I didn't see a thread for this, and I have to wonder if anyone but me uses. I love it.

It's really convenient to have all those charts and data right there, and I have a thing for that sort of stuff. Just don't scoff at my pop music. :sup:
 
Is it free to join? I used to use it as a non-member for a few songs I couldn't find on Youtube, but then they shortened the preview length from full song to thirty seconds -__- However if it's free, it might be worth a look :hmmm: I already have Pandora (which I love :jess:), but still...:hmmm:
 
There is a thread already, but it's been quite a while since it has had a post and I am not sure if it still exists or not.

My account is http://www.last.fm/user/TrueArgor if anyone wants me, or wants to see what I've listened to since 2008.

I've not been online in a while, but I do check it occasionally. I use it more to check up on what I listen to via my ipod and itunes than I do to find music, but it is very good to find new music based on the music it notices that you listen to when you listen to anything on your computer.

It is very free. At least it was when I signed up. If they've changed that then it sucks, but it's always been a free thing as far as I know.
 
I never really used last.fm before since I get most of my music from recommendations on a music site I frequent. I might as well make one now though I guess.

If you click on some of the songs they will have play features or youtube videos on the song page. That's not the case with all of them.

If you were to download the Last.fm program to go with the website then you'd get the Last.fm radio and can play anything that you have in your library or artists that Last.fm recognises as being similar to ones you already like.

Last.fm is more a way to keep track of what your tastes are, and to listen to song recommendations with the Last.fm radio if you wish to.
