Do you guys play FF's on a regular basis? like, are you guys usually in the process of playing FF's? cuz if i could i would be.

I make it a point to not play videogames while i'm at school. (gotta get good grades if i wanna get into med school). Anyways, i've got the itch. it's been about 7 months since i last played a final fantasy.

so, how long have you guys gone without playing an FF?

But yea, I definitely love playing Final Fantasy and if I go too long without it, I definitely feel myself fading away. I get FF cravings. Can never go too long without a phoenix down or cure spell ... or I'd just fade away. I know when I took a break from these boards, I pretty much took a break from anything FF related. And I honestly feel like I need to get back into playing them again. I honestly want to play FFX again for some reason...
 
I can't go to long without playing at least one game. When I only had VII, Id manage afew months before I decided I needed to start playing it again, noew my problem is I have so many games I dunno what to play. BUT I generally still get twitchy if I havent bothered playing anything for a few months, not that Ive let it go on that long recently - Ive been playing one gaem after another >_>
 
Hmm nowadays i cant say im bothered. Ive played them all umpteen times, so im not reallly fussed whether im playing them or not. When i was younger aswell i would be constantly playing them, as soon as i completed one i would play the next game. I recently played VI, never completed it tho. Its usuallyFFVII - FFX that when i do get urges, theyre the ones i wanna play. I thought of playing VIII recently but due to the lack of a configured ps3 i cant play anything>_<

Yeah i can't live without playing final fantasy for too long it's like the best games ^_^
I'm recently playing V11 haha, kind of stuck at a boss. I'll get through it though xD imma pro at Final fantasy games :smartass:
 
Final Fantasy is my favourite video game series, hence why I'm here. But I don't really feel the need to play a FF game everyday. The last time I played a FF game was about 3 months ago.

Right now, I'm trying out a lot of new games because tbqh I was starting to get a little bored after playing FFII and X-2 back to back. I didn't really find those games as enjoyable as some of the other FF games, so I decided to give myself a little break so the series wouldn't become dull for me.

I've been saving FF:Tactics for a good while now so I might give it a try soon. But for now, I'm quite happy with playing different games. Being here has definitely helped keep my interest in FF alive what with the endless discussions on just about everything FF related. But I don't exactly feel an urge to pick up a FF game, rape it, kill it, dump it in the river and then run for congress.
 
I have an itch to play all the games at some point...i have a very hard time playing traditional turnbased rpgs more than once. I am playing V right now on the GBA and am probably gonna pick up Anthology on the PS1 so I can replay VI again though. Over the last 4 or 5 years I have played (X, VII, IV, XII, VIII, VI, IX, and now V) So i have played quite a few in 4 or 5 years
 
I had gone about three or four years without touching one, and then randomly got the obsessive urge to own and play them all. I now own all of the ones I care to and am in the process of playing through them. I am in law school and find that (when I can) a 15 minute chunk of playing time is a welcome relaxation technique

I am in school and a 15 minute chunk is not enough for me unless I am just leveling up...these FF games can be so engaging its hard to put them down. I play most of mine over summer and winter breaks where it wont distract me from my school work. I want to finish V soon so i can start on VI again, i have a huge itch to play that one again
 
Its actually been a couple of months since I've played an FF game. Lately I've only really been playing my hand helds when I'm going and coming from work >__<
 
I usualy try to finish one a month. Most of the time it's more than one but i am always casually playing them in between other games :)
 
I've probably gone 8/9 months without playing an FF title, but it really doesn't bother me because whilst FF is my favourite series it's not my favourite genre of game so I tend to have something else to play and even then I've gone 7/8 months before without touching a next-gen console so I could a while without playing FF. :)
 
I completed VII again just over a month ago, I'm at the end of III on the DS and rather far into XII. I'll be beginning IV on DS soon too.
I like to be playing at least one FF title on the side of all my other games. :)
 
I just finished V and am now playing VI again, I've had this itch to replay it and I am...first traditional turnbased rpg I have played more than once!
 
I really only get hardcore into games when I'm stressed out and need to fuck off from reality. So usually around exam time, and especially in the spring, I get the urge.

I can't imagine one a month, though. I would have no GPA and no life. Well...less of a life squandered in other diversions...
 
I've went a while without a Final Fantasy just recently, so I decided to pick it back up. I'm hooked. :P Playing through FFX-2 and already planning a second playthrough with a 100% completetion goal. ^^; It's a hard habit to shake!

When I go for a while without FF I don't get withdrawal symptons, haha, I just kinda get... urges. "Ooh I just feel like running through a Disc of FF8" or "Maybe I'll max out my characters on X" ... stuff like that.
 
Right now my hiatus has probably been the longest I think. I mean I try to give FF3 a go every now and then, but I just can't get into it since it's on a handheld for some reason. What I mainly crave though are the main games, the new stories, the new characters, I can't wait for the next installment to be released.

I think the other time was when we were all waiting for FFXII to come out. I mean sure I had played and beaten FFV and FFVI inbetween FFX-2 and FFXII, but there was quite a gap between FFVI and FFXII. I tried Dirge of Cerberus, beat it, but it wasn;t enough. Being hooked on a main game in the series though, always a blast!
 
I usually have at least one Final Fantasy going at all times. Sometimes i don't play it for a few months but i'll eventually get back into it. I like to have a final fantasy going because it keeps me entertained. It's one of my favourite series so its hard to not play it for awhile. Sometimes i'll try to start one but get really bored. I usually just wait a few months to wanna get back into it.
 
I try and play them regularly, I'm currently playing IX, and should be advancing on XII, but I'm very slow on doing that. I can be terribly lazy sometimes. But then again I do have like wii fit and animal crossing, and that can take up some time.
