I have noticed that no one has yet to have made a thread about the musashi series, so i welcome you to the thread dedicated to the Musashi series (Brave Fencer Musashi, and Samurai legend Musashi). Feel free to talk about this series, whether you like or whether you don't, tips, or reason for another Musashi game. Enjoy! (BTW this is my first thread)

try searching on wikipedia or google. basically it's a good game to play and you should enjoy the action it contains.

Looks like a pretty interesting RPG. Too bad my Playstation 2 is broken or otherwise I could go rent the game. Too bad though.

Does it sorta resemble the FF series?

Peace,
Octavius

Nah, the Musashi series doesn't have anything to do with Final Fantasy.

In a nutshell, a samurai-in-training is summoned to a different world to rescue the people from evil (go figure). Not only do you actually have to go and LOOK for the people you rescue, but you are also in search for either the Five Scrolls or the Five Swords (depending on the game).

As much as I liked the second game (excellent environments), I simply adore the first. It's nostalgic for me, for this was one of the few RPG's I actually beat when I was little.

i haven't played the first game yet, (although i played a demo of it and it was cool.) I currently own the second game and it's quite cool for the action it packs (as well as some motorcycle scenes.)

it's just that, i don't know where i could find the first one at the moment. can you help me out?

You're probably right about this Shenorai. It seems impossible to find Brave Fencer Musashi at your local game stores.

I know, it's a shame...I'm lucky I got mine when I still had the chance. o_O

...another thing I liked about the series was the music. My favorite has got to be the music from the second game (especially Aeolic Guardian, which was the theme for the Maiden of Wind...can't remember her name, though).

((Psst...anyone want to know where to get the music? PM/IM me!))

Didn't it have a playable demo of Xenogears and FF VIII?

I enjoyed this game, if I remember correctly that it was somewhat of real time play, because I remember that you would sleep in a sleeping bag and watch the time pass by quickly...lol it was like the begining of the Sims

Brave Fencer Musashi was awesome, the gameplay, storyline, and music.
Especially the theme, it was catchy!

Musashi Samurai Legend though, was, well... it was pretty good, but nothing compared to its predecessor.

I'll see if I could find the first game. I really would like to play the first game in the series.
Get it, it's worth it!
Just don't get discredited by the ancient graphics.

I've played a demo of that game a long time ago and it was a great game. I'm not bothered about graphic at all.

^ That is good to hear.
You'll be surprised how many people diss great games because of their graphics. *coughgoddamnFFXfanaticscough*

Get the game when you can, you'll love kid Musashi. ;)

The first Musashi was much better. The second just felt... like an empty shell of a game. Of course this is opinion based. FYI I own two copies of the original ~laughs~

I first played this game years ago when it was still kinda new and it was awesome. My friend had it, so I played a little bit when I was at his house. Then, about a year ago, I found it in a GameStop and immediately bought it. I couldn't pass that up.
