That's right, I love her beautiful voice and she's the best winner to come out of The X Factor. She's managed to get her album, Spirit, to the No. 1 spot in the UK charts as well as her songs, A Moment Like This and Bleeding Love. Both have reached the No. 1 spot with Bleeding Love taking No. 1 spots in Europe. So you really can't fault this young talent.

Here are some links of her music:

A Moment Like This
Bleeding Love
Bleeding Love (US Version)
Better In Time
Footprints In The Sand
Run

Lately, Footprints In The Sand just makes me want to cry. Know why? Just look at the video.

Now speaking further, anyone here love her faultless voice?

Bleeding Love was at the top spot for ages, because it's an amazing song, I liked her version of a moment like this too. I think she's the best winner of the X-Factor ever, Leon has nothing on her.

I'm not really one for X Factor and wotnot, I only watch it the first few weeks for the crap people, and I generally don't like anyone that's in it, but I have to admit Leona does have one f the most amazing voices EVER. I only realy like Bleeding Love, not really paid any attention to any of her other songs, but that is a really good song.

And now I must go listen to some decent music to cleanse my soul after that shocking confession :wacky:

I hate the concept of the X Factor. Every year another shit pop singer gets put onto the market to annoy us with a sub-par song, followed by an equally as bad album with a few covers and some original writings. Then they fade into nothing, the only reason that they do so well is because they were on telly for a few weeks. Leona Lewis is no exception to that. She absolutely ruined Run by Snow Patrol, and her album is dire.

Care to argue with that now that she's broken records and cracked America?

All that proves is the public will eat up what's put on the plate in front of them. I'll admit that she's managed to have better staying power than any other X Factor winners, but she won't be around for much longer.

Well, the last time you said that, these things happened. So perhaps what happens from now is even bigger? Time will only see. Though I'm starting to think that one X Factor participant this year could almost be on a par with Leona. I'm not revealing who, but it's not hard to guess when you really think about it ...

By the sounds of it, her cover of Run is going to be number 1 by the weekend. Which brings her total of UK Number 1's to 3, and 5 top 5 singles. Definitely better than any other X Factor winner. I think Leona will be around for a long time, because she's actually very talented and versatile.

I've fallen in love with Run. While Snow Patrol's version is good, I think Leona's version is better with all the emotion and voice. I really thought it was her own song before finding out Snow Patrol sang it. Well ... it's already number one in Ireland. No doubt it's going to be number one here, too!

Diana, obviously. :gmonster:

Leona's not bad - she's bearable. Bleeding Love made my brain bleed as much as the song was played, though. The rest of her songs are all right, I suppose. The only thing that I can comment on is how irritating it is to hear that so many people think Run is her original song.

Shit pop singer?? Are you saying she cant sing? Because if thats what your implying then you are mistaken friend.
She has got an amazing voice, really outstanding. Although her music in no way caters to my preferred choice of listening. I think her version of run is really good to be honest not on par with the original but i like it anyways.
Shes also pretty hot aswell i think, shes got a rather large nose but still...i would.

Leona doesn't even need makeup to look pretty either! She's got such an amazing face. And I knew you'd only say that, Dave ... just because the band are Scottish. :wacky:

I think he meant that he disliked the music, he didn't say her voice was rubbish. Frankly her voice is good on a technical level, but she's given poor boring songs to sing so it's pretty much wasted. But what constitutes a good voice is a very objective thing anyway - Bob Dylan for example has a pretty rough, raspy voice which would get laughed off a reality show in the first round (OK leave aside the fact that a musician like that would not go on a reality show to begin with), but it works perfectly for what he sings and is extremely distinctive. So it's hard to define what a good singer is. Either way my point stands, a voice is nothing without good songs to back it up, and I don't think Leona Lewis has them.

Though I largely agree with Drugs about The X Factor, and the fact that most people from it fade away, I suspect Leona Lewis will continue to prove a rare exception.

Really? If it's true, then I never knew that. Irrespective of this knowledge, it annoys me for no other reason than the fact that Leona appears to be getting more credit for the song than Snow Patrol did, purely due to her higher profile - Snow Patrol are better.

I won't argue with you here, but I still think Leona is better. Whilst I do acknowledge that Snow Patrol should have the credit for making and writing the song, you gotta admit that Leona's made it sound so incredible and breathtaking.

That's exactly what I meant. She does have a decent voice, but she could do so much better than what she has done. The songs she goes for are just terrible.

And I'll say again that she's absolutely ruined Run. I don't know why she thought it'd be a good idea, and she didn't even do the full version. D:

Wasnt run recorded on radio1 live lounge? I think thats why it could be cut down by a couple of minutes, usually live lounges are shorter i think. Anyway how come you didnt like it?

To be fair it's not like Snow Patrol are short of commercial success themselves and Run was a big hit for them too at the time.

It could be worse anyway, it could be Hallelujah, which is certainly going to be murdered by whoever wins X-Factor this year :(

Because Leona Lewis doesn't do the song any justice. Her voice may be good, but it's quite monotonous and boring, which Run is not.

Although theres a lot of people who would argue that run was a boring song to begin with. Not me personally though. I dunno i liked her version, i think she did something a bit different with it. Better than a lot of the cover songs performed on radio1 anyway.
