I guess this is just to see what people think happens when they die. Do people believe if they are good and righteous that they will go to heaven? Or if they are bad and malicious they will go to hell? Or do people think they will be re-incarnated into another lifeform? Or Do people think when you die thats it and theres nothing else? I personally belive in the latter i think when you die you cease to be and there is nothing. No consciousness no hell no heaven your sins or good deeds have no bearing. I think we all just expire. This view may seem like i dont care at all but its quite the opposite. I want to be proved wrong. But until there is some solid proof i stand by my ideas.

No idea. Faith for me leads my belief of an Afterlife. Heaven or Hell would then be decided by my actions, good or bad. Of course, the bad goes to Hell, and the good, Heaven...

I hope it'll be reality though, people have described Heaven to be a great place, to go there some time would be nice, no doubt..

I don't believe I will go to heaven or hell when I die. I believe that when I'm dead I will just be dead, nothing more. I don't believe I will have any form of consciousness either when I die. Obviously I don't know for sure what will happen, but that's what I believe anyway.

As for what I would like to happen when I die, I am indecisive. Some sort of afterlife would be nice, being able to see the friends and family I'd lost would be pleasant. But for some reason a certain part of me would like eternal rest. The way I see it is that if there is no afterlife and my consciousness dies with my body, I wouldn't be able to care that there is no afterlife (if that makes any sense).

In a way I prefer believing that there is no afterlife, as it makes me appreciate this life more and it makes me feel more relaxed and less pressured because I believe everything I do is technically pointless in the end.

I too would like to belive in some afterlife but i find it just too farfetched to be what actually happens.
Actually I think you misunderstood me a little. I don't exactly want to believe in an afterlife. But if I discover there is one after I've died I would gladly accept it. In other words I don't really mind either way, If life ends in nothingness so be it, if there is an after life so be it.

The only thing which I would not want, is to be reincarnated, as that would mean that I would be some one else and I would lose my identity. I would rather die into nothingness than continue living a pointless cycle where I would change who I am over and over again.

I can definitely relate. Being reincarnated seems far more cruel to me than the concept of hell. Its like losing everything you hold dear or anything you happened to like about yourself. Seems completely unfair.

How so?
When you die you lose everything anyway. Reincarnation is when you are born again, you aren't born with memories of your lovely wife and beautiful child etc. It's just a whole new start.
I personally, though with a rather large amount of skepticism, believe in reincarnation. Though the nominalist in me refutes what seems to be a highly improbable occurance. However my subconscious cannot accept that I will cease to be ( which is perhaps slightly egotistical:monster:).

I am at a fair standstill in a afterlife situation.

My standards and ways find themselves point towards neither heaven, hell, or rebirth, but all three. I will not state Heaven as heaven or Hell as hell, for names are meerly titles given by beings to make organization and remembrance easier. I will state that whichever, Heaven and Hell, I believe most will not hold many promises, but many wishes. I am also a strong believer in some having a reincarnation process, but that is just how I am. It would not matter, for all things must end eventually, afterlife or not.

Faith, in turn, gives me reason to tell others not to give up or scorn faiths of themselves or others. There is no telling what the ending of one's life beholds, so there are many doors to many paths that can be taken.

In this post, I shall wipe out Modern church ethics.

I do not need to be coaxed with currency to be a moral person. Streets of gold and foundations of jewels....as number one, without physical form I feel no need to replenish my body...muchless indulge in excess. Number two...iys Christian and Jesus spoke in parables an therefor visions of heaven are metaphorical. Their Word says, "Thy Kingdom come, thy will be done on earth as it is in Heaven. And also, "The Kingdom of Heaven is within." Meaning within the consciousness, within the vessel of clay, where Heavenly Family resides, according to Christians. Father, Mother and Jesus.

I am a Christian Mystic.

Finally, Hell is metaphorical as well. No flesh....no reaction to flame. Sorry. In the vision of Hell, the man looked out over a vast expanse and saw people burning. Parabolically, if a person is aflame, they are lit up by desire. This is righteous Desire, or that which you have been assigned by God to do for the betterment of all mankind. A Passion burning withing you. And you know this desire, but you cannot reach it because certain ingrained, mindsets stand in the way, and if we were to view masses unable to reach their righteous desire, we would see a lake of fire. As a Christian Mystic, I believe access to righteous desire requires constant relationship with my Heavenly Family.

They speak through the language of thought association. Its a literal transmission. Lyrics playing in your head out of no where? That is Them talking to you. Images in your head that are dark? Metaphorically interpret them. Apply them to your life. There are no voices telling you to hurt anyone...

