Damn, I hate this stupid fishing side-quest. I triumphed over Yiazmat. I killed Omega easily. Now all I need is Lu Shang's badge to get the Wyrmhero blade. The fishing sidequest is such a pain in the ass. It's like trying to do an entire Dance Dance Revolution routine on a postcard in under 2 seconds. The first part wasn't that hard... but these upper levels are driving me insane. And I go to GameFAQs to find exactly what is needed to advance... the answer is some unspecified number of perfect routines... it thinks. There's not even a definitive answer. Just kind of like "Yea, keep at it... you'll get there eventually... hopefully". Grrrrr... damn annoying

I finally got done with it.. but man I hated it. And the reward was horrible. The wyrmhero blade has such an incredibly slow attack rate tthat it's barely usable.. not to mention that the hitting and blocking sounds are very strange. A female midget farting in a kazoo is probably the closest example I could give for the sounds the Wyrmhero blade makes. But yea, the fishing thing was long... very long... and very annoying. Not to mention it featured those damn dancing cactoid wannabe cactuar bastards.

I was halfway into the fishing sidequest and had to give it a rest because it sucked so bad. I'll eventually get it, but I'm in no hurry for this specific Badge.
