Help Meltdown and aura drawing

I want to get these spells before i square off with Adel, Ultimecia, etc. What monster could i draw these spells from easily and in what area can i find them?


I'm trying to max out the rest of my party's stats at the moment.
 
You can draw Meltdown from Gayla's which I think are found outside of Trabia. I don't know that you can draw Aura from any monsters but you can refine aura from certain items or cards.
 
GF refines rule all

Seifer (which whom you fight right before Adel) has Aura to draw from. Other then that you can refine Power wrists into aura stones and then refine the stones into the spell. Power wrists can be found in the Esthar shop.

As for other ways to get Aura:
Islands Closest to Heaven and Hell (far east and far west islands on the map) have a ton of draw points with the most powerful spells in FFVIII, but you should be able to find some Aura draw points (make sure to use Enc-None). :ryan: You can refine Aura Stones with Support Magic Refine (I think), and I believe its 1 stone for 1 Aura, which isn't much. The best way to get them if you're not drawing them from Seifer (my opinion the best way to get them) is to refine Fury Fragments, which I believe is 1 fragment for 5 Aura's.

Edit: Oh right, I totally forgot to mention Meltdown. As stated earlier, Gayla's from the Trabia snow covered areas are common encounters and they're weak, so drawing them out is pretty simple. You can also get them from refining Mystery Fluids with Status Magic Refine, 1 fluid for 10 Meltdowns.

Meltdown and Aura can both be drawn from Monsters on the islands closest to Heaven and Hell. Seifer has Aura, too, but if you want it and you have Odin, then you will have to draw them quick.
 
aura is tough to come by, and the islands closest to hell/heaven have like the toughest enemies ever, lol.

I'm happy I beat the game. I didn't try drawing Aura from Seifer because I was trying to beat him. I only used an Aura Stone on Zell and finally beat Adel (after losing like 30+ times and was about to give up).

Ultimecia/Griever can be pretty tough.. argh, i dont want to think about this game anymore haha
