weeeeeell i know most people on here are ffx veterens who will scoff when they hear my problem. but i cant defeats seymour first time around! i know what to do, but its so hard getting everything right! any advice? how did you do it?

hmmm well it changes. yuna, kimahri and lulu at the moment. the thing is, if i dont send in the aeon at the right time then seymours...thing....overdrives my charactors instead. and it just takes soooo long

When you saw Anima [the big evil personification of death aeon], did you automatically go to Yuna, and summon ???? [the mysterious aeon]?

Now, which Seymour are referring to? You have to fight him quite often in this game. Are you talking about the very first time you fight Seymour?

use the nul spells, seymor will always attack in a certain patern using the spells... thats how i beat him. Just use yuna to cast nul fire, nul blizzard etc... he attacks are as follows. Ice, lightning, water, fire, then back to the beginning... use kimarihis stone breath to get rid of the guado...

Or if you don't have Stone Breath, have Rikku on and haver her steal steal steal.

EDIT: I would advise haveing 2 people that can cast the nul spells (altho it could be a bit late for that) because he has double cast the second time you fight him.

thanks for all your help guys! i actually didnt look on here for a while (computer broke :<) and i managed to work out an easier way than i was doing to do it, but its really nice that you all bothered to try and help . this is a friendly forum
