Hey guys, here's my new series! Ico is a "puzzle-platformer", according to the official genre, but I'd consider it more of just an action game with a few puzzles sprinkled throughout. It was developed by Team Ico and published by Sony Computer Entertainment.
If you want to buy the game for yourself, you can either grab the PS2 version for a wee bit of a high price by this point, or go for the PS3 version. The PS3 version also has Shadow of the Colossus on the same disc and is all HD (and 3D if you're into that sort of thing). As a third option, you could buy the PS3 version off PSN for around £10.
Anyways, this is one of those games that really sticks out in my mind for being incredibly minimalistic but at the same time stunning to look at and listen to. There's nothing complicated about the gameplay mechanics, but it's such a nice bit of architecture to explore.
Ok, so here's the opening. I hope the quality is ok...gimme a shout if there's anything wrong or if you just want to talk about the game in general :
Thank you! We'll kick the game off tomorrow!
P.S. This may not be a daily series considering the high picture quality needed to fully enjoy the game. It should normally be daily but the odd day may be skipped .
