Lufia looks really interesting. Based on the character portraits, I can quickly see that they may be interesting people to play and interact with. The addition of puzzles with the conventional JRPG elements sounds good as well because I'm also a fan of the Zelda games.

However it's probably likely that SE won't bother releasing it for the west. They might, but it's highly probable they won't bother. I hope I'm wrong though. D=

I don't quite know why Dragon Quest IX is there, but it has reminded me that the game hasn't been westernised yet, so I'm eagerly waiting for it.

Ari, thanks again!

Lufia sure does look interesting and Im very happy and excited about a new Dragon Quest :) The characters look amazing as ever. Has there been any previous Lufia games?

Yup. I had to look it up though because I never actually heard of Lufia before- or the name Estpolis either.

One made it to Europe (simply with the name Lufia) and a few made it to North America. I do hope this time they do release this new one outside of Japan because they haven't done that lately. :hmmm:

Wikipedia has a bit on it here.

The name does look familiar, but for the life of me I dont recall playing it. So I guess I will be giving this a go cause Im liking the screenshots. Thanks hun :)

There's still a achance athat another publisher might bring it over, though.
Lufia DS isn't being developed by Square Enix, just published by Square Enix Japan, so they don't have North American/Eruo exclusivity locked up or anything.
(It's being developed by Neverland.)

:)
