Three new scans of Final Fantasy XIII, Final Fantasy Versus XIII and Final Fantasy Agito XIII from this week's Famitsu issue have surfaced online. The three reveal the full name of FFXIII's Snow, which is Snow Villiers.

I'm somewhat intrigued as to the pronunciation of his name. Currently, I'm pronouncing it as though it's a French name but that sounds too fruity for his character, already.

These look awesome. I really want all this games to come out soon. Oh, well. I guess the wait will be worth it. However, I don't like Snow as the name for the guy of the main FFXIII game but I guess I'll live with it, as long as he's a good character.
 
I am so exited for versus XIII! one of my most anticipated game.
I am loving Stella character design she is a beauty(kinda look like a blonde Tifa).

That's one of the reasons I like her so much as well :monster:

Versus XIII is looking better with every new scan they release! I wish that it was coming out before XIII because I'm more excited for it now.

The plot of XIII does sound intriguing though. I'm not really liking the look of this Snow Villiers guy so far, but Lightning and Sera look like pretty cool characters.
 
Stella is already the second most beautiful FF lady for me(ahead of Celes, but behind of Tifa) Sera is also very pretty.
Versus XIII is the best for me, I am anticipating it way more than XIII
I can't wait for it to come out.
 
Arg, their character design is becoming boring as hell.
Another Blond dude with hair just at face level.
And the girl is about as plain as you can get. Long hair, lets make it blond this time, and give her this melancholy look to her face. The same body type as well. It's as if the character designers have one template of a body and and face and they just throw different cloths and hair on them.
I wish they would get back to doing things with Yoshitaka Amano. When they start transferring his characters and the patterns in the cloths into 3D it looks fantastic and like nothing else.

Agreed.
When they went from SNES to the PlayStation to do the game in 3D they left Amano as the main character designer because his style was not something they could transfer to 3D so well. To much Fabric, patterns, and very lose.
They went with a different artist who was a lot more simple in design and drawing style. It made for an easier transition into 3D Models and Texture Mapping.
But now, as you can see in some of the little trailers they have done for the older Final Fantasy games, they have the capability to pull off Amano's style in 3D. Which I think would make for a FANTASTIC look to a game. It would be extremely unique looking in terms of color, design, but most of all the textures and patterns to the clothing.

Oh well, im probably to damn old school anyway. To me Amano is Final Fantasy, I grew up loving his drawings in the instruction guides.
 
What I like about the characters is that they look unique, but they don't look ridiculous. Their outfits are actually quite practical.

Stella looks more like Yuna than Tifa, to me. And Snow - which may be the most ridiculous name ever, unless it's a codename - looks like Wakka crossed with Seifer. To me at least xD
