Hi, I like to create a list of the minimum or recomended level for a beginner player to beat all the bosses on a normal play which includes all the side quest and optional bosses.

I sometimes find it confusing because there are videos on you tube where some people use extremely low level to beat some bosses while the rest would level up until it's maximum at the end.

Since my friend and I had just starting to play the game and we are both at around Rocket town area, his characters are already level around level 50-55 and mine only around 28-30. I think he over leveled! haha.

Anyway here are the list of the bosses and the recommended levels that I think it should be according to my exprience. I can only list until Palmer for now cause that was my last boss.

I know that Sephiroth's HP and difficulty is based on your party levels and so on, but on a normal run through which also includes defeating all the optional bosses, ie weapons, what should the end level of your character be?

I would very much appreciated if the rest of you can help me build the recomended level list. Thanks!

Well from experience, I know you'd have to be at least Lvl 65-70 to take on the last 2 bosses: Jenova and the 2 forms of Sephiroth.

That's the lowest recommended for those fight.

So your using a walkthrough or you've played the game before?

Demons gate is only if you are underleveled which you don't seem to be carry armor is tough but if you power his arms he goes down fairly easy and the final boss is tough if you dont prepare your charachters for dispel frog etc. aside from that he' easy.

I suggest having some patience. If you have the patience to do it, level Barret and Cloud to level 16 before you fight the Scorpion Guard. If you do this correctly you can get both Barret's and Cloud's Level 3 Limit Break, and be ready for the fourth to be added when you have it.

I have done this before. It makes the game a bit of a breeze until you get out of Midgar. The only place you might have a spot of trouble is right around Corel. But its all generally easy up to that point.

:hmmm:

Disc 1

Beginning to Kalm: You can probably get through everything at Levels 10-14.
Kalm to Costa Del Sol: Levels 12-16
Costa Del Sol to Rocket Town: Levels 14-20
Rocket Town to Promised Land: Levels 18-25

Disc 2

Promised Land to Corel/Fort Condor(after getting 2 Huge Materia): Levels 22-30
Corel/Fort Condor to the Ancient City: Levels 24-30
Ancient City to Midgar(End Disc 2): 28-35

Disc 3

North Cave and the battle w/ Sephiroth: Levels 40+

I took this outline from my friend who did a speed run of like 25 hours and beat the game at Level 40.