If you have a question I can explain. But if you have a relationship with Christ, it means you are under covenant and not judgment. There is a gift that comes with that. Its called access to collective consciousness. You can exchange lyrics or images with other people. Collective Consciousness is the Bride of Christ. Not the smattering of Steeples across the map.

Heavenly Family loves you all and wishes you to know their language of thought...so listen to the music They write for you and through you in your head throughout your lives... and watch your minds eye. And please...respond. You don't like to be ignored, do you? Neither do they.

I might have already sent you something in a transmission. To send something all you have to ask Jesus and thank Him for His Mercy, because without His sacrifice we could not communicate. I could send you a whole song...but you could send one too.

I do not believe in the afterlife nor the continuation of any greater form of existence after the body has, medically speaking, declared deceased. One, the hell is already create on Earth, therefore, when we die, we simply cease to exist. The purpose of humans were to live forever (according to major Christian folklore) in a paradisaical world were neither pain, nor sorrow, nor death would exist. However, I tend to view that theory as too optimistic simply because, if life were so perfect, there would be no need for developing the human race due to the fact that everything would be so easily achieveable. Most of the technology and the knowledge we have was born out of searching for a necessity and a method in order to fill that necessity. Ergo, no necessity equals no reason whatsoever to look for a way to fill such needs. All science would revolve thus around basic science, or the pursuit of knowledge simply to learn. Then again, if we are perfect and already have it all, why would someone need to look for more knowledge?

Another good question is, that if humans reproduce and if "nobody" dies, will Earth have an endless amount of space for new generations of immortals? Or will we move on and live on other planets?

Also, what would be the purpose of sending someone to heaven after that person dies? To prove if they are worthy? Why? Wouldn't it be easier to just grant them access? If an angels such as divine, beautiful and pure as "Lucifer", bringer of light, was easily corrupted by jealousy (because he had free will), what makes us believe that we can't be corrupted after our ascension?

Creating humans for them to live on Earth and then for them to go to heaven completely kills the purpose of the planet. Hence why I do not believe that all humans can go to heaven, or that children have a one-way free pass to heaven simply because they are "innocent".

In my case, I would like to achieve immortality to live watching over future generations, but in Earth not in Heaven. Besides, most of the people (NOT ALL) that attend Church (any) are hypocrites whom I have seen being double-faced people who are as "saint" and "holy" as an angel when in Church, and as "cruel", "egotistical", and "insane" like a demon.

Oh and according to Christian folklore here are a few facts:

1. Mary is the mother of JESUS, not the mother of GOD.
2. Jesus is the SON of GOD, not GOD itself.
3. God was once alone.
4. Jesus (Christ) was created first, and then through him all things were created (hence why he is dubbed the prime architect or whatever...). However, he IS NOT as equal as GOD.
5. Lucifer was not always a Devil named Satan. He was one of the purest, most beautiful, and vaine of all angels. And he had also a very high rank in the heaven hierarchy.
6. Demons were once angels as well.
7. Angels were stripped of their free will. (Or they have sworn to never commit the same sin of others before them [the angels who became Demons])
8. When Jesus was born (as human), it was not Winter...it was Spring. >_>
9. There's no actual evidence that states that Jesus was born on December 25. Actually that date was the date of birth of another deity whose name I can't remember.
26. Many pagan religions (or heathens) have had a great influence on what has now become the modern Christianity. Some of the current traditions were inherited from heathens as well who were turned (willingly or not) to Christianity).
27. Man loves to call the name of God whenever humans want to declare a war or commit mass murder.
28. Either side always declares that God is with them (Nazis believed the same >_>)
29. The nails used in Jesus's execution pierced his wrists, not the palms of his hands. The body weight would have probably torned his hands, therefore, the most accurate region to place the nails was right through his wrists.
30. Many atrocious crimes were committed on the name of God. Ironic really...it was all for the control and power.
31. Humans tend to forget God when they are happy, however, the complete opposite happens when they are in need...(there are exceptions of course)
32. And more important...no one EVER follows the rule "Judge not, least ye be judged"...there will always be a bit of prejudice or bias towards a person, and seeing that we are children of God and inherited much of its traits, we tend to believe we can always "judge" others as if they were below us...

And that's all for now :monster:

I believe there is a heaven, reincarnation, a temporary limbo or earthbound type realms, but no hell. That last tidbit about hell is apart of my Universalism beliefs.
