I was wonder what everyone thought about the music transitions. Do you think that they did a good job converting the music from the game to the movie well? And is their any song that would would have liked to see included that was not?

In my opinion i think they remade the music very well. but i would have liked to hear the final fantasy theme song some where in their.

And is it only me or did i hear a song from the original in the credits?

I thought the music was remade well. Aeris' theme and the fight theme that played during the Tifa/Loz battle stood out to me.

There were some other themes I liked, but I don't believe they were in FFVII.

I heard a lot of criticism on other forums for the music in AC. But I actually loved the soundtrack, whether it was re-hashed songs or original, there's not one I didn't like.

Notable of the ones redone from the original game are Tifa vs Loz (battle theme), OWA and Cloud vs Kadaj (JENOVA). I loved the new spin on them, and I was impressed that not all of the themes were redone in the rock style, it was enough with just JENOVA and OWA for me. The piano battle theme was really clever, and fitted the scene of the church really well whilst keeping the pace of the fight. And the rock stuff, well it rocked :P

I did really like the original songs The Calling (choral), Pray and the theme for Bahamut SIN. A lot of people didn't seem to approve of them, but I loved the reverence style of atmosphere they added to the film. And it added nice contrast to the hard rock stuff.

i really liked the "those who fight" piano song in the fight between tifa and the bid dude

Edit: the new version of one winged angel really interested me, i love hearing rock getting mixed with orchestral:P
