Here it is folks: my newest let's play series! I noticed that Beat The Beat was probably a bit too...weird to be mainstream, so I've gone for a recommendation this time around. I was gonna play it soon anyways...ANYWAY! Resident Evil Zero is the prequel to the original Resi game, but was made a few years after it. It's probably the last resi game to be old-school resident evil.

Zero was made by Capcom and licensed by Nintendo. There's no talk of Zero being remade (HD-ified) in the style of CVX or Resi 4 as of yet...but hopefully one day :gonk: . Anyways, this is the game with the partner system that was later added to Resi 5 (although it was modified). Each of the 2 characters has a special, unique skill that helps them through the nightmare. Splitting up happens a lot...this is no walk in the park folks.

Anyways! First up, I'd like to throw a video here showing the Gamecube's main menu along with a very quick update about what's coming. It's a bit random but...it's my thread dammit! *slams table* :

http://youtu.be/fbkzx-Zxly0

And more importantly, and probably more relevantly, we have the opening for Resi Zero! It's actually pretty good...a million times better than the one from Resi Remake:

Tune in tomorrow to see just how this new nightmare begins...and if Rebecca, a pathetically weak medic, can withstand the horrors 0_0

Let's start things off with the opening cinematics!

http://youtu.be/ifz3bBZyeH8

This opening episode has the opening cinematics! Surprise! :D
We also get to see the first of the horrors that are on board the train, but this is only a small insight of things to come...
We also get the Dining Key, ready to use in the next episode. Y'know, before we meet a wanted killer of over 20 people :/

Hope people enjoy this series. It's another of my favourites :)

We find ourselves needing the help of a murderer in episode 2:

http://youtu.be/FDg4LQGIApM

Billy may be a murderer of 23 people, but he sure comes in handy! This episode shows what's in the dining car and we get to see what's on the train roof. It may be wet...it may be windy...but damn it, it's got the power cable for the automatic door! Go Becks! And now that Billy and Rebecca have split up as quickly as they joined up, we get to play around as Billy on his own for a while. Oh, we also get the Conductor's Office Key towards the end...more of that in the next episode :)

*Sharp and pointy, sharp and pointy*

We fight the boss of the train in episode 3!

http://youtu.be/0Do6VOkfaHs

Hey there folks, this episode shows the scorpion boss, which is pretty tough for a first boss. We also reunite Billy and Rebecca ready to obtain the most annoying item ever to grace the resi series: the hookshot; 2 inventory slots AND multiple uses?

For shame, Capcom, for shame!

We also get the briefcase open, which is so big for such a small amount of content inside...
Thanks so much for watching! :)

I went on a bit of a recording spree yesterday, so 3 episodes will be uploaded today and tomorrow (6 total). I'll make sure to keep the amount of uploads shorter from then on though :)

-----------------------------------------------------------

It's time to wave goodbye to the train in episode 4!

http://youtu.be/gvt3h41-V5w

The number puzzles are pretty tough...but somehow we get through them quickly. We also make it to the next area...the research facility; we'll be here for the rest of disk 1 folks! ;)

-----------------------------------------------

We crank the game up a notch in episode 5!

http://youtu.be/Qd6v8WFcFGs

We get more done in this episode than I thought. We collect 2 statues for the scales puzzle, find Microfilm A for later, find and use the crank handle, get a new weapon, split the characters up with the lift situation AND reunite them a bit later on.
~Nobody said it was easy~

--------------------------------------------------------

Rebecca has a spot of bother with a giant centipede (boss time!) in episode 6!

http://youtu.be/u8aDuR9CEi0

Hey there folks, this episode has the centipede boss ready to be fought, but look out because you only get to use Bill during the fight! Otherwise, we get: a new weapon, the fire motif key for the 2 fire doors lying around the facility, the iron needle (minute hand) for the clock and some lighter fluid so we can use the lighter as much as we like throughout the game.

Thanks for watching folks, and remember: 3 more episodes tomorrow and then back to 1 episode per day! :)

My bad, we'll go for 2 episodes today and then 1 episode a day from then on. I thought I had more recorded :/

-------------------------------------------------------

What's behind all those doors with clock motifs on them? What dangers could lurk behind them? Find out in episode 7!

http://youtu.be/vhPGbxkXTwQ

Hey guys, it's time to get back to the clock puzzle that we saw earlier with Rebecca! Once we've done that, using the time given in some earlier notes, we get Microfilm B, which we use along with Microfilm A on the projector, we go through the lighter door (with the painting) by using the lighter and find the Book of Good. Examine this to get the white statue wings, which are fitted onto the White Statue back at the balancing scales. Lastly, we open the doors with suits of armour blocking the way by solving the puzzle in the meeting hall.

----------------------------------------------

There's hidden poison in the chess room...episode 8!

http://youtu.be/zeKwuIrjHkU

Hey folks, this episode has a few things going on once again; the chess and weighing scales puzzles included. Also, we make it to the basement, which is full of a certain new enemy...

