No Sphere Grid monster arena videos :D

Dunno how many people here have already come across them, but I thought I'd post them so you can see.

I've also had "No Summoning" and "No Doom" rules, but for a very few battles I've had to make exceptions to these rules. (Ironclad, Th'uban, Neslug, Ultima Buster, Nemesis and Dark Shiva so far)

It's not quite complete yet. So far, there is no video at all for the Dark Aeons (except Ixion and Shiva), or Penance, but I'm working on it.

Apart from obviously Shinryu, the ones I'm most proud of are Omega Weapon, Jumbo Flan and Catastrophe (all of whom were beaten with full rules). Unlike the standard Trio of 9999 and occasional Hyper Mighty G required by other bosses, these guys actually required lots of immediate and pre-planned strategy but not much luck.

Got some good news and some bad news...

I'll start with the bad news.
After extensive testing, I can confirm that Neslug is not possible without the downgrade to NSGNZ. The most damage output I could get within one round was just slightly short of what would be needed to, given infinite time, break his shell. While I did manage to keep it in him for a LONG time, he eventually recovered enough to come out. He simply cannot be done without an aeon - of course, those of you who want to go for perfection can get him into the shell (or even better, just shy of it, to avoid the whole messiness) with characters, use an aeon to shoot straight past the shell (Oblivion does this very nicely in PAL, otherwise, try Passado or else just Ultima/Flare him down to size), then dismiss the aeon and finish him off once again with characters.

Now, the good news.
Vorban has been successfully defeated and the video is uploading as I post this.


These combined means... for the monster arena, only Nemesis remains!

EDIT: Nemesis has gone down, and with that, the monster arena is complete.
