Kingdom Hearts: Birth by Sleep is less than four months away. Square Enix set September 7 as the game’s release date in North America. Three days later, Europe gets the game on September 10.

“We hate to keep fans waiting, but we’ve added some brand-new features for the North American version, so even those who have been following the Japanese version are sure to find a few surprises,” said Tetsuya Nomura, the Director of Kingdom Hearts: Birth by Sleep. The prequel to Sora’s story made its debut in Japan this past January. New features for the North American release include more multiplayer options, an additional boss, and “Crown Stickers” a reward system where you earn prizes by putting stickers into an album.

Additionally, the game will also be available bundled with the mystic silver PSP in North America. The as of now Gamestop-exclusive Entertainment Pack will include Kingdom Hearts: Birth by Sleep, a PSP, a 4GB memory stick, and a movie. Sony are keeping what movie it is under wraps for now though.

Kingdom Hearts: Birth by Sleep will retail for $39.99. Pricing for the bundle has not been announced.

September 10th is.....a little later than what I anticipated. :hmmm:

Still, at least we know when it's coming out now. It would have been nice to have it out sometime in the summer when I have plenty of time and when there's a game drought.

I'm looking forward to it - I just hope my rather old PSP doesn't break down before then.
 
I need to whine again. NA gets the PSP bundle, how about us :sad3:

September/October is late summer/early autumn...

And who the heck are all those people? I don't even know at least two people, one of them being Jesse McCartney.
 
I think they need to get their seasons straight. -__-

I'm sure the "extra features" aren't even that exciting, and they're still having it released extremely late.
 
Hmm...I'll probably ask for it for my birthday, then, unless I have nothing to play at that point in time (highly unlikely) and/or just feel like it...or there is a shiny special edition announced that I suddenly want to buy. I'm going to make BBS the first KH game I don't put down in disgust...or try to, anyway.

I've got enough going on with my PSP at the moment, and it isn't that high on my list. I'm content to wait ♥
 
Awww...I expected the end of July, but the beginning of September? Are you serious? :ness:

There better be more scenes in the Western version than >_>

Ah well. I guess that I can just fangasm some more then. As long as they make the game extra special and there are no mistsakes in localization for making us wait this long, then I am fine with waiting a little more :)
