No, I'm not talking about the three strippers you got hepatitis from, I'm talking about a person's ability to naturally be good at something even though they have no personal skills in that area. Like the guy who always seems to come out on top financially even though he's a degenerate gambler who can't make a good bet to save his life. Or the complete jackass who spends most of his days harrassing others but somehow manages one nice act and gets a reward for it.

Is it Luck? Is it Fate? Who knows? But do you have any of those "gifts"? Are you one of those people who can just randomly be good at things, even though you have no inherent talent in that area at all? I've seen people win art contests that entered only as a joke. They submitted work as a spoof because they thought the art contest was BS... and they won. So share your stories... if they're personal, all the better.

I don't know about this but uh...

I'm really good at drawing stuff even though I've never studied the subject at all. I don't think I ever lost a contest that I entered even if they were ones that I really wanted to do. But yeah I guess I have the talent if I was able to do that.

A second one for me, *I don't know if anyone's ever heard of this* is Quiz Bee, (you know, as in spelling bee but they ask you test questions or something like that). Again I am undefeated:lol:!
Oh, yeah! And I never study for anything.

The answer is simple: Coincidence.

I am the person who believes in if you are in the right place at the right time, then something bad or good may happen to you. I am all about time and how that plays out our lives. I don't believe there is luck or fate. It's purely coincidental or you worked at it.

If you're talking about someone who has never done a certain thing before and he does it only to find out he's really good, then that's simple to explain also. People have genes and they may be adapted to one thing or another. They may also have a mental tendency to accelerate at one thing. If the person who accomplishes a feat without ever doing it before, then chances are he has some basic tendency to accomplish it. He may have just not known it.

As for stories: I have none.

I'm certainly far from a fatalist.

The only kind of fate or destiny I believe in is the one we pave for ourselves. Every action has a reaction; therefore, we shape the future with the present. That's why I feel it's so important that we all be aware. You'd be surprised how many activities we do, or even how many days go by that we're really only "going through the motions" & not really paying attention to what's happening.

But I digress.

As far as luck goes, I'm going to go with Stryfe in saying that the answer is coincidence. A series of circumstances arose & the outcome was favorable.

I've managed to get class orders in high school that allow me do 75% of my homework during the school day since freshman year. Mere coincidence? I think not!

Wel as fare i have seen in life i can say thats just life you now.
After something bad happend to some one something good is comming out of it.

Ok lets give you an example of what i meen:
I was real lucky in life i had A men i still have kids i had that great store with some friends.Everything was perfekt but then:
I broke up with the father of my kids i (we)closed that store, because some junkys broke in and took everything.
But at the end i'm still lucky you know i'm still alife, they could have killed me,I could have lost my kids to my ex.

Thats life there are up's and down's its not about luck its just the way you see things.
You realy thing the one who winns in lotto is lucky.
Well think will that one has ever again real friends? Will that one have ever again real love?I dont think so.
Thats just life deal with it and make the best out of it and you'll win the greatest game you've ever played:LIFE

I don't like the idea of fate. I hate the notion that I'm not in control of my life, and that the decisions I make will all lead to one single moment. I like to think that I'm here now because of the various decisions and choices I've made throughout my life. I can supposrt this with a perfect example; the night I met my girlfriend, I wasn't going to go out. I was just going to stay at home, but at the last minute I decided I would go and I couldn't be happier that I did. I made a choice, and something came of it. Had I stayed home, we never would've met.
I think that to some extent, we do have luck, but I also like to believe that a man makes his own luck. There are small amounts of it, such as a roullette, which is completely independant of other spins. I'm not saying I believe in Karma here, I'm actually somewhat unclear on the matter there, but if you stay positive and optimistic, then you'll be a more 'lucky' person.
