Square Enix has been teasing this 'Project X' for the last couple weeks, but today Square Enix let out another hint that possibly reveals the developer for the title and more.

Continuing the trend of using Twitter as a teasing ground, Sonia Im posted this on her Twitter account earlier: "I miss you @DeathBot9 ! Think we'll be working together again in some capacity soon? #hinthintpeople"

DeatBot 9, or better known as Chris Taylor, works at GasPoweredGames, and they are currently developing two titles, one being Kings and Castles, a RTS, and Dungeon Siege III. Nothing directly screams out that GPG could be the developer of the mysterious Project X, but the "hinthint" certainly paints that picture and the fact they are a Western developer, which has been hinted at previously.

With plans set around a possible pre-E3 revealing, we hope to know what Project X is soon, but the more hints that get released, the sooner the answer may be revealed. As of now, we still only have vague clues and shallow hints.

GasPowered Games again? Hasn't SE already teamed up with them for Supreme Commander 2?

Still, it looks like a very vague message that could possibly have been looked into a bit too much. Seeing as though no one has come up with a good theory yet after Fortress has been allegedly dismissed, this announcement will come as a surprise.

The fact that a western developer has their hands on this may actually be a really good thing, seeing as SE has been deteriorating lately.

I'm tired of the hints. :mokken: Why can't they just tell us already.

It better not be Gaspoweredgames again. But from the looks of it it seems it is gaspowered games. Still wanna see what this project X is :hmmm:

Gas Powered Games is the only western developer Square has collaborated with in the past who has any experience with RPGs, so I don't think they would be a bad choice at all. Dungeon Siege is a very solid IP in my opinion, and with the right kind of support from Square, I believe they could come up with something special.

Sonia, phonia :mokken:

I haven't read every single twit she's posted, but the ones I did were useless, over exaggerated, and weren't as interesting as she would make us believe.
