At this past E3, Square Enix said Final Fantasy XIV would launch on PlayStation 3 and PCs. Looks like an Xbox 360 version is in development too.

A staffer at Square Enix Japan let the proverbial chocobos out of the stable. In her Linked In profile she notes Final Fantasy XIV is a PC, PS3 and Xbox 360 title. Whoops! An Xbox 360 version hasn’t been announced yet. Honest mistake or a slip of the tongue?

Akama also says there are lines currently working on The 3rd Birthday and Final Fantasy Agito XIII too.

Haha, I wonder if it was done deliberately. What's cheaper a yet effective advertising than "zomg, leaked info!" xD

:ffs:

It's probably just a typo, since FFXIII will be going out for the 360. I doubt they'd to that at this point, what with them complaining about effort.

I think they've done it by accident but a 360 version of FFXIV was inevitable. I think the only reason it hasn't been announced is because of something in the Xbox LIVE policy that SE didn't like so that needs to ironed out before they can officially announce it. Really though, it's a matter of when they announce it, not if. :ryan:

If this is real she's probably going to get reprimanded for this, there obviously was some non-disclosure agreements inside the company to hide this for so long.

:hmmm:
It could be a mistake or... they could be hiding something from us :gasp: I thought it was going to be on the 360 anyways.... >.< Not the PC. I'm all confused lol. But, this thread cleared it up for me XD. They can put it on the 360 as long as it's still on the PS3 :mokken: As long as its on the PS3 we're good XD.

I think it may just be a typo or just a mistake of some kind as well. SE should still be negotiating with Microsoft as mentioned already- how successful the negotiations over the Xbox LIVE policy is, I'm not sure right now.

Siliconera hasn't quite updated on this story yet nor has anyone said it's a mistake yet, so I guess time will tell. :hmmm:
