She stood, unmoving, on the edge of the steep cliff, her eyes gazing calmly out over the desert. A faint breeze tugged at her cloak, swirling it around her long legs, toying with a stray strand of hair. She pulled her hood back, feline ears swiveling to keep the sand out, pressing against her skull. With a sigh, she turned and took the few steps back to the worn path, no knowledge of where she was going, no worry of what may come.
