FFX-2 Opening song

I think LeBlanc wanted to have a bit of a spotlight as yuna, and like Rikku wondered, she was probably enjoying herself. Also, FFX-2 needed a nice opening. Why not have a singing yuna?

She had a dancer dress-sphere and wanted to sing a song.

I'm sure there is more to it than that actually... Like weren't they on some sort of Charlies Angels mission at the begining? Yuna sang while Rikku and Paine rounded up the baddies and kicked ass?

Can't remember really.


Was she a fake Yuna though? I could have sworn she was really Yuna, just using the dress sphere of that dancer-lady.


I'm sorry, my X-2 knowledge sucks, but thats the best I can say from what I remember.



EDIT - *smacks face* Brit! You just made me look like a fool! Ok, so it was LeBlanc. I'd completely forgotted / not known that.

i agree with this ^
also it would confuse the player as to why she's singing/why we fight her and would draw in our attention. a good beginning is likely to keep people playing.

yees, it was LeBlanc who nicked yuna's Garment Grid. The real yuna was in a Moogle costume hiding near some crates.

Also when they first introduce 'yuna' she has a '?' come up behind her name ;O!

What I found more confusing is... If Yuna uses a dress sphere and she's Yuna in another outfit... How can LeBlanc use a dress sphere and turn into YUNA instead of LeBlanc in the outfit? And since Rikku/Paine use the same sphere and turn into the same class with different outfits but the same person..it confuses me.

Am I making sense? :wacky:
 
ye i agree but it can hapan because the garmet grid had a problem with it an would turn you in to the person in the speher and the song is probely what yunas thinking about tides
 
...ah, but to spoiler for just a second (do spoilertags exist here? just check lol)

we know that when Yuna sings 1000 Words, its a song that Lenne, who is the girl from the dressphere, wrote, so she can hear it resonating in her. I think it's more like the character in the dressphere relates to the character who owns the dressphere, so the dressphere when in any other hands turns you into the owner. Am I making sense?

I think LeBlanc sang it simply because she wanted to. That woman seems to be the type who enjoys a lot of attention. Admittedly, when I first heard the song and saw Yuna(fake) singing, I thought that it was little out of character. Maybe it's because I never thought Yuna would sing a song that........dance-like? Can't think of a proper word for it, but I always thought 1000 Words fit better for Yuna than Real Emotion.
 
ye the song is called 1000 words but some pepole call it real emotions becaues it shows yuners fellings at the end of the 1 game any replys 2 this
