What is there this year that you've got coming up that you're looking forward to? Films, games, gigs, holidays, starting uni?

As for films, I can only think of Shutter Island so far that's coming soon but there are bound to be loads more that will be announced later in the year.
I'm seeing Muse in September which will definitely be good, and I'm seeing Stereophonics in March which will also be pretty good. I'm also hoping to go to a festival this Summer if I can get tickets/find a few people to go with.
I'll also be seeing Jimmy Carr in a couple of months time, which will be the first live comic I've seen so that'll also be good.
And at uni, I've got two modules starting that I've been looking forward to because they're the two that I'm most bothered about, and I'm working with a really good group for it so I have high hopes there.

All in all it's looking like I've got a good 12 months ahead of me.

I'm looking forward to finally seeing my mom again after 15 years of separation with her. If all goes well with her papers which I am currently trying to fix with the NVC right now, then I really have no words to express how happy that would make me. I've been waiting for that moment since I was 7, and I've only seen her 4 times out of the 15 years, so the next time we see each other it will be permanent.

And that's really it.

For me, it's mostly superficial things like game releases and such. I finished college, so there's nothing more for me to look forward to until I take some initiative >_<

This year should Rock.

I should be getting my PSP back. That means Dissidia is back online :ryan:

PS3 is in the future, too. Well, thats not certain, but Its a possibility. If it does come, FF XIII will be there too

BBS is coming. That will be epic win for my PSP :awesome:

Thats about it. Games are in my future :ryan:

There are actually quite a few good bands releasing albums this year. Judas Priest, Motorhead, Aerosmith (big ? here, because I thought they were breaking up...), Bad Religion, Coheed and Cambria, The Offspring, among others. I believe Blink-182 is due to release an album this year as well, which should be interesting.

Also, for games, we have Bad Company 2, FFXIII (dur), Birth by Sleep and other games that I haven't paid attention to at all yet. Dark Void looks interesting, as does Lost Planet 2, but the CAPCOM stickers on there give me a huge red light.

It's also possible that I get my top and bottom braces off by the end of the year. Definitely my tops, but possibly my bottoms. Great year to look forward to overall.

Let's see...

I think a new Nightwish album is due. That should be quite interesting.
I just got a free modded Xbox 360 that plays burned games, so gaming definitely looks good.
My PSP game cam in just the other day, so I'm looking forward to progressing in it and writing a review.
I'm joining the Air Force this year, so I'm pretty thrilled about that.
I'm getting into an online game, hopefully I can stick with it this time. -__-

That's all I can think of for now. :D

Deff Game releases such as FXIII and Dragon age: Awakening
Hmm, I do also want to go to an concert sometime soon although not sure who XD
Looking forward to go see a football game too. I was promised that the next home game that my dad would take me >_>
Also my b-days coming up in March :monster: that's always something ta look forward to :D

Let's see.
This year when it comes to gaming will give me the pleasure of playing Bayonetta, Star Ocean The Last Hope International, Resident Evil 4 Alternative, Super Street Fighter 4, Blazblue Continuum Shift, Final Fantasy XIII, Birth by Sleep and other games.

Other things might be getting my social life back and in the fall getting back to college!

Other than that.. I'm completely blank.
:se7:

There's quite a few things I'm looking forward to this year, such as :

Passing my driving test. Last time I had three minors, she failed me cause I hit the curb during the reverse parallel park. I could have strangled her, especially after she said "That was a bloody good drive!". So I WILL pass sometime this year.

Game releases. FFXIII and Star Ocean spring to mind.

Finishing college and starting Uni. While I love college, I really can't be bothered with all the crappy lessons anymore. Reading in silence for 70 minutes? Going over a mark scheme for 70 minutes? No thanks. Plus, Uni should be so much better. I can't wait to just move out an be able to do my own thing.

Fleetwood Mac are possibly making a new album, so that's the only thing music wise I'm looking forward too, at the moment anyway.

Meeting up with Vikki, Ami, Sonny, Damon, etc. For mine and Vikki's birthday in February we're having a big party somewhere, cause Vikki's friend owns a pub or something. Should be fun. :wacky:

Really...I'm just looking forward to the rest of the year in general. 2009 was a pretty "blah" year, so I'm determined to make 2010 better for myself. So far, it's been pretty cool :jess: (and I'm not just saying that cause of the snow)

I'm looking forward to finally getting all the tattoos I've wanted for a while now.
Me and Steve are going to book in this really awesome guy in the city, who is really really awesome at what he does. Though he might be expensive, at least we know he'll do an awesome job!

Finally getting to see snow in August hopefully when we go to New Zealand for a holiday. We're going to try and go snow boarding which should be fun.

I'll add more to the list as I think of them. >.<

Well since most of my life is spent either playing Video Games or on the Internet, I am really just looking forward to good video games coming out later this year, and looking forward to seeing how the RPG Inferno here unfolds, hoping some serious story will come into it soon. :awesome:

I am looking forward to video game releases such as Super Mario Galaxy 2, Pokémon SoulSilver, and Final Fantasy XIII, they should all be awesome games, and I am sure there are plenty of other upcoming games I can't think of at the moment too...ah, Arc Rise Fantasia should be another cool Wii game, looks very promising. ^_^

I am also looking forward to becoming a Veteran Member of this community, since this will be where most of my online activity will be focused on for the foreseeable future, it'll be nice to have something to show for that. :)

We have the whole of 2010 ahead of us, so there should be numerous things to look forward to. I'm no different :ryan:

There's the politics visit to the House of Commons in London later this year. It's the first college trip ever and I love my politics class, so it will be a rather interesting trip. Next year we'll probably head over to Washington DC- so my fingers are crossed.