Enjoy and thanks for watching! :)

Rebecca gets in trouble once again...this time monkeys and a large, gaping hole are to blame! We must hurry! Episode 9!

http://youtu.be/I2QXOown7ZE

Hey peoples, this episode is all about the whole rescuing Rebecca scenario! Saving her isn't all that easy (I find it easy to get lost around here), but it turns out fine. We also solve the voltage puzzle, which is something similar to a puzzle in Resi: Code Veronica X. Finally, there are plenty of cinematics in this episode, which show that Billy may not be as murderous as we all though :)

Thanks so much for watching! :)

The food chain can be so puzzling in episode 10...

http://youtu.be/xXllgseRU38

Hey folks, this episode has a puzzle that I always used to find tough until the answer got lodged into me old noggin', and that is the animal puzzle (where you light the torches for the food chain). This gets us the Unity Tablet, which is the first of 3 items that we need to escape the facility. We also find the Locker Key, and use it to make the customised handgun. Finally, we complete another puzzle, where we need to split the characters up and make our way through a mini-maze; this earns us the Water Motif Key.

Thanks for watching! We're done with the basement now and we're nearly done with the Research Facility! :)

Billy has a spot of bother with a giant bat (church boss!) in episode 12!

http://youtu.be/7mUTqTIaOiE

Hey folks, in this episode we complete the whole of the church area and make a start on the. Rebecca and Billy split up and Billy finds himself the Lecch Capsule which needs to be given to Rebecca once we find the second elevator.

Thanks for watching! :)

We mix chemicals in episode 13!

http://youtu.be/Ma-4lIuEDAw

Hey there folks, we get pretty much all of the laboratory done in this episode: we make the Stipping Agent, by mixing together the green and red chemicals to make the; this is used on the Leech Charm to make the Blue Leech Charm. Rebecca uses this to get the Green Leech Charm and Input Reg Coil (more on this later). Billy uses the Green Leech Charm to get the Breeding Room Key, which makes way for the Dial. Oh...the Sterilizing Agent is found and used too somewhere in this ep.

Thanks for watching :)

We lose Billy in episode 14 :(

http://youtu.be/a2tVhsJeooo

Hey folks, in this episode, we finish off the laboratory and make a good start on the Factory. We won't be there long folks! Oh, and we also get rid of the hookshot! Woooooooooooo! : D

Thanks for watching! :)

It's time to take on the Tyrant in episode 15!

http://youtu.be/O9mZte5S0nw

Hey peoples, in this episode we finish off the Factory (including finding and using the Elevator Key) and make it to the Treatment Plant! Some major things going on here...including the Tyrant boss and the puzzle where you turn the dam power on! We'll be in the plant for the rest of the game folks...but it won't be that long.

Enjoy! :)

Ok, I'll be uploading 2 episodes today and the last 2 episodes tomorrow! There'll also be a bonus episode coming the day after! :)
-----------------------------------------------------

We take on the toughest puzzle in the game in episode 16!

http://youtu.be/0YYtNVgBcTo

Hey folks, this episode has us complete the crate bridge puzzle, which I personally find to be the toughest in the game, and I make sure it doesn't drag out for you all. This gets us the Valve Handle allowing us to move on. The Red Chemical is also found, ready to be mixed later on. OH! We also find Billy!

----------------------------------------------

And in episode 17, we play around in the gondola (oh...we fight Tyrant one more time too)!

http://youtu.be/hlCbsZl9qN8

Hello again, this time around, we mainly focus on making the battery for the forklift (which we use). We also find the motherboard after fighting the Tyrant one more time. The Gondola sure is a fun ride for Rebecca :p . Finally, we find the Magnetic Card, ready to use it in the next episode!

Danke for watching! :)

It's time to finish off the main series! The last 2 main episodes are a-comin'! :)

-------------------------------------------

Episode 18 reveals who the man in the white dress is!

http://youtu.be/_7fHdmDqIto

Hey folks, this episode sees us use the Magnetic Card to fight the Leech Queen! Once that's outta the way, we do some last minute preparation for the final boss/bosses.

The next episode is the last one folks! :D

--------------------------------------------------

And finally, it's time to blow up the research facility and release the prisoner in episode 19!

http://youtu.be/jakhAB8AwRA

Hey folks, this is the last episode of the series! We kill off the last boss, see how the story ends and view the credits! I also give my farewell for the series, giving a clue or two about the next series ;)
Thanks so much for watching throughout the LP. Hope to see you for the next one!

P.S. Look out for the bonus episode :D

Here's the bonus episode folks! It's a little bit longer than my normal episodes, but it's a 1-time special, so I guess it's ok:

http://youtu.be/rdq4WrKxj5A

This is the minigame that you unlock after you complete the main game, and it's pretty tough. I have been challenged to get 50/100 leeches...but I'm pretty terrible at this ;)
Will I complete the challenge? Find out and see! :D
Thanks for watching this series guys! The trailer for the next series will be out soon!

OH! If you fancy trying to beat my amount, chuck a video in this thread showing you beating my score (the whole thing like I've done...or similar). Or you could just send a video response to me on youtube :)
