at me like I've had too much crack when I do. :wacky:
