That's right Iron Man. From the pages of a comic book to the big screen.

It was more than I ever expected it to be. Action with little pieces of humor throughout. I'm surprised at how well they made the story. And I especially love how they used the armor that he currently wears in the comics.

I may find a few flaws with it when I think about it tomorrow, but right now, in my mind it was perfect.

I was gonna check it out, but it turned out it wasn't set for a midnight release over here. I was working when the first showings began, I think.

Definitely wanna see it, though. Especially if it's perfect. haha

The only thing I've ever liked about Iron Man is his aesthetics...So a movie seems like that's where the Stark-man belongs (& I look forward to seeing this...what a great casting choice for Tony btw, right?)...god I hate Tony Stark most of the time, though...This is me hoping the Avengers movie doesn't suck...

I actually want to see this film which is more than what I can say but most other comic book-to-film releases. Looks as if its actually worth watching and not going to be a complete cock up el Spiderman 3 stylie.

However I will most likely be wrong, whats the verdict on that front?

I think they try to make one or two good ones to sucker you in to the trilogy which they get lazier with as they go along...or so it seems so far...hmmmm...

i enjoyed all of the Comic to movie Films i have watched (spider man, X-men
and Daredevil) and i hope that when i see Iron man i will like it just as much, if your saying it's perfect then i might just have to get my self some money and get down to the Cinema to watch it

Not so much that they got lazy (wasn't exactly wooed with the first two ether) but how they cocked up the story. They should have kept it to how the comics were abit more, not completely destroy Venoms image.>_<

However 'emo'-Peter was funny as fuck and entertaining, I'll give it that much.

I really want to see this film, I love the X-men film series, and the two Spiderman films I saw were pretty amazing, so I have high expectations for this film.

Never read the comic either, so I won't be like, heartbroken if it isn't true to it :monster:

One thing I have to say is that
when you see Jim Rhodes in thebasement looking at the other armor, you just think to yourself ;
put it on. and they didn't mess with the story too badly, and they definitely did now pull another spiderman 3.

I've heard good (and bad) things about it and going to see it next weekend. Looks decent going with the trailers and should be an enjoyable watch while I'm waiting for DK and Hellboy 2.

Also I'm wanting to see the scene at the end of the credits.

I'm most likely going to see this tomorrow night. I don't know anything about Iron Man, never read the comics, etc. So I doubt I'd be disappointed if it didn't really follow up with the original story or something. I saw the trailer some months ago, and it looked quite interesting, so I'm looking forward to it.

did not ? or did? haha

can't wait to see it. thx for the quick reveiws .. maybe I'll see it tonight!

Im going to see it in a few hours with my boyfriend. He cant wait. It'll be interesting for me as I didnt watch much Iron Man growing up and I think it looks fantastic.

Well if you are not completely familar with Iron man this is a great movie. of course there are some pieces of comedy, that only a comic book reader would get.

Its a great film, no one will be disappointed, methinks. For a full review go to the "Last Movie" thread up top.

omg. GREAT MOVIE.. everyone needs to stay for the ending AFTER THE CREDITS.. its freakin amazing. samuel l. jackson is in the final cutseen and the talk about the avenger with mr.stark

OMFG! This was the best comic to movie film done in a very long time! Tony Stark was so well done. I love the lack of romance too. I liked it even better than Batman Begins. If you are going to see it, make sure you don't leave until AFTER the closing credits since there is a special scene. My mind is still blown away....

Blah, the previews for it in theaters for the past few months didn't look to interesting, which is why I saw Forgetting Sarah Marshal and Baby Mama first. It sounds like everyone loves it, so I'll probably see it sometime this week even though I don't like the leading actor OR Iron Man. xD

It had better be better than Spiderman 3. :P
