Following a couple of months of Twitter teases, Final Fantasy IX hit PSN's Game Archives service today. PS3 and PSP owners (or those who just like to collect data) can download the PlayStation classic for ¥1,500.

If I had a game as big as Final Fantasy IX coming out on PSN, I'd acknowledge its release in advance through an official site -- or at least some mention outside of Twitter. Square Enix didn't get around to doing that until today, though.

Visit the download version's official site for screens and artwork.

Well, it isn't that big a deal, being the worst of the PS1 FF games...
*gets stoned from half a dozen different directions*

*ahem* Anyways, I guess that means the US and UK will be seeing it not-too-shortly...by the end of July, maybe? I'm still debating whether I should give this godawful game another chance...I've enjoyed FFVII and FFVIII a lot more on the PSP, so maybe it'll improve IX somewhat for me as well...provided its the same price, anyway. Although I don't see any reason why it wouldn't be ._.

*goes back to FFVIII on PSP and waits for UK release news*

Well, isn't that lovely. Too bad I don't live in Japan -__-

I hope to see IX soon though. I think there's a lot of people in the US and UK/ elsewhere that have been wanting this game so, hopefully soon ! =)

Idunno if im going to get it on the psn but we'll see :monster:
