would anyone be willing to join and post in an rp following lines very close to the star ocean the last hope game story? im hoping to open up all races except the phantom/grigori. Morphus will be appearing late on im hoping for just human / eldarians to begin with though lemurians, featherfolk and others will open up as the story progresses... so who is interested?
 
If you'd said Star Ocean: Till the end of time, I would jumped on in a heartbeat..but the last hope? Meh, no thanks.


In fact, if you don't start a Star Ocean 3 RP yourself, I sure as heck will lol


edit: I feel dumb I didn't think of it earlier! SO3...man tears were shed when I played that game again recently after so long. I still love that game.
 
i have the unfortunate life, having only played last hope, i would be willing to play any star ocean rp if you want to start one... im sorry last hope isnt to your liking.
 
i liked them all, if you just do a star ocean in general I would join :D (that might be a bit too big though...hmm...idk.. but I like star ocean so im all for it)

I have an idea for the plot of this Star Ocean Roleplay, and I love the idea.

Star Ocean Online.


The plot: In our world, a Star Ocean Action-based MMORPG is made. (Think like the game Vindictus, but set in the world of Star Ocean and with fully customizable characters like most MMOS and all characters can have both magic and melee combat if they wish. In this MMO, players mysterious begin to vanish from our world, their souls trapped inside their player characters within the game. In addition, if the player character contains their players soul: they actually feel any pain their character would endure, and unless they have a re-vive spell used, if their character dies, they die. The public thus bans the game from being played anymore, however cannot shutdown the servers for fear of killing all of the players the second they do. Left with a "What have we done" situation, underground groups are also formed.

Thus the groups of what you can be are as follows:
1. A player trapped within their character in the world.
2. A member of a group of players dedicating their time to playing the game normally (but are not trapped themselves), in order to try to free the players.
3. Players playing the game illegally for any number of their own reasons.




Did I jump the shark of your expectations or any of you like this idea?

That's fine. I'm going to buy the game for a friend so he can help with the roleplay anyways.


It'll be based on the Star Ocean: Till the End of Time stuff mostly, but will have some of the planets from the other games possibly just for kicks.