I'm also looking forward to turning 18 this November. Hopefully by then I'll get a new car so I can really experience the freedom I longed for. Then there's the tour of the universities that I will inevitably sign up to. In April, I'll visit Hong Kong as I have a cousin whose family works in banking there.

Music wise, I'm anticipating plenty of new albums from returning artists- and new artists as well. Video game wise, FFXIII, Birth by Sleep, Bayonetta, Arkham Asylum 2 etc. I'm not that informed when it comes to future movie releases, so I'll find out the juicy ones on the horizon as the year progresses along.

So far, seeing Muse in September is about all Im looking forward too, plans need to be made for this year :hmmm: I can't wait though, they were awesome in November so I know Im in for an awsome time

Oh, Im looking forward to FFXIII as well....

The ASVAB test coming up which is later this month i have to take, I bit anxious about it since what i score on it changes everything for me. I'm hoping i pass i've had no luck with landing a job at all. Looking forward to a couple of games as well FF13 for one and a number of others.

Though the only thing i'm NOT looking forward to is the fact that if i do pass the test i won't be online as much as i am now and i won't be able to talk to some of the people i talk to on here. I hope they'll want to keep in contact with me but it's all up to them on whether they want to or not.

On the bright side, should things work out this year i'll be moving out and look for a place of my own.

I'm looking forward to seeing The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus with my cousin today. I'm a huge Heath fan and always will be, which also makes me kind of uneasy about going to see it. I've heard of this movie for quite some time now, and it was a nice experience waiting for the film, because in a way that kept Heath alive. Now that the movie is out, this is it. There will unfortunately be no more Heath movies. It will most defnitely be bittersweet.

I'm also looking forward to everything my mother and I have planned. I haven't talked to her in 5 years, and I saw her for the first time since them about 30 minutes ago. We plan on doing so much together and traveling and meeting new people, and she's even going to pay for art classes.

This year is going to make up for 09, I'm almost sure of it.

I am looking forward to seeing all my friends again in May. Also, DURING May I have this awesome convention coming up called Anime North. I am so excited about doing my cosplays and doing photoshoots. Other than that...really nothing except for getting a job and finishing up Gr. 11 with good marks.

I am looking forward to graduation and college this year! Ohhhh I can't wait! :P Also I can't wait for FF13 and my birthday....I'll be a legal adult AND play my fav game in the same month! :D Lets see....Oh! I'm also looking forward to trying to get my book published over the summer. I've been trying to do that for 2 years so.....yeah, this year's gonna be a blast!

2010 is shaping up to be a great year so far. Next week I will be going on a trip to the Gold Coast where me and my friends will be busking to cover our expenses. But before that I plan on seeing the play Avenue Q which is currently showing, I've seen a few Youtube videos and it looks hilarious. After I get back from the Gold Coast I have the Big Day Out festival which will feature Muse, The Mars Volta, Kasabian, Karnivool and Dizzee Rascal to name just a few.

Then in February I am going on a holiday to Japan for two weeks (first time overseas) and when I get back I will be going to the Soundwave festival which will feature the likes of Placebo, Jane's Addiction, Faith No More, Enter Shikari and Anthrax among many more. And of course there is FFXIII in March.

All in all I have a pretty good year ahead of me and that's only the first three months. :monster:

So far, seeing Muse in September is about all Im looking forward too, plans need to be made for this year :hmmm: I can't wait though, they were awesome in November so I know Im in for an awsome time

Oh, Im looking forward to FFXIII as well....

You're not looking forward to coming and visiting me? :mokken: I see how it is.

I'm looking forward to the possibility of us getting to move back to my home state this late summer/early fall. We're hoping before the new school year starts. My husband is going to be looking into transferring his job to another store there. The location we're going there are 4 different stores for him to choose from and find himself a transfer.

If we get to go back home, I'll really be looking forward to spending time with my sister again. I miss her so much. I'll get to see my little one year old nephew. I'll get to see my grandma, my biological father, my Aunt Debbie and Uncle James, and Dave's dad and stepmom as well as some old friends too.

I look forward to getting the old band grouped back together if we get to go back home. I do know for a fact we'll get to go visit in April when hubby gets his vacation time so that'll be nice. We're gonna do some house browsing/shopping while there too and see what we can find. I'm glad we didn't purchase anything here that way we wouldn't have to go through with selling the property. :phew:

I look forward to getting our income tax return. According to what Dave heard from some people at work they're giving even more this year for children. We usually get anywhere from $4000-$5000 back every year since we had Logan, but this year we're possibly looking at anywhere from $5000-$6000 which would be SO nice. We can get all our bills caught up and perhaps splurge a little on something nice. It's so rare we ever get to buy anything for ourselves, so we're hoping we can do this.

I'm looking forward to the police getting this whole mess with the bank fraud and identity theft, we've just recently become victims of, fixed. I look forward to those thieves having their asses thrown in jail or punished or something, and I pray we'll be able to get all our money back that we lost.

And, if she gets to, I look forward to Kelly getting to come here and visit me. We talked about it so much, about all the stuff we'd do, the places we'd go, etc...and it's really really exciting. So, I'm definitely looking forward to that. One more mediocre thing; I'm looking forward to finally getting a PS3 and FFXIII. That's one thing we're DEFINITELY splurging on come tax time! :lew: And that's pretty much it for now.

This year I'm mainly looking forward to stuff new games, like Final Fantasy XIII and perhaps stuff like Birth by sleep and such. I'm also looking forward to seeing my very first concert, my favorite band too :jess: Muse!

I'm also really hoping to be able to go and see my boyfriend sometime soon... I went down to visit him during the summer, and I REALLY miss him. and would love to go back down to see him again
