Ive encountered him (and cant go back)

I Can kick his ass no problem... until.... He gets to his last stage, and he keeps putting me to sleep, and then im stuck, and cant do a thing. I Havent got no Barrier materia etc, nor any haste to speed up my turn.

Anyone else have a solution for my problem? Ill try list my materia if i can remember.

thats basically it, nothing strong, but it works up until this bit.

Any tips would be helpful! & i havent got W-Item, or W-Materia coz i dont know where to find it.
 
Don't you have appropriate accessories to deal with sleep? I'm positive that there are boxes in the surrounding area, which hold at least one item immune to the sleep status.

...besides that, I'm stumped. I could only suggest holding your limit breaks off until his final form and then just going crazy.

What kind of Enemy Skills do you have?
 
I believe Lara is right. If memory serves, there is indeed an accessory granting sleep immunity on the way to Hojo. If you don't have the items, have your party members attack eachother to wake em up. I forget if he does a mass sleep cast though, or just casts it on your party in succession. Been awhile :P

Damn, it HAS been awhile...I forget exactly which point this fight is in the game, but I think it's in the later portion. Your materia configuration needs a little work. Summon materia are your friends, spam them as many times as you can, if you've leveled them. If you have to, start farming battles and gain some XP for your party and materia.
 
I cant Get chance to use Remedy's to wake them up, or hit them, Cause he keeps using combo, as if hes been injected with haste... he does 3 shots to my 1... But ive got barrier, and stop now, maybe it'll help some. And yes it gives u items to prevent sleep, but on the pc its slow. And by time i select it, hes put me asleep again.

I Dont use summon, dont need them anyother time. I Usually crucify other bosses, i think id just messed up completely.
 
Well, the Bahamut's really help (Bahamut, Neo Bahamut and Bahamut Zero) they do a lot of damage. Less useful at the end, but they help through the course of the game.

And ahh, having a framerate issue?
 
Ive now got, Mime, Ultima, Stop, Wall, Reflect, DeSpell, DeBarrier.. Etc.. so now im going to try again. Should get it this time round.. with an extra 5 levels aswell.
