Hey there folks, it's time for a new mini-series! This one will be 7 episodes long and will run up to (and end on) Christmas Eve, where there will be:
- 1 episode today
- 2 episodes tomorrow
- 2 episodes on Saturday
- 1 episode on Sunday
- 1 episode on Christmas Eve
The game I have chosen this time around, as the thread title suggests, is Super Mario Land 2: 6 Golden Coins. It's a retro game from the days of the original Game Boy and is made (naturally) completely by Nintendo. If you'd like to play it, it's available for the Game Boy and on the 3DS's Virtual Console.
Personally, I'm playing this copy on the Game Boy Player for the Gamecube, which is completely legit and made by Nintendo. It's another option if you still have your Gamecube hanging around
Anyways, it's a little bit different from typical Mario games, in the sense that you can clear any world (zone) at any point, so it's more...open-world I guess; does this make it an early Skyrim? Ha, maybe. Considering it was made in 1992, I don't think you'll get much closer to Skyrim.
If you'd like to learn a little bit more about the game, then here's a link to a Mario wiki:

And here's a link to the 1st episode!

Hope to see you guys around and that you enjoy it!
