Help With Zodiark

Can someone please help with the Esper, Zodiark. I do great until he becomes immune to both physical damage and magick damage. He's almost dead but he just won't die.

the paling ( phisical inmune ) last till he's dead so forget about the phisical damage

the magic barrier ( magic inmune ) last very little and the lapse between one and another barrier is pretty considerable, then you have to reflectga or equip opal ring, after that, scathe on your party and you will harm zodiark by double.



You just have to see very well when the magic barrier is not working.

also make sure you equip black masks cause it help when he uses dark attacks

Thanks, but does anyone know any strategies or set of gambits I should use, I'm at Lv. 77-78 and still can't beat him. My strongest weapon that I use against him would probably Excalibur, which I equip to the person I have Berserk, Bravery, Haste, Protect and Shell. The others are healing and delivering other damage possible, and that's gets him down fast until the palings come up.

i wouldnt use berserk cause you might need to use him for healing
when the magic paling goes down change
party leader target: instead of attack to scathe or scourge

I would say the easiest way to beat him is do a 8 or nine combo quickening once he is near death, like 1/8th HP or so. That is right before he does that annoying pailing crap and you should be able to kill him right there. It worked for me.
