If i had to answer it would be Vaan, i am intrested in your choices.
 
I use Balthier the most, love his accent and the way he speaks.

Let's remember to elaborate a bit on our posts, so they're not considered spam.

In the first trailer of this game that I saw, I saw Penelo dancing. I loved her from that moment on. XD I leveled and used everyone equally, but whenever it was her turn to be used, I was always a bit happier because she's my favorite character in the game. XD When you go to get the sunstone near the beginning, sometimes I would kill Vaan and just use her, even though I knew her level woud be reset later... <.> I just love using her. xD

Balthier is a close second... I just liked the character a lot. The whole leading man thing was kinda awesome tbh xD
 
I used Basch, Balthier and Penelo equally really. :hmmm:

They were my main party throughout the game and I never really bothered to level the other three until the end. I quite liked them as a team. Basch was the tank; Penelo was the mage and Balthier was sort of both. I kind of adjusted his weapons as I saw fit.

I still wish Larsa would have been a fully playable character in the main party. :hmmm:
 
Hm, I think I used Penelo the most, as she has the most LP. (Some 34,000 while others are barely finishing with the license board) She finished before I hit Archades, I think...I thought I used Balthier the most...but I guess not. ;p
 
I liked Ashe a lot, she was a versatile character. So I made her a 'paladin', chyyeah
 
Fran and Penelo, but more likely Fran.

I love how she lay low with her bow, and I used her as my main healer. She stayed away from heavy damage, and it really helped me alot. I loved her voice as well. Definitely suited her. xD
 
Are you kidding?? I used Vaan the most, but my main party was Vaan, Balthier with a spear, and Fran with a katana. God, she was so much hotter when she rushed out to the front and started slashing the monsters with that katana. ^ ^

But Larsa was a cutie too, and I also wish he was a permanent party member~
 
It's been a while since I played it but I'm fairly certain I used Fran the most. My main party was usually Vaan, Fran and Balthier. Vaan and Balthier would attack head-on and Fran would hang behind, attacking from long range with her bow, and healing everyone.
I also loved Fran's character, I thought she and Balthier were the most interesting out of the playable guys so they were obvious choices for me.

I remember my least used was Penelo... I used to hate her character for some reason and just found she was generally worse than everyone else in battle. I'd try and level up everyone the same but she'd never make it into my main party for a boss battle...
 
Basch, he is always the first one who levels up and I switch him for a lower leveled character last. He's just the strongest and my tank in the game. Ashe is second because of healing and Fran third (long range)
 
I use all of them. I divide my party into the following: Vaan, Fran and Basch. Balthier, Peneo and Ashe.

I switch between these two sets of characters whenever all three of one party level up, to keep all characters at an even level.
 
Main Party was always Fran, Basch and Ashe. My Ashe is a bad ass healer, seriously. With one Curaga she does like 9999 healing, I love her for that! But my favorite is Fran. Fran by a long shot!! She is amazing with every weapon and her voice is just wow. Basch is my hard hitter and like never dies. Ever. :D
 
I tried to use my party equally but, for the most part, I think I used Balthier and Basch. I used Balthier as a distance shooter (gunner) and he was really good with what he did. Plus he has a sexy voice :ryan: and Basch..... is just awesome.
 
Crap I didn't mark it, but I use all the characters except for Vaan and Penelo pretty much equally. My main party usually consists of Fran, Ashe and Balthier though. I find myself controlling and favouring Ashe more than the rest. For some reason I really adore her as a character.
 
Hmmm I pretty much Do what GameMage does.
I have Fran,Penelo,Vaan and then Balthier,Ashe and Bashe and build them up equally.
I'll Switch after about ten levels or so depends on the area.
My Favorite would be Fran though....uhm for what should be mostly obvious reasons ^^
 
I tended to use ashe more than anyone, I often had to switch out characters to keep my 4 main people equally levelled. But Ashe was my healer and you always need a healer so I kept her out more.
 
Uhg! This is hard.

The character I used the most was Basch, His use of great swords was enough to have him at the head of the party, and not just great swords bat Axes and spears he's a monster with all of them and far better than Vaan in most respects and should have been the mai character.....him or Balthier
 
I mainly used Basch as my leader because he has a tendency for hitting an enemy (especially bosses) ten times in a row. he ended up having the highest strength and hp. I did use Vaan as my black mage allot too.
