Ive finally got FFVII on my PSP, wanna See?

How do you do it? I'd be interested if i could make this work on my (brothers) PSP, but im guessing it requires a shitload of memory.

Thats extremly cool and I do feel like an explanation is in order, I was with it until the gameplay images, your saying you have a playable version of FF7 on the PSP??

It's called chipping your PSP. If you chip it, you can play practically any PSX game on your PSP. Pretty pricey though, if you don't go to the right place. I planned on doing this to mine a while back. ^__^

XD
I completely forgot that I had planned on chipping my PSP. Now that you remind me, it would be a most wise decision indeed. ^__^
The PSP is also remaking a few different old RPG games like Star Ocean, and they have all the new FF titles coming out like crisis core and FF Tactics. ^__^

I also have VII on my PSP, along with VI, IX and a couple of other PS1 games. It doesn't require chipping. ;) There are a few things one must download of the 'net to do it, and there's a risk you'll "brick" your PSP. In this case, you'll have to buy a new one.

I'm not sure how to do this, since my ex did it for me. It involved de-grading the software, upgrading it to something else and installing something, I think. There are guides on some sites.

Wow. I already planned on getting a PSP at some point, but this definitely shoots it up the priority list. If I can find a cheap way of getting this done it would make my year. I feel like playing FFVII now...

i sure wish i had a psp as of right now. what more could you ask for then all of your favorite ff titles on the go? also, even if i had one, i would have no idea how to do this.

Got FFVII on my PSP a long time ago :P It's very easy to do and you wont break your psp as long as you read the instructions carefully.. If anyone wants help doing this kinda thing I could help if you PM me or something.

I like the background with characters btw ^^

Yeah, your very unlikely to brick your PSP unless you do something very stupid. It's more just a warning so that the creators of the emulators cannot be put at fault.

Is it avalible through the PS3 now. If you didn't already know you can plug your PSP into your PS3 and download games and put them on it for a small fee ^_^

Well...*looks in PSP Games folder*

VI takes up less than 200MB
Disk 1 of FFVII takes up 530MB
Disk 1 of IX takes up 485MB

VIII sadly has errors. The game freezes when magic is used, but just so y'know it takes up 557MB.

Remember you only need to have one disk on there at a time. =] Since the memory card will know you're on disk 2 when you reach the end of disk 1. There are things you have to do to ensure it reads the data as being from the same game, but otherwise it all works fine. :)

Actually it depends on the custom firmware you are using. Some could support FF8 better than other :monster:

ive also got this on my psp with 3.50 oe-a. You would need a pretty lengthy tutorial on how to downgrade/upgrade ur psp but theres always a chance ur gonna brick it (break your whole psp) if u dont do it right.
